Politicians hope you see what you have caused. When Nigerians were queing for satchet of garri because you wanted their votes you forgot the world was watching and seeing the long queues. Trader noni also showed the world how hungry Nigerians were that the government was ready to give them N10000 to buy their votes. Feeding if school children was enough for the world to know that parents can't feed their children which led to high enrollment in schools. If it is only the way the world see Nigerians who are ready to eat any thing especially SNAKES here on nairaland is more than enough to classify Nigerians as hungry indeed. Lala is responsible for the rise in eating snake meat though |

paddyofboss:The contest is mainly between Nyesom Wike, incumbent governor and candidate of the PDP and Awara Biokpomabo, candidate of the AAC. The AAC candidate is being backed by Amaechi. On the eve of the March 9 gubernatorial election, Amaechi had directed his supporters to vote for Biokpomabo. Amaechi is from Ikwere LGA and seeing the way he supports AAC and told his followers of the APC at the last minute to vote and support AAC. |

GTB why not go back to the judge that gave the judgement and ask the judge to interpret in lay man's term what FIFA and garnishee has to do with innoson and customs . Or better still employ sound lawyers to breakdown the judgement and explain it to you guys . All these many super story is not helping your bank in the long run even if it is Nigerian customs that end up paying the N8 billion. Since this matter started I have not heard. Nigerian customs dishing out stories about this case instead it is GTB that is fighting and taking phensic for Nigerian customs. The fact GTB is defending itself by roping customs into the matter means there is more to this story. Customs just dey like say nothing dey happen |
Next level things. Too early for this I hope it won't be a trend because Nigeria have lost too many companies the past few years to Ghana who have a much more favorable environment to extablish a business in terms of security, electricity and quality cheap labour |
AmazingELixir:This combination or combo is too deadly and should not be encouraged thank God nairaland discourages such combo as it is toxic. Say no to Afonja and Igbo combo for a better Nigeria |
Ade Adesomoju, Abuja The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday dismissed a suit filed by the African Action Congress and three of its members seeking to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission from concluding and collating the results of the March 9, 2019 governorship and House of Assembly Elections in Rivers State. Dismissing the suit in a judgment, Justice Inyang Ekwo upheld the preliminary objection filed by the Peoples Democratic Party to challenge the jurisdiction of the court to hear the case. The judge agreed with the PDP that the Federal High Court lacked jurisdiction to hear the case adjudge to be seeking post-election prayers which could only be entertained by an election petition tribunal. He held that the suit was an attempt by the plaintiffs to make the court constitute itself into an election petition tribunal. The plaintiffs who filed the suit marked FHC/ ABJ/CS/303/2019, were AAC, its governorship candidate in Rivers State, Biokpomabo Awara, and Ben-Gurion John Peter. The respondents to the suit which was filed on March 18, 2019 were the Independent National Electoral Commission and the Peoples Democratic Party. The plaintiffs, had in their suit, challenged INEC’s decision to resume the announcement of the results of the election which it had earlier said was marred by violence and irregularities. The had contended that the credibility of the election had been impugned by violence, disruption and appointment of PDP’s members by INEC in the conduct of the election, therefore, the electoral body ought to conduct a fresh election. |
NCAN Guess you have all forgotten your duties as members of this great association known as Name Checkers Association of Nigeria. At least this one is a very simple one. WAZOBIA all the 3 are well represented be them gbo or Hausa or Yoruba. |

Since Sharia started here in Nigeria this country has never known peace. The origin of 99% of the problem in the North started with Sharia after all before Sharia the North was relatively peaceful. That's why most European countries are afraid of Muslims coming to their country to come and impose Sharia in the future there by making their country to resemble Nigeria, Somalia, Mali just to name a few. Majority of Muslims want to go to Europe and stay but they don't want to go to Saudi Arabia and stay. |
Let's wait for Charley boy to help end SARS as our mumu never do. Lol |

Our gallant military should be more observant as they drive on the roads since bokoharam now depend more on IED and better still they should study how America handled issues of IED in Iraq and Afghanistan because it was heavily used by alqaeda. |
Before in the 70s and 80s there was arrangement between political parties and the police in relation to arms released by politicians to thugs and how to retrieve the weapons back after the elections. But now everything has changed because after every elections the thugs always fail to return the guns mobilised for them to support their political parties. Please politicians and INEC should make strong arrangement on how to retrieve guns given out to these thugs. Just take a look at rivers where the elections are over but the crime rate not be here. |
Nukilia:You like miracles share Just say you want to laugh the Nigerian police that they can't lift finger prints from a crime scene. And it's funny Nigeria is the only African country whose police force don't know how to lift finger prints or data base. |
