kristien4: What if 2 batteries are connected in parallel. Can you still get double the output i.e 3840watts
No, you won't as you cant draw more than 150A from the BMS.
Two batteries in parallel is still 12.8v nominal. So in this case you can't get to draw more than 150A, but your backup hours for load under 150A draw will surely double.
Edit: I made a mistake here. You can double the current drawn. But that will be so much current you gotta need a very large conductor.
ask4bk: No be same country the locals went to a solar harvest field and were breaking hundreds of panels with sticks and rods by both men and women coz someone told them that the installation of panels is interfering and stopping rain from falling down?
After doing such mega projects, they should endeavour to educate the people.
There's a reason solar renewable energy is used in 3rd world countries more than 1st worlds who already have stable energy albeit unclean. It's when your power is epileptic that you've no option than to adopt more affordable and accessible options like renewable energy.
THEY need education.
Education may be expensive, but I assure you the cost of ignorance is greater
gbengress1: Hello everyone . My package has been with custom for more than 10;days now. The package is a steaming iron and the tracking number is CP544348289CN. What can I do?
You can do two things:
1) Check with your nearest post office (sometimes tracking with NIPOST don't update in real time).
Charley2020: Hello house, I just discovered that lithium batteries have a max output power but don't really understand what it means. And I haven't seen anyone talking about it on this thread.
For example, the Cworth 2.56KWH lithium battery has a max output power of 1920W. Does this mean I won't be able to power an appliance that has a surge of 2500W even if I have a 5000W inverter connected to this Cworth 2.56KWH battery?
No, you can't do that.
The highest current the BMS can handle is 150A.
This is a 12.8v nominal battery.
12.8 X 150 = 1920 watts.
You can only draw more than 1920w if this battery allows connection in series. Eg you can draw twice that wattage ie 12.8x2 = 25.6v. Multiply by 150A will give you 3840 watts.
This is the reason most people run bigger loads at higher inverter system voltage ie 48v and above.
In industrial system we have Deye that can run up to 800v battery.and above. At that level even with a 100A BMS that's an incredible amount of power.
morikee: I swear EMS always put on ridiculous custom charges on any Package last time i receive a flash drive from France it comes via EMS and i have to pay for custom charges to make it worse it takes 3 months to reach here and na Paid shipping
Charley2020: Does anyone know why ecoflow is so expensive compared to buying your batteries and inverter separately? Do they have better batteries than the popular lithium battery brands or are they just expensive because they're a USA company?
Capitalism
Capitalism.
It's a US product.
No cheap product from the US.
LABOUR is expensive and also manufacturer gotta make bank.
That apart, I don't see any other reason their products are pricey.
Encitee3991: Please Guys, avoid as much as possible canceling a paid order on AliExpress. Our traditional banks are rip off. I ordered something recently on AliExpress and had to cancel it before it was shipped. Exchange rate for UBA at ₦1586/$ at the time I paid. On getting the refund after about 2 weeks of order cancelation, it was refunded at ₦1535/$.
Thank God it's a small amount order.
Una wey dey use Nigerian naira cards for international $ purchase, instead of virtual cards, dey try. Can't deal with their BS.
Ofejiro20: thanks boss but I already have a charge controller. Having an hybrid inverter would mean that my charge controller will no longer be useful
You can use a hybrid inverter WITHOUT using its charge controller function. That is, if you are bent on not using it, maybe due to the PV reconfiguration required.
Tickles001: I want to buy random things from AliExpress. Most of them has high shipping cost, while a few are free. Is there a way I can lump everything to be shipped together and reduce shipping cost? Or any better suggestions to cut cost.
Buy things with "Choice" tag. They'll lump them together and ship to you. Choice packages have free shipping.
Macmilla: I've never received any order through EMS. Do they even still exist? Why are the the worst?
Most orders from Europe, UK and the US via post office usually comes through them.
They are the worst because most packages through them usually comes with hefty custom duty.
I remember a lady leaving her fairly used baby clothes package sent to her from the US, to the EMS, and it happened to come via EMS when she couldn't pay the exorbitant custom duty of around ₦170k. This was around 2016.
My cousin bought a Xiaomi phone then, Xiaomi Note 3 or something. The custom duty was half the cost of the phone. She refuses to pick it from the EMS. They sent it back. She got her refund and bought it again. This time it came through normal post via NIPOST. Speedaf not a thing then. This was around 2017.
The last time I picked anything from the EMS was a package from Europe, a kinda flashdrive. I paid duty, can't remember how much.
Luckily, I have no business with the EMS these days.
1) Battery size and age 2) Motor size 3) Weight on ebike (the bigger the load on the ebike, the lower the range) 4) Terrain (hilly terrain drains batteries faster) 5) Type of riding (full electric or pedal assist mode)
That said, the type I got, different from what OP advertised, came with a 10AH 48V that was good for 25km on full electric and 30km on pedal assist.
I've long upgraded this battery to 30AH for crazier riding. E too sweet
Are there ebikes with range up to 200km? Yes, of course.
SaintUlot: How would you have solar installation in your house and you are still spending money to buy cooking gas and paying for fuel to transport yourself? That is an abomination, you are obviously shortchanging yourself, if you ain't optimising the immense benefit of your home solar installation.
Take your solar-powered lifestyle to the next level with this advanced electric bike, perfect for daily commutes and delivery businesses! This beast is FAST, keeping up with traffic effortlessly, covering a range of 200km on a single charge with a max speed of 57km/h.
Please if I discharge my battery till BMS shut down, how do I start it again? Will the inverter connected be able to wake it up and resume charging? Or I must use a separate dedicated lifepo4 charger?
Please how do I get it done? The bms of Haisic is limiting charge/float (27.2v/26.6v), and from the info you it was recommended to drain till bms shut down. Please how to I wake it up? Thanks for your reply
These things are automatic. Battery gets discharged, it goes off. Battery sees charge it comes on. No need for manual input to do either of them. Unless there is an issue.
Collione: The inverter is a Firman inverter 5kva 48v transformer based hybrid while the battery is lvtopsun 51.2v 200ah. I simply reset everything by turning off the inverter and battery for a few minutes then turning them back on again. Somehow it resolved the issue. I attached some images. The first is the battery reading from the inverter while the second is from the battery when fully charged. Is this normal
Oh, that's cool. Just like in a PC, a good restart may just be all that you need to fix some issue.
Collione: Good morning. My inverter just dey show me shege. Anytime I try to change a setting for example if I go into settings and want to change the charge priority or bulk charge value. The moment I change it, it shows an error the reverts the setting.i just changed to default. This means that I can't change anything. What do I do to solve this
Just to add some recommendations that could be helpful. You may want to add this to your query:
1) inverter make
2) inverter specification
3) Battery make or type and possible brand name
4) Image of the error/fault you got.
Gracias
Above, I guess, will help you get faster resolution to your issue.
