Mercy it's been released,I just reconfirmed . EPS dropped from 31kobo in 2019 to 25kobo in 2020.
I boarded the bus at Kilometer N5.20. Na make holy spirit come take steering we dey pray now o. grin
Amen. Holy Spirit is in control.
GSK dropped from around 7/8 to 4+, I think it suffered for the drop in EPS already, it will follow general/health care sector rally should any occur.

Lockdown in March when there was so much bullish talk about the sector. Fidson has dropped a good result in Half year 2020 , while GSK results was very flat.
GSK is yet to release result.........or maybe I missed the post.

No problem Baba your point is well noted. I don't just want us to get to that point where analysis of the gurus here cannot be questioned. Sorry if you find the portion in bold distasteful.
You've spoken well.
....but you know there are ways someone will question the analysis and it will look like an atta.ck and there are ways it will be done and it helps to be able to sieve the info, learn and get it right too.
I do not support the phrase "hero worship" as well.
If you deliver food to my table thru your research, analysis and predictions, you'll definitely earn my respect.......doesn't mean I'm worshiping you.
You would have seen the way people were/are asking after Currentprice, it's because he's doing something great and people are missing him too......to me, that does not translate to worship but great respect and admiration for him. Only GOD should be worshipped.
So also OGG, oga Oracle and other gurus who are invaluable to the forum.
Na my own be that. Make I stop there. grin

A lot of folks in this forum have short term mindsets, that's not a bad thing though (I am even guilty of it sometimes) but you're likely to get burnt more often.
The rise witnessed in WAPCO this week is just as a result of it's fine Q2 result.
Yes, WAPCO may have turned a corner, but the real reward still lies ahead.
ositadima1:
Plus some of OGGs analysis and predictions require time to manifest. Dat is why some people don't like fundamentals because it is slower, sometimes it can take a few years to finally come true. grin
I strongly agree with these statements and I think it summarizes issues with predictions to a large extent.
It reminds me of Currentprice's prediction of Vitafoam and Dangflour, two out of the many predictions.
I may not remember clearly cos I'm typing off-hand, but will still say it. grin
He predicted Vitafoam to reach N5, and long after that, Vitafoam was doing marabouts around N3 or so........but by the time it took off, the first bus stop was N4......then N5+........another prediction around 8 came thereafter and it's yet to get there.
With the way Vitafoam is delivering, it's just a matter of time for the prediction to come true.
Nsempas always have short term focus. Once there's a prediction they jump in, only to be disappointed when it doesn't manifest quickly.
It's true few 'may not' come true because some things may have happened along the way but I think we should still appreciate people going out of their way to research and post it freely here.....
Funny enough, very few will come out to appreciate the ogas when the prediction comes true and they make good profits from it.
It's well. smiley

Vitafoam is really doing well.
If not for market sentiment, it shouldn't be selling for less than 10 self.
Think CP gave it's fair price as N8 or so.......and this is like 2yrs ago if I still remember well.
By now, the fair value must have increase.

In my opinion and from the look of things, stock prices may not suffer too much again once results starts coming in.
Seems Mr. Market is already pricing-in the covid effect.

I am expecting a good result from fbnh. Its one of those stocks(like wapco) that's tried so hard to come out of the mess of previous managements. They have already started coming out of the woods but the only concern is the impact of the covid 19. I just pray with the impact of covid, they don't return to the days of huge NPLs. Fingers are crossed.
FBNH should perform well.
To me, the huge volumes in the past few weeks is a pointer to something better.
I just hope the result won't delay........because the more it delay, the more people will be skeptical about it, and this may affect the share price -vely along the way.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):
Well said @Coolcash1
You corroborated my post with more in-depth explanation of the state of things with Seplat.
However, Total also operates in the upstream sector but I think the upstream aspect is independent of the downstream, which was listed on NSE. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Seplat is big and, at sub 300, it's is a bargain to whosoever pick it.......barring any unforeseen circumstance.

Caveat: Not any form of advice or MH.
Mr. Market has a mind of its own.

U are not wrong...
But one just got to have a lots of patience ...
while holding Seplat...
Seplat is definitely not for the impatient ones, it's mostly for value/dividend investors.
It doesn't fall anyhow like that.......and once it falls, it always have a way of finding its feet back........one way or the other.
Except there's a major bad hit, I don't see it in the league of Total and Mobil (I mean the listed downstream arm)..........but in the league of ExxonMobil et all.
This is just my opinion based on my observation and little knowledge of the stuffs upstream coys are made of.
I may still be wrong. I get better ogas and gurus who are much knowledgeable here. It's just my amateurish opinion. grin

Please where do you see the next support for FBN?
Hope they won't stone me here. grin
You should have asked during trading hours so I can check this.
I hope Fbnh will release result on time, and not just result......but a good one, so that the current support can hold........if not we should be looking at range 4.65/4.50 as next support.
This is just my opinion.

That's Zee for you.
Traditionally self, price normally starts falling once dividend is declared before it will pick up again. Na one somehow stock. Lol.
Not saying this is always the case o......just saying generally.
........but with GTB going up and if it stays up, we should expect Zee to also rally.

Hello, for the interim dividend, does closure of register before final date also apply?
Yes. Same process.
Why not pursue GTB once and for all and be done with? Some registrars are easy to deal with than others.
Just ensure you don't sell all your units to avoid possible repeat.......don't sell all, always leave about 10 or more units in your portfolio.

Yes JB may start recovering by mid next year when their bonus shares would have been priced in and cure for Covid 19 found

Before then a lot of water would have passed under the water and Mr. MARKET will be begging BARGAIN HUNTERS to buy at circa N9.
It's alright sir. Well noted.
