It's obvious fcmb will close at 1.95 and that will be 10% full bid.

Fidelity will close above 1.80 today and may go for full bid tomorrow.

Just focus and see things with your eyes.
FCMB closed 1.9
Fidelity: 1.80........some kobos to cover and overtake. Lol.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):
Zenith is really struggling at 16.60......
Could this be skepticism?

Updated: closed at 16.65....
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):
FCMB: 1.90....

Fidelity: Bids building up.......some heavy crossings today again.

Just focusing more on the duo....and GTB, the sector leader. Don't mind me. grin
I want to prove Loco wrong.....that fidelity will overtake fcmb ...... tongue lol.

Bargain hunters queued for Fidelity at sub 1.75......las las they will shift their goal posts to 1.80..... grin

UBA afraid to move......waiting for Access to lead the way first...... grin

Market looking up.
People should trade with caution cos there might likely be lots of ups and downs around this time.
Mr. Market dealing with each stock as they bring it.........meaning, Mr. market responding to each stock according to their results. It's my opinion pls. Lol.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 12:50pm On Jul 08, 2020
GTB arrived KM 22.
Zee lifting body small small.

Think this has to do with the expectation of interim dividend.

Fidelity: 31M bids vs. 4.8M offers
FCMB: did 1.81 already....

UBA, Fbnh, Access.....lifting body small small

OBAGADAFFI:
You are correct SHARE DILUTION will crash the price.
We see how far the crash can go, shebi Peter said below N10.........seems I'm interested in seeing how this will follow suit with previous share dilution/price crash.
In the meantime, let me carry my JB defense and step aside while watching and learning from the elders...... grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):
PETERiCHY:
Now watch how SHARE DILUTION will crash JULIUS BERGER to sub N10 before any MEANINGFUL CONSOLIDATION will take place..!
Peter did you factor in various other factors that played out in the crash of those stocks mentioned - guinness, wapco and CI leasing over the period of years in view (2017 to 2020)?

You can't just generalize like that. You need to consider the industry each belongs to and various other things.

JB is a toast of elites and deep pockets of Lagos Island......they have solid backing of men that matters in govt......etc.

Anyway, JB is on full bid...... I'm still watching.... tongue

Expect two or three banking stocks to go on full bid.
Just watch.......
Don't know why my mind still don't trust Mr. Market at this time........
Let's wait and see anyway......
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 11:49am On Jul 08, 2020
Loco, I can see GTB responding +vely ........slowly....
Bids outweighs offers in most of the banking stocks.....
Wapco full bid.....
JBerger ......up with 1.50k.....17.20 now.....

If it continues this free fall to Thursday, I may likely move the Fund for trading Jaiz to JB.
Lol.
JB is solid, cant do free fall like Peter's Guinness. To me, getting it cheaper at 15 or thereabout is a plus.

Technically, i knew it was heading south and touched support level @N14.90 (where yours truly picked some units) before bouncng back to close higher.

Again, i will advise to add some TA skills to your FA knowledge. It has really helped me a lot.
You're right but that technical aspect used to look like jargons to me. lipsrsealed
I tried learning but it's just not sinking. cheesy
Why don't you alert the house about the support anyway?

I thought JB reduced the dividend payment after declaration?
Yes. From 2.75 to 2 .......and they still issued the bonus shares in addition.
Declaration of profit warning?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 2:20pm On Jul 07, 2020
locodemy:
But they notified Nse and the investing public concerning the challenges they will encounter in the remaining session of the year.I remember that of Julius Berger too
When did JB issue warning? Wasn't aware of any.
The thing is, even if a coy issue a warning, does that automatically means they'll underperform?
I thought it's just a way to prepare shareholders mind for eventualities.....but people are always quick to run.
What if coy pretend, will they panic?

Mehn . I bought at predivident at 26. My aim was growth oo. No fund to average down!!
I don't think it's advisable to sell at current price. JB disappointed her shareholders cos me that I dont have self, I don't expect it to be trading less than 30........but this is Mr. Market for you.
Some illiquid stocks, such as JB are good for long termers.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 2:03pm On Jul 07, 2020
Krisuba:
Kai. Seriously bleeding. Will this ever stop or I should just sell at d loss??
JB wasnt expected to shed this much but like other good ones, it did.
Anyone entering JB bus is not expected to do so for short term.
My own advice:
Leave it. Don't sell. If you have extra fund buy more to average down your cost price.
Also keep abreast of news around it.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 1:19pm On Jul 07, 2020

Fidelity: Lots of transactions and crossings at 1.70.....

Fidelity as a bank has a stronger earning(top/bottom lines) than fcmb HOLDINGS.

Legacy pension acquired by fcmb last year has failed to boost fcmb earnings as expected.Fcmb acquiring Aiico pension this year is a good news which will allow fcmb price to rise on sentiments.Fcmb overtaking fidelity in earnings is another thing here..........
You just confirmed what I said too.
EOD. Let's see how the game plays out. tongue
I agreed on the sentiment aspect of fcmb anyway.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):

I don't think fidelity will overtake fcmb in this financial year but the recent changes in the board(the new chairman) may have an impact on the share price.I am waiting for that heavy cross deals that use to follow to have a new guage.
Why did you say so?
Fide will overtake fcmb.
........also, going by the recent plan to buy over AIICO pension arm, if it scale through, it will impact on their bottom line.
.....but let's wait and see anyway.
