It doesn't affect the outcome of your application but in my opinion, if you have not submitted already, do some transactions on the account even if its just a transaction on the day u want to print, just so the 28days statement isn't blank.

BIGBENB:
1. For an applicant who is counting 28 days on his/her parent’s account is it necessary that transactions happen on the account during the 28 day period?

2. Must there be withdrawals and deposits during the 28 day period?

3. What if there are no withdrawals and deposits and the total required funds is in surplus does it in anyway affect chances of getting a the Tier 4 visa?

Gurus in the house I forward to your responses

If you are not far from VI, I advise you go to TLS and tell the situation.

Ewunugaab:
I got a decision email on the 23rd, and up until today, I'm yet to receive any mail and my application still shows at DMC.
My biometrics date was on the 8th of September, VI center.

Please who has experienced this? And what do you advice that I do?
Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Mctee07: 8:27am On Sep 21, 2020
Start uploading what you immediately you get a closer date for self service but DON'T SUBMIT until you have included the TB test result, i read somewhere on this platform that you can submit 2hrs before your biometrics so a day or two before biometrics is fine.

OBYNOWEST12:
Thanks bro,, I want to ask now. If my biometric is on 16th October, self service selected. Is it possible to upload my documents 14th or 15th October before going for biometric. I planned doing my TB test 14th or15th, the TB result will be out b4 16th. Den I upload all my documents.

Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Mctee07: 11:38pm On Sep 20, 2020
If you amend and you are lucky to get a self service date, you don't have to pay but if you amend to another assisted service date, then the assisted service charge will apply again.

OBYNOWEST12:
I got 22nd October, Tier 2 Visa, assisted service.

But I want a date closer like second week of October. How can I amend. If I amend will I need to pay again for biometric.

Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Mctee07: 6:52am On Sep 20, 2020
It means those days are not available, they have been fully booked so move further to see available dates, however, after choosing a date u can search for closer dates by amending your application as closer dates pop up intermittently.

Hope this helps

just4obitex:
Pls. Trying to book for biometrics at Tlscontact I am seeing available dates , but they are not hilighting to be booked. What do I do please gurus in the house @mimilyrics

I don't think that response was rude though, you need to see some responses . That particular response wasn't rude in my opinion.

Slimmzyy:
Like I said, if you can't respect people and answer their questions politely without being rude, then you don't have to respond.
Being polite and respectful doesn't make you any less of a man or woman.
Goodluck with your application and future endeavours.

Its straightforward, once you are at the point of payment, select paga verve as your preferred payment option, you will be asked for you name, phone number and card details, an OTP will be sent to you to authenticate the transaction and that's all.

ralphtamtobi:
Thank you so much for responding.

Please do you know how i can go about the whole process?

i need to open a Paga account, and load money to the wallet?

I don't know about other options but paga verve is about 390

ralphtamtobi:
From the previous thread, what exchange rate are you people using for the payment of visa and IHS? Be it Paga or anyone .

i want to know if the money in my account is enough.
i do know that dollar fluctuates daily.

Also you can reffer me to a link where i can check it daily.

Thanks

Keep refreshing the page, there is no specific time as to when dates pops up. You have to sacrifice to remain online and get a better date. Better still you can share your login details with your trusted friends who can keep searching for you too.

Good morning guys

Please is there any pattern as to when TLS usually free up dates? I got 24th of September for my biometrics at Ikeja and its late. Please any advise on how to get an earlier date will be appreciated.

Do you mean just mentioning him or actually submitting an application for him. Mentioning him without applying is fine and you should for future record history purposes but applying for him then

That will be hard if your wife has full custody and not you because the rule is

The Main Applicant is the parent that has and has had sole responsibility for the applicant’s
upbringing (the dependent) ... and this is usually supported by an evidence of a court order

I mean just mentioning, he won't be travelling with me for now.
Thanks for your input

TheGuyFromHR:

You should mention him where the form asks for such information.

