Our [a]lmighty Caracter is here! I'm sure you know he's refering to the Yorubas. They can't deny Yorubas' tactical supremacy in this entity called Nigeria. His poorly veiled use of invectives elucidates further the ill-effect of his dependency on cheap steroidal supplements.

Politics / Re: The Economist 2015 Cover Is Filled With Cryptic Symbols And Dire Predictions by MDelgado(m): 7:53am On Apr 06, 2015
Ymodulus:
A few things that I noticed that were not mentioned in the article.

1. near David Cameron, there is a piggy bank flying. This brings to mind the common phrase, "when pigs fly." Does this mean that something will happen to the banking system that we once thought impossible? A world currency perhaps? I could be reaching.

2.. The painting is "La belle ferronnière" by Leonardo Da Vinci. It is sitting on a pile of dirt. It is in the Louvre in Paris. Perhaps this is hinting at the fall of Parisian culture, tradition, or influence. There is a lot going on with the radical Islamists in France. It may also be hinting at the fall of Western influence in general or perhaps the burying of the past for the sake of the future.

3. Most of the world leaders seem to be wearing red, pink, or purple, excepting the Chinese and Indian leaders. Does this mean that they will be influenced by China (red flag)?

4. Napoleon is featured. This painting is a famous portrait from Jacque-Louis David. It prominently features the hidden hand, which is talked about in another article on this site.

5. The Chinese officer in the back is wearing a dust mask and is directing traffic in Harbin, China in the midst of extreme smog caused by Chinese industry. This is indicative of the horrible pollution in China which is killing their people. The increase in Chinese power comes at the cost of Chinese citizens.

Finally, there are two disembodied hands on the left and the right. The left one is giving the victory sign (as opposed to peace) since it is near Winston Churchill. The right one has an open hand (possibly belonging to Hilary Clinton). With its proximity to Napoleon, perhaps it is the revealing of the hidden hand.

Thanks for explaining other signs..
Politics / Re: An Open Letter To Igbos By Rochas Okorocha by MDelgado(m): 9:51pm On Apr 05, 2015
Gasout:
A time of reflection for Igbos! - Okorocha speaks again.

Dear Igbo compatriots:
One of the closet Igbo man to the president elect is Dr Chris Ngige onwa, a senator who was defeated in the senatorial election.
See how bad Igbos are at strategizing? They couldn't override a pathological hatred for Gen. Buhari to make a hedge bet and return this man to the senate to enhances his chances at senate president in case Gen. Buhari wins, which he did.

Instead folks played tribal and religious politics to the tilt as drunken sailors, and failed the man and the chances to make history as senate president.
That's what happens when emotions trips common sense and folks succumb to hustlers like Arthur Eze, and peter Obi, hustlers after their own interest instead of the masses they pretend to serve.

I urged caution, I pledged that we were making a huge mistake to our wagon on Jonathan who wasn't going to win. And predictably he lost, so also our chance in the new administration.

I hate to gloat.
But maybe, maybe. Only maybe he gets a good ministerial appointment but nothing beats being a senate president. Igbos are very bad at politics. Fifty years after independence, we yet to produce a president when others have taken multiple turns.our answer? Blames others! Only if Hausas didn't do this or yorubas didn't do that, perhaps the god of politics will bless our lot.

And sadly it won't stop until we learn to coexist with others instead of our better than thou attitude when dealing with the Hausas and yorubas. We are not better than anyone, those folks we thumbs our noses at are God's creatures like us. We don't like the Hausas and we don't like the Yorubas, yet we populate their states in search for our livelihood.

Our politics should mirror our economic aspiration not the other way round. There is no wisdom in living in the north, earning a living, yet despise the northerners. That's being ungrateful. The gods of politics don't like that.

How long can this collective amnesia insulate us from meaningfully seating at the table, making contribution to Nigeria's political evolution?

How long can this foolishness go on? How long?

There is a miserable silence across the land today because we are realizing that we were sold off for pennies by pimps who parade as Igbos leaders.

Where they?

Are they at home?

Hmmm! I sincerely hope some people are listening?

Nairaland / General / Re: The Unwanton Attack On Barcanista! by MDelgado(m): 8:01am On Apr 01, 2015
barcanista:
It has now become a norm for a section of the Nairaland APC to abuse, libel and denigrate my humble self. Though such act is highly libellous and provocative, I will not be forced by whatever reasons to go on verbal exchange with anyone over that. I shall not be forced to act childishly neither will I denigrate myself and reputation to involve in exchanging words with anyone with respect to childish tantrums.

My defection to the PDP/GEJ camp has nothing to do with gratification or whatever, this I have said often times. The Presidential election have been won and lost. Though on the losing side, I have no reason to regret my defection. I congratulate the victorious APC Team on the enviable success at the poll.

I want to assure perpetrators of such inglorious act (and other form of cyber-bullying) that I shall not be wearied neither be silenced. I will not quit Nairaland any time soon. I shall be here to comment on issues and policies of the incoming administration of General Buhari. As a compatriot, I appeal to perpetrators to stop such act, but be more focus on the task ahead of delivering democratic dividends to Nigerians irrespective of political divide. I want to assume that being the (incoming) party in power, the NL APC supporters will show maturity, be democratic and lead the change they preach.

