ajabani4allah: Good morning house, pls how do I connect and activate this smart BMS? I have gotten this JBD 50A Smart BMS but it's not connecting whenever I try to connect, it does not give output and the bluetooth connection will later go out and disconnect Balance Leads (Voltage Sensing): Connect the thick black wire (B-) to the pack's most negative terminal. Attach thin white wires sequentially to each cell's positive terminal (B1 to first cell +, B2 to second, up to your S count, e.g., B16 for 16S; unused leads stay uncut). Red wire (if present) or final Bx to pack positive. Verify voltages rise ~3.3V per wire with multimeter before plugging into BMS port. I can see the discharge MOSFET is off. Turn it back on. I hope the balance leads (voltage sensing wires) are correctly connected. |

Conversion of 1hp to wattage is around 749watt but some 1hp air conditioner n even 1hp pumping machine consume as high as 1kw+, the thing no con clear again 1200w at peak power consumption. |

Macmilla: Another dispute/refund brouhaha. ... I ordered for a smartphone display. It arrived quite fast, but the display turned out to be defective. If you connect it to the board, it comes on. But once you try to put the display in it's position, it won't come on again until you bring it back out. Funny enough, it the screen is on while you are putting it, it won't go off. But once it turns off, it will not turn on until you separate the screen from the frame. This basically means that the flex cable has issues that only appears when the cable is flexed enough. I immediately opened a dispute and made a video of the issue as much as possible and uploaded as evidence. I also sent the video to the seller. Oga seller tried to buy time and said I should take it to a technician. Ah! I told him I am a technician. AliExpress offered a refund of 20% of the price. I refused. Seller then contacted me and said I should make a video showing the screen in details and then I should destroy the screen in the video. This is to make sure I'm not trying to get full refund when the screen is still usable. If he sees the video, he will approve full refund for me. I agreed and destroyed the screen in the video since it is basically useless. After seeing the video, oga then said, "now close the dispute so I can approve your full refund". Ah! Close dispute? I then asked him how I will get the full refund if I close the dispute. Dude stopped responding. In case you don't know, dispute is the ONLY way you can get your money back from AliExpress. Any other promises from any seller na scam. As oga refused to respond naah, I took a screenshot of where he said I should destroy the screen and added it to my dispute as evidence. I also uploaded the video of me destroying the video to the dispute. 2 days later, AliExpress gave me full refund without return. ... The biggest mistake you can make on AliExpress is to listen to a seller and close your dispute. If you do that, your money is gone. Any promises he is making should be offered in the dispute or implementated fully before you close the dispute. Don't fall for Chinese people mischief. Mine was a different story. The display had a line in it, so I opened a dispute and was refunded immediately. I then ordered an OEM display, which cost three times as much as the first OLED screen I bought. Now I’m stuck with an OLED screen with line and every other thing works, and a brand-new OEM one that I’m currently using.

abuzz33: 1.5hp is 1,200W not 2,000W. Surge is 2-3x or 2.4-3.6KW. So your inverter must be able to handle at least 4KW just for the pump to start. Your solar production at peak sun must be at least 1.5KWh or your battery must have at least 4KWh available if you are running it for 3 hours.
Unless you have a very deep borehole or a very high tank stand, like recommended best to go for a 1HP submersible pump if you want to run it with the 3.5kw inverter you mentioned. A 1 hp pump at most needs 2.2KW starting power and 745W running power. Our 1HP submersible pump consumes 1450w...in theory it's not supposed to be this high....but in reality it does. |

A big TV and small appliances like a few white bulbs and 2 small 50W standing fans. My budget is 1M. Don't know if it'll be enough to include quality panels like jinko, and batteries like felicity etc 1) 10kwh 48v battery = ₦1.4m 2) 6kva hybrid inverter ₦600k 3) 8 nos 600w Solar Panels @ ₦115k/each = ₦920k That's almost ₦3m. That I cannot charge the battery through the inverter with solar power. I say make I come meet our solar ancestors to help set the matter straight. Valto: lolz , so these few details make it to be 700k more costly ? LVTOPSUN 16KWH used, gangfeng 314ah cells that pulls 323ah on capacity test
VALTECH ENERGY uses brand new Gotion 314ah cells that pulls over 333ah on capacity test with 12,000 cycles. we uses the latest version V19 JK 200A 2A active balancer smart inverter bms with communication ports, our batteries has superior Bluetooth monitoring app. original CHINT 125A 2pole DC circuit. A well coupled battery doesn't need any fire extinguisher also let me educate u, lifepo4 cells rarely catch fire, rather it smokes and your fire extinguisher ,can't stop or prevent it from doing so. as for installing it outside ,goodluck with that in Nigeria , u will wake up without light and your batteries Bro easy on the 12,000 cycles as that claim is sort of gimmicky

I8id: Honestly, there isn’t much difference. When the earbuds were new, a full charge could last a whole day or even longer, depending on how much I used them. It’s the same with the replacement batteries — their performance still depends on usage, and they’ve been quite efficient so far. Ok, that is great. Thanks for the update |

Phones › Re: The Head Phones And Earbuds Thread by mctfopt: 6:52am On Dec 31, 2025 |
I8id: The first time I replaced mine was around mid-2023, and it cost ₦1,000 per earbud. The second time was in August this year, and it cost ₦1,500 per earbud, so it’s really not expensive. I haven’t replaced the battery of the charging case yet, only the earbuds and they’re still working fine. So if your earbuds are weak or not holding charge, battery replacement is a cheaper option than buying a new one. That is a great tip! ₦3,000 is an absolute steal compared to the price of a brand-new pair of quality earbuds these days. Most people don't even realize the batteries in the buds can be swapped out-they usually just toss them and buy new ones, which is a waste of money and creates unnecessary e-waste. A quick question for you: how long does the "new" battery usually last compared to the original? |
Phones › Re: The Head Phones And Earbuds Thread by mctfopt: 5:29pm On Dec 26, 2025 |
I8id: do you stay around lagos? If you stay in Lagos or close to major market hubs where electronics are sold and repaired, you’ll definitely see repair shops that fix earbuds and AirPods. I’ve changed mine twice within three years. I use an Oraimo FreePods 3 (2Baba Edition), and the batteries are usually the same. When you get to the market, just ask around for where they repair earbuds. I usually replace mine at Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos — after Ogbosi Plaza, along the road, third staircase, before Unity Bank. I’m saying this because I’ve seen many people throw away their earbuds once they start having battery issues, without knowing that the batteries can actually be replaced. My earbuds sounds so good. I'd hate to replace it simply because of battery issues. Good to see that there are actually people who work on it, as it should. What does it cost to do this kind of replacement? |
