Good day boses
I just installed this 12v 2kva Sms sunmate Hybrid inverter. Owner has a cheat freezer of 105w. My concern now is, the inverter couldn't power the freezer even while all other loads are off.
I know freezer has an higher startup current, i just thought the 2kva will be enough to power it.

My question is, what size of inverter will be recomendable for that size of freezer?

That SMS inverter must be seriously overrated not to handle this load. I once ran a Scan Frost freezer (non inverter type) of 150w on a 1.5kva 24v Luminous inverter (on four nos 200ah lead acid batteries). Noticed the starting surge is like 6x the freezer's wattage rating as it hits a momentary 800w as it the compressor starts.

If the inverter ain't the culprit, you may consider the battery next. If the battery ain't ok or enough, the startup surge may drop the battery below the inverter's low voltage disconnect.

Get thermocool instead...hisense inverter Ac is not inverter enough...

Can you share more on this?

Hisense inverter AC currently retails for between 280k to 300k. Dunno the range for Thermocool.

Pls I bought some items from Aliexpress and after i recieve it,there are complains on the items ,so i message the seller,he said i should send them back so he can send another one. So i want to know if this is right and if yes,how do I go about it.

Open dispute. If the resolution is to send items back (which is often a very expensive adventure) then do it. I only encourage people to send very expensive items back. Eg if I bought any item less than $30, I'll rather reach an agreement with seller for a partial refund rather than to send it back. When you get to FedEx and see cost of sending an item to China is ₦40k (base cost for very light package), you just gotta find another way.

Has anyone here successfully bought anything from Alibaba. Does it work like AliExpress where you just pay and and wait to receive you item?

Yes, loads of times I've done this. But you'll have to do some work.

Why is that so and does anyone know of a way to walk around it?

Calls for concern!

From the look of things, If something urgent is not done to checkmate it, the rate will hit 2k before the end of 2024.

It'll surely get there even before end. At this rate it's climbing , we'll see a ₦2k $1

Are these labels those of original trina panels?
The asking price is 55k.
What's your take on the is guys?

It looks, to my untrained eyes, as if there was another label there that was removed to place this Trina label. Also, the label appears to be older than the solar panel. I may entirely be mistaken, just making assumptions based on what I could see in this picture.

Why do you say so? I believe it takes some measurements, are the measurements wrong ?

It does take measurements of say battery voltage which you can get from any voltage meter. But it doesn't really tell you accurately if a battery is weak or not

And if by chance u see curve edge with bubbles under it too. Most likely fake. Save ursef the stress n buy from fouani, gennex n other accredited sellers

It’s the only Nov 11 shipment that hasn’t arrived. Nov 24 items arrived before 2023 ended.

Any hope this will still arrive?

Thanks

I have an item purchased before 11-11 that is yet to get here. There is still hope.

Something happened about an hour ago where I went to buy felicity inverter at Garki modern market, Abuja for those that are familiar with the place.

A man came to buy felicity lead acid battery 12v 200ah. He needed 2pcs for 24v system. He came with a battery tester exactly like the one shown below. The shop attendant brought two new batteries but after the test, one showed "good battery" while the second one showed "replace battery". The customer rejected the second battery and demanded a replacement which caused an exchange of words btw the shop and the customer as the shop owner refused replacing the second battery.

My question is has anyone here ever used this battery tester and how reliable is it

I have this tester, and I can confidently tell you it ain't reliable.

Okay. Thank you for your expository. But how do I start sourcing for reliable third party shippers based in china that can handle the delivery for my order from China? Do you know your third party shippers well? Are they relatives based in china or do you have relatives in China that know them well?

At bolded, a big NO.

I found my third party shippers via checking online for em. Some of them may look sketchy but they do deliver in my own case. Please it's always advised to do your own research as I can't vouch for any of these third party shippers (yes I've once used them and they delivered). I'm also in no way affiliated to them. That being said you can check out the following

1) Nonikings Logistics (the Chinese number that ends in 2441 is on Whatsapp)

2) Hart Logistics

And others.

OK. Thank you for the clarification. But I'm wondering, how will I get the third party shipping company to pick up and deliver an order I place?

Before you make the order, you will chat up the seller and inform them that you have a shipper in China and then give the seller the shipper's address to send your package(s) to.

This is standard practice in Alibaba, in AliExpress some sellers may agree to ship to your shipper in China, while others will not. AliExpress sellers often like to leave logistics for AliExpress to handle as they are insured, in the event of loss, AliExpress covers the cost of the item. Thus, many sellers in AliExpress are hesitant to use third party shippers, but Alibaba sellers (usually accustomed to big buyers) are accustomed to buyers having shippers, so no biggie here.

That said, I've used third party shipper in both AliExpress and Alibaba. The highest a seller can say is no, I'll chat up another seller that may likely say yes.

Hello. Can you provide more information on the third party shipping? How's it done? How do you pick a third party shipper? Is it insured like AliExpress standard shipping?

Also, what is the best payment method to use now for payment on AliExpress?

Sorry for the many questions.

Do drop your ph num in response so I can recharge your line. Thank you

Third party shippers are just logistics companies not affiliated with AliExpress or Alibaba.

Are they secured like AliExpress shippers? Well, yes and no, it depends on the logistics company you use. But I've never lost a dime using many different logistic companies based in China; I may just be lucky.

There are many fintech companies that can facilitate payments for USD transactions. They include and not limited to Klasha, Bitnob, Chipper Cash, etc or you can open a dollar account and get your dollars in the black market and deposit in your dollar account. There are also individuals here that can help you make payment (do your own research on that).

Want to get 2 300watt panel cos of space and future expansion rather than 3 200watt but their voltage is over 30v, is there a way to step it down to 25v which is within safe limits? Getting a pwm seems a waste to me as the specs of most I av seen is similar to my inverter own and money for mppt never complete. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Buy a PWM. It's more cost effective, given the scenario you described above.

Please, just advise me, the prices of drones in Nigeria are too high.
If there is a WhatsApp group, I don't mind being added 09017278285
Thank you.

Don't ship your drone with normal shipping. I'll suggest to get a third party shipper. Your device may likely be seized by the customs citing one useless security infringement that is non existent in our constitution or outrightly stolen. The third party shippers know how to navigate the customs wahala and duty.

GTB dollar card offered some of my friends up to $50 during the Christmas sales, dunno if it's still giving such a discount now.

I once bought a DJI drone off Alibaba, three years ago, crashed it on my second time using it smiley

Had to send it back to China for repairs (saw hell as many courier companies refused to take it citing fears it'll be stolen or seized). And had a seamless return (of course using a third party shipper) when it's fixed. Drone still flying smiley

I was shocked too.
I got to know this when I was in the market for panels and reached out to Coscharis Technologies for Jinko panels, when I told the lady that their price for 555w was way higher than what I was offered for the 575w in alaba that was when she asked me to request for the S/N of the panels they offered let her verify if it's the original or fake, well my shock was shocked with the outcome.

I ended up getting the Longi as they only had the 555w in stock and I personally verified all the panels from Longi website before leaving with the panels.

That's a good update, so fellas now know to check as these our boys in Alaba no dey hear word.
