How have you been preparing for these exams since 2009 ?
I mean target scores and study strategies.

2009 Jamb 232, 2010 Jamb 236, 2011 Jamb 245, 2012 Jamb 196, 2013 Jamb 219.

Post Jamb 55, 50, 62, nil, 62 respectively

i read text Books, Modern Biology, New school chemistry, Lamland series Bio and Chem. Past Jamb questions.

2011 I was given Animal and Environmental Biology but refuse to do clearance. Thats same year someone got that Med surg with 50 for post ume.

At present I am studying Biomedical engineering TECHNOLOGY in UBTH benin city. I am even writing my project now. And I am writing my last exam by this August to round off The ND
program.

I spent all the time reading for my post ume and it is now I am reading for my final ND exam.

I believe I will be given the Med this time around.

All the best[/quote]i know it is not a do or die affair to study Medicine. But it is a call. There is different between those that got into Med school by pressure from parents wanting their children to stidy the course and those who were born with the passion.

I will like to say that if I don't study Med then my Destiny has been terminated. I pray it should not be terminated in Jesus name.

There is something God want to use me to accomplish in the Health sector. I am not just saying it cuz I knew right from time.

will u doubt it if I tell u that that Medicine that is so Big to us people got it with 50, 54 and 64? Pls take note: they have no lecturer that help them. Ask them and they will tell u it was God that did it for them. Trust me people that scored 60 to 64 will still be given this Medicine. Go to those that are in 100level now, u will see those that score 60, 61, 62, 63, 64 among those that got admitted last year.

Lets not put trust on the score we have. Is by the grace of God

u are a native of Edo? And u are panicking? U got 62 ba? U are in already. Don't doubt me cuz I know what am saying. Got 62 too but am going the other way round though we are going to do the same thing till 500level. Someone got it with 61 two year ago. The person is not even from Edo.

It simply means people who got exactly the same or above the figures given are in.. Those who got lower might be considered if they fall under catchment area and elds And most especially if GOD is with us..

U post Medicine twice. Why 65 and 68? Whats the actual cut off u posted? Medicine na Medicine o. We don't have Medidne and MEDICINE & surgery. Nothing like that. Is one medicine we have.

i.e my Jamb was 219 which was divided by 8 to gie 27.375
and my screening score was divided by 2. 69/2 = 34.5

27.375 + 34.5 = 62

God knows I have tried my best. Bought Books, read day and night and was actually expecting more than that.

That could get me pure Medicine by the grace of God

I have not been seeing any meaningful post here. But all I see is unnecessary posts. I hardly post but u all know whenever I post I post about something meaningful about the admission that we are all waiting for.

THAT IS WHY SOME CRITERIA WERE LAY DOWN BY N.U.C. AND THEY WARN ALL UNIVERSITIES TO ABIDE BY IT.

IF CANDIDATES SCORED 60, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67 FROM ONE PARTICULAR CATCHMENT AREA & THEY ALL PUT IN FOR LAW, & THEY ONLY NEED 4 FROM THAT CATCHMENT AREA OUT OF THE 7 CANDIDATES, WHAT THEY WILL DO IS TO PICK THE ONE OF 62, 66, 64 & 67 leaving 60, 63 & 65 WHICH MAY POSSIBLY BE GIVEN OTHER COURSES OUT SIDE LAW. U MAY SAY THAT THEY DIDN'T GIVE 65 LAW BUT 62, 64 GOT LAW. BUT WHAT THEY DID WAS TRYING TO ABIDE BY THE LAW OF EQUITY. He is right. Medicine don't accommodate more than 100 and Dentistry don't accomodate more than 25. When lecture will start for freshers, both Medical, Dental & Basic medical science students will all receive lecture together in the same Hall.

REASON: N.U.C HAS GIVEN ALL UNIVERSITIES THE ULTMATUM TO ROUND OFF EVERYTHING ABOUT ADMISSION LATEST OCTOBER. AND AS WE ALL KNOW, THE ADMISSION LIST WILL COME OUT IN TWO STAGES.