Once again, Congratulations to all Nairaland APC... May God spare our lives to witness the incoming government.

God bless you Sir,

I don't know sha but the calibre of her orgasm can be an indicator. And, also how the woman move in the act can be an indicator, her expression to pain and body movement may give her away if the guy is paying attention.

There's still this tensed atmosphere when one want to have sex with a virgin, the look on her face can also be an indicator but I repeat only if the guy is paying attention to detail. However, no prediction can be accurate.

This should be bad news to virgin hunters, not myself.

Paying attention during the act??hehe

I'm not a fvcking average nigerian.

No one has the rights to barge into my room and disrespect me and still expect an apology. Am I apologizing that you barged into my room, or am I apologizing for your own mistake - for not realizing that I have been at the fore front of people seeking a solution to the problem?

Fvck you and your _stupid simple minded pvssy whipped opinions.

I give respect to whoever deserves it.

Tell me how she wasn't wrong. Where was her _stupid ass when the other meetings were going on? Oh, because she's a lady, she should dish out bullshit, and I accept that? Fvck that _shit!

Someone needed to make up, someone needed to act maturely, and nigga, someone fvcking needed to learn from her cretinous mistake! How do you learn from a mistake if I pamper you, in the guise of being a gentleman? Respect is reciprocal, dipshit!

Fvck your self awareness and consideration. You are the average sissified nigerian man. You worship women because you are too fvcking dumb to be blunt when you are supposed to. There's a difference between a push over and a gentleman. Push overs are idiots! A gentle man knows when to be a man, when to be blunt, and more importantly, he knows what respect is all about.

TV/Movies / Re: Television Politics: Five Years Later DSTV Is Still Yet To Launch Igbo Channel by MDelgado(m): 4:33pm On Mar 09, 2015
deeplow:
No disrespect to the igbos. I love igbos. Truth be told, there aren't enough content to air. There is an igbo channel on startimes, and they barely have anything interesting to put on, and it is characterised by repititions. If dstv were to eventually open an Ndigbo channel, I am sure even igbos will get bored after a while.

Popular Igbo Nollywood actors have to forget all the pure English movies they act in. Promote their culture to the world. Most Indian actors speak good English, but they still stick to their language in movies, and theybare respected everywhere. Every week, at least 15 yoruba movies are released, Even though half of them are nonsense, it still gives room for options. Igbos should release as many as possible too.

I would be glad, if they can work on this, and produce plenty many Igbo movies. Maybe from there, I will learn enough Igbo to woo Chinweizu(my life long crush).

I will follow you because you have spoken nothing but the truth..

I would like to know what you guys think about the names given to us,Is your name working for you or against you? And stereotyping of some names too, some people are quick to pass judgment on some names because of what one figure did, some people believe Solomon and deborah for example gossip a lot many people are not so enlightened as to not make negative connections..I have a friend he had to change his name from Judas to jude because of negative associations because of what Judas did to Jesus in the bible...Does it really matter..? Share your name and tell us what you think of your name..

Twaci:
Hello Mother.

Well I know it sounds strange and impossible, but its true. It is me and I am writing to you. How are you? And my grandparents? Is my little aunty, Lily, still ill? Don't be surprised I know all about them, I can actually hear a whole lot from here and really can't wait to join you all out there.

I know you also wonder what it feels like in here. Well, its actually warm, dark and slimy, very slimy, but I like it here. It is quite cozy and comfortable.

Mum, as much as I would love to discuss more about your environs and mine, there are far greater issues we need to talk about.

First of all, I overheard the discussions you had with my father and I am aware he denies and hates my existence. I am also aware of the fact that he no longer wants you because of me and that he has left town (probably because of me too).

I do not know what wrong I have done to him or why he hates me that much. I don't even really know him, neither does he, so why? Why deny me? Why did he leave town? Why did he hit you when you told him about me?

Mum, I guess I should let you know that every action carried out by your body affects me. Your cries did, so did your sleepless nights. I too lay awake, wishing I could touch you, comfort you and tell you that it is all going to be fine. That you don't really need him cause I would love you even more than he did and stand by you no matter what.

Secondly Mum, I also know about the visit to Doctor John. I heard everything. I know I don't really know much about the "grin and C" the doctor kept repeating, but your insistent laments and cries of, "I don't want this child", said it all. You don't want me too. You probably hate and despise me. But why? What have I done? Am I evil? Am I really that much of a curse?

Mummy, I don't know what I will be, a male or female, but I can assure you that I will be good. I will try as much as everything to make you happy, to put a never-ending smile on your face, to give you all the love you need and deserve. Just give me a chance. Please Mum, don't hate me, do not tear me away from you, please do not go to that doctor's place next week Tuesday! Don't end it all even before I have begun. Mum, I don't want to die.

Well, your happiness matters to me and if after all I have said you still decide to go to Doctor John's, I won't hate you for it. I will understand it's something you really needed to do, I won't fight it. Just know that I love u very much and would have loved to be with you, to grow up with you, to take care of you, to touch you, to take walks with you, to see you smile, to listen to your lullaby, to feel your never-ending kisses on my forehead....

I love you mummy. Give me a chance to prove it. I will have to say goodbye for now but hope not forever. Love you. Baby kisses.

Yours lovingly,
Your unborn child.

Nice one Twaci!