But if your wife has custody you cannot take him along as a dependant.
If you declare your marital status as "divorced" or single, you don't need to provide any proof as that as you are not attempting to take along a partner as a dependant and there is consequently no need to prove any relationship to anyone.

Thank you very much

Hi guys, good morning and happy Sunday
Please I have an enquiry

I am divorced and my wife has custody of our son, would I still need to mention him as a dependant for my visa application? And would I need any documentation as regards the divorce?

Would appreciate your input

Medical programs are expensive but Public Health at Teesside is very affordable.

wongwe:
Please elders in the house. Can you share with us the cheapest schools for international students who want to run a 1 year program.

Google is my friend, but i accessed Google but couldn't find tuition fee less than £12k for courses in medical field.

Thanks

Phenmeson:

Based on the 4 University above, the living cost of the 4 cities are almost equal. Going for M. Sc Nursing, you can get yourself in NHS depending on your performance due to shortage of staff in UK health sector.
Graduating from any of remaining universities /courses, you can get yourself a Post study work visa which eligible you to work in UK.
*job opportunities during study is guaranteed on 20hrs depending on your commitment to work.
You now need to decide if you can finance yourself on the tuition fee. If not, go for the cheapest tuition fee/flexibility option that suits you.
Decision making is left for you.
Good luck

MPH is lucrative in the UK and VERY lucrative in developing countries, especially African countries. He or She might be lucky to get a job in the UK or work as an expatriate in other countries

Applicant should do further research

LaaJiblik:

Masters in Public Health is NOT a lucrative course, unfortunately (strictly my opinion).

If I may ask (for the sake of clarity and to help others), what type of job roles EXACTLY do you think your MPH degree will stand you out in the UK? Or anywhere in the world for that matter?

sport rehabilitation is not a worthwhile course you should spend your time and money to study in UK. Look for other disciplines you can enter into. Do you have any work experience within the health sector?

I have a year experience in the hospital but I was doing basically admin duties

Good evening guys,

I need your advice
Teesside University rejected my application for Masters in public health. The mail I received:

Thank you for your application to Teesside University’s MPH Public Health (Applied) programme. Unfortunately, your application has been
unsuccessful for the following reason(s):
Application unsuccessful - you are not sufficiently qualified. The qualifications that you hold or are working towards are not of the required
level or in appropriate subjects for your chosen course of study.
We would like to thank you for your interest in Teesside University and wish you every success for the future.
Yours sincerely

I studied Physiology (2.2), a lot of physiologist study public health for masters and I know a couple in UK.

@Tobexin and others kindly advise as I am just confused

@Tobexin, i mailed Teesside my documents and explained how Physiology is relevant to Public health but still responded that its not relevant.

I went to the Postgraduate programs under health and its only Sport rehabilitation that i can apply for. Based on your experience so far, would Sport rehabilitation be a good program? in terms of finding a good job while studying and after studies

thanks in advance

Eyitayorme:
Good Morning everyone.

I have an offer for MPH at Teesside University in September.

I would like clarification on some questions I have.
1) Resumption date is September 21 ( orientation is for 19th). School is asking for account statement for CAS processing not earlier than 21st June...What day would you advice that my account statement starts counting from?
2) I would be using the same account for TEIR 4 VISA, how can I be on the safe side Incase my school delays with CAS and still not exceed the 30 days old for VISA

I will like to add that I am trying to be very fast and all so I can have enough time for Standard VISA application

Thank you for your kind response

Hello, im a prospective student like you, just want to confirm if your came with any waiver/scholarship?

Mykaelolalekan:
I had my English Language Proficiency Interview today with Teeside University. I received my results shortly afterwards and my unconditional admission offer almost immediately. I was required to pay 4k pounds deposit to secure my slot. Now that I am contemplating paying within next week, I will be glad if any Teeside University current or past students can shed more light on the prospect of attending the school.