FIRST THE MERIT LIST THAT WILL CONTAIN ONLY THOSE THAT THEIR ACTUALLY COURSE IS GIVEN. THAT MEANS ANYBODY WHOSE NAME IS NOT FOUND IN THE MERIT LIST WIL BE GIVEN ANOTHER COURSE ENTIRELY IN THE 2ND LIST THAT WILL LATER BE RELEASE SHORTLY AFTER THE MERIT LIST. SOMEWHERE SEPTEMBER THE 2NF LIST WILL BE RELEASE. THAT LIST WILL ONLY BE MADE UP OF THOSE THAT WILL BE GIVEN OTHER COURSES RATHER THAN THE ONE THEY PUT IN FOR.

AS OF LAST 2YRS, UNIBEN ADMITTED 85 INTO MECINE.

I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHECK ASPIRANTS SCORE CUZ IT WAS PASTED RIGHT ON UNIBEN ADMISSION PORTAL

AS I WAS CHECKING THROUGH THEIR ADMISSION STATUS, I SAW SOMETHING THAT BEAT MY IMMAGINATION. I SAW A GUY WHO SCORED 50 AS AGGREGATE ADMITTED INTO THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE DELTA STATE BY STATE OF ORIGIN.

I STARTED CHECKING THROUGH AND SAW A GIRL WHO SCORED 64 AGGREGATE ADMITTED INTO THE SAME MEDICINE. A GUT FROM KADUNA SCORED 54 AND WAS STILL ADMITTED INTO MEDICINE.


IN ESSENCE, UNIBEN DO ACTUALLY FOLLOW SO MANY CRITERIA THAT N.U.C LAY DOWN FOR THEM. ANY DEFAULT OF SUCH CRITERIA MAY LEAD TO THE UNIVERSITY BEING SANCTION.

THAT SAME YEAR, I WAS THROWN TO ANIMAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL BIOLOGY WITH 62. WHY MY FRINED WAS GIVEN 'PLANT BIOTECHNOLOGY' WITH A SCORE OF 60. BOTH OF US PUT IN FOR MEDICINE BUT WAS THROWN TO THOSE 2 DEPARTMENTS RESPECTIVELY.

WHAT AM I TRYING TO SAY?

EVERYTHING IS PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION. EVEN LAST YEAR, I HAPPEN TO GET TO KNOW 2 PERSONS THAT WERE ADMITTED INTO MEDICINE WITH 66 AGGREGATE EACH. I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ASK THEM IF THERE ARE THOSE ADMITTED INTO MEDICINE WITH 60 AGGREGATE AND THEY ANSWER YES DEFINITELY. THAT THERE ARE THOSE WITH 60, 61, 63 ADMITTED INTO MEDICINE. I HAPPENED TO KNOW ANOTHER GUY WHO SCORED 65 AGG BUT WAS GIVN OPTOMETRY INSTEAD OF MEDICINE.

PRAYERS HAVE IT ALL FOR NOW.

BUT THE NUMBER DO NOT EXCEED 100 THAT ARE ADMITTED INTO MED SURG WHILE LAW DO ACCOMODATE UP TO 150 AND EVEN UP TO 200

na real tough one o. But I still believe some who score 60 will still be on Merit list thats Uniben for u. God knows it all.

But as for me I am still trusting God for this battle with my 62. I nor know weti Uniben like for always making my Aggregate to be 62. Last two years it was 62 they still gave me as agg. Something is behind this hehehhe na God hand o. Something must happen this year admission.

my sister not only you o. Jamb do us something well well. This is the year that I had high score for screening score but my Jamb score just spoil show for me.

But the truth is that NUC lay down criteria for admission to all the University. And they warned all Uni to stick to it. The criteria are: merit, Catchment Area and those from Less educated state.
Like as I have always said, 54 was admitted into Med 2011 from Kaduna state a guy. Why someone who scored 65 was given Optometry that same year. So lets wait for the admission list it will be out before August runs out.

Whoever do not see admitted wen the list is out just know that is another course he or she will be given. But the truth is that those who scored 60 and above must be given something even if not the desire course
