Been almost 2 years I got my parcels routed via NIPOST. Is this luck or what? The NIPOST friends I made sometimes call to check on me. They are wondering why they no longer see me around. A friend of mine studied biology in the US, but his skills range from networking to renewable energy. He has more tools and expertise than most professionals because he actually took the time to learn how to do it himself.

A typical Nigerian wouldn’t do that; they’d rather call an 'expert' and expect free labor. It’s wild how some of us operate.

I like that you can talk about ship time in review, but making it the only review is now something I see often in Nigerian review. Nothing about the product they bought.

The person in the screenshot actually received his item, yet decided to drop a 3 - star reviews for the store simply because he was yet to test the product.

What he should have done was to confirm receipt of the order immediately and then wait for 2 or more days before adding the reviews (by then, he'd have been through with the testing).

I’m honestly shook, bro. How did he even find time to drop a 3-star review when he hasn’t even tested the thing yet? It makes zero sense. I keep seeing reviews like this from Nigerians - stuff like “It arrived late,” “It arrived fast,” or “Don’t use NIPOST next time.” None of that has anything to do with the actual product! So now, people like me who actually want to know if the item’s worth buying are left guessing. It’s kinda sad - like, five of my countrymen left full-on blank reviews and I still have no clue if this thing even works.

Action: Change Setting 03 to APL (Appliance).

19 Bulk (CV) Voltage 28.2V Charges cells to ~3.52V (safe, full charge).

20 Float Voltage 27.0V Maintains battery without stress (~3.37V/cell). If this issue continued after this setting, change Float to be the same with Bulk voltage (28.2V).

21 Low DC Cut-off 24.5V

Quick Question: When the charging stops, does the "AC" icon on the screen disappear or flash, or does the battery icon simply stop moving? Knowing this will tell us if it's a voltage stability issue or a software setting issue.

Yes, it recognises mains, but immediately it starts charging with mains, it automatically disconnects. And the cycle repeat itself until I put off the mains breaker.

I have no idea. How do I access the charging profile settings?

Other options: AGM, Flooded, or LI (Lithium).

I have a little challenge with my growatt 3kva inverter. Since I installed it, it has refused to charge my batteries using the grid, so basically I only charge using solar. However, considering the raining season is almost upon us, I wanna get it fix ASAP.

Anytime I connect it to the grid, it does connect quite well but as the battery is about to start charging, it automatically disconnects. I've tried it several times, but the issue still persist.

For context, the grid supply voltage reads between 230 - 240, therefore it's not a case of low voltage or high voltage.

Pls, does anyone know why it refuses to charge?

Check Program 14, I think, in Settings. These are the priority settings:

CSO (Solar Priority): Uses Solar first. Grid only kicks in when the sun is down or too weak. (Best for lower bills).

CUT (Utility Priority): Uses Grid first. Solar only acts as a backup if the power goes out. (Best if solar is very limited).

SNU (Solar & Utility): Uses Both simultaneously. Charges the battery as fast as possible. (Best for unstable power areas).

OSO (Only Solar): Uses Solar only. The grid will never charge the battery. (Best for 100% off-grid setups).

You may likely be in OSO which only allows for solar charging. Change to SNU

Balance Leads (Voltage Sensing): Connect the thick black wire (B-) to the pack's most negative terminal. Attach thin white wires sequentially to each cell's positive terminal (B1 to first cell +, B2 to second, up to your S count, e.g., B16 for 16S; unused leads stay uncut). Red wire (if present) or final Bx to pack positive. Verify voltages rise ~3.3V per wire with multimeter before plugging into BMS port.

I can see the discharge MOSFET is off. Turn it back on. I hope the balance leads (voltage sensing wires) are correctly connected.

My people abeg who has handy information of the power consumption of a typical 1hp air conditioner (non inverter models)

Conversion of 1hp to wattage is around 749watt but some 1hp air conditioner n even 1hp pumping machine consume as high as 1kw+, the thing no con clear again

1200w at peak power consumption.

I think you'd get the current rate. Forgotten how this works in Naira. My refund was in $. So I got exactly how much I spent on the refunded item.

I ordered for a smartphone display. It arrived quite fast, but the display turned out to be defective. If you connect it to the board, it comes on. But once you try to put the display in it's position, it won't come on again until you bring it back out. Funny enough, it the screen is on while you are putting it, it won't go off. But once it turns off, it will not turn on until you separate the screen from the frame. This basically means that the flex cable has issues that only appears when the cable is flexed enough.
I immediately opened a dispute and made a video of the issue as much as possible and uploaded as evidence. I also sent the video to the seller.
Oga seller tried to buy time and said I should take it to a technician. Ah! I told him I am a technician.
AliExpress offered a refund of 20% of the price. I refused.
Seller then contacted me and said I should make a video showing the screen in details and then I should destroy the screen in the video. This is to make sure I'm not trying to get full refund when the screen is still usable. If he sees the video, he will approve full refund for me.
I agreed and destroyed the screen in the video since it is basically useless.
After seeing the video, oga then said, "now close the dispute so I can approve your full refund".
Ah! Close dispute? I then asked him how I will get the full refund if I close the dispute. Dude stopped responding.
In case you don't know, dispute is the ONLY way you can get your money back from AliExpress. Any other promises from any seller na scam.
As oga refused to respond naah, I took a screenshot of where he said I should destroy the screen and added it to my dispute as evidence. I also uploaded the video of me destroying the video to the dispute.
2 days later, AliExpress gave me full refund without return.

The biggest mistake you can make on AliExpress is to listen to a seller and close your dispute. If you do that, your money is gone. Any promises he is making should be offered in the dispute or implementated fully before you close the dispute.
Don't fall for Chinese people mischief.

Mine was a different story. The display had a line in it, so I opened a dispute and was refunded immediately. I then ordered an OEM display, which cost three times as much as the first OLED screen I bought. Now I’m stuck with an OLED screen with line and every other thing works, and a brand-new OEM one that I’m currently using.

Abeg who knows where I can get a soft-starter for a submersible pump. The initial power draws for pumps is almost 3X the power rating. Please, I'm not looking foe the expensive Schneider et al. soft starters with all the machinery. Just anything that will dampen that initial power draw.
