I just wish our eastern governors will quit noise and emulate "more work less talk" approach style of leadership.

Honestly, it's painful seeing how evil and wicked some Nigerians can be to fellow Nigerians..

NNPC that changed to NNPCL started just like Saudi Aramco and likes who are doing excellently well in the business of Petroleum refining. I don't know why we can't just do things right in this country, a wealthy nation brought to her knees by a corrupt few who want to amass wealth they won't take with them when they die. Fake pastors and imams everywhere looking away while things rot, everyone is fighting for their own selfish interest.

Dangote dey where he dey.. we are still hoping to see products from his refinery by September cos July don almost end. We have Waltersmith Petroman and a few others (smaller scale refineries tho.), dunno why they are not that visible.
Corruption will take a long time to go, that is if we are ready to enforce a strong institution over strong political personalities and tribal sentiments. If the institution become strong, then gradually corrupt individuals will cave in, but that is more like a dream in the context of present realities. If the these corrupt entities can overwhelm Buhari, I don't think Tinubu stands a chance.
However, to soften the burden on the masses, the President should look more into getting our refineries working. Give in to modular refineries, by issuing more license to qualified business entities. The few operating are not enough. This will collapse the price as competition is ushered in.
If you use government power to import, you will still buy in dollars, and that will eventually affects pricing.
Every Nigerian has to see the fight against corruption as a patriotic call, else we are going no where. But first, we must kill the tribal and religion monster that keeps the nation divided.

I've been brainstorming on this oil sector issue for Nigeria for nearly a decade now. Truth is the past leaders didn't do much and the cabals (even within government) are complicit in making our refineries moribund and non-functional cos their men outside government are the ones doing the importation of petroleum products.

Once FG brings in the product for marketers to buy from FG in Nigeria here.. then let's see the mad marketer that will fix price to kill Nigerians.
If you know what they are appropriating to NNPC in yearly budget for turnaround maintenance of refineries for over 2 decades now, you'll cry. Money wasted, no result, nothing.
This is why he is the president. He has to do something, otherwise suffering may lead to popular revolt. Nigeria has been a cesspit of corruption, no doubt, but we need solution, whether long or short term solution. If it means getting one or two refineries working by any means and using it to drop price. By the way, what is the update with Dangote's refinery?
If FG handles importation, don't you think the same elements of corruption will still play out? Besides, importation means buying in dollars, which will definitely affects pricing. So getting our refineries working is the best solution for me.

Your beloved Obi would have been the worst.. someone that can't say something and stand by it can't rule Nigeria.

I have said it that the President should take away license to import petroleum products from so called marketers and use the Federal Government Ministries specially created Departments to handle fuel importation. Forget that useless organization called NNPCL

All those Federal Directors and Perm Secs should answer call to service and quickly assemble competent hands. DSS should start killing anybody that interferes in the process of fuel importation going forward. Too many greedy bastards are in this country called Nigeria that deserve to die.
Take a step and re read what you just posted. Tell me what makes you different from a dictator? Nigeria is a Capitalist state and not a Communist enterprise. If your president was really prepared for governance, he would have made sure our refineries are working before messing up with subsidies. Well, na you tribe's man, so he can never be wrong.

There is nothing like manipulation, Simon Ekpa is nothing but a psychotic fellow who have provided a platform for the riff-raffs of various communities to become "freedoms fighters".

Check the individual profiles of his foot soldiers who harass with their guns, overwhelming majority of them are never do wells who he easily brainwashed.

Anyone who claims to be leading a cause but stays afar, is a COWARD who is busy enjoying the daily life of organized society'

All those so called freedom fighters, liberators are dictators in waiting and would do worse when they eventually grab power as the likes of Mugabe, Museveni, Kigame etc have proven.

I neither love Kanu nor Ekpa as they don't represent my aspiration as an igbo.
My brother, those two are the worst thing that has happened to Igbos in the last one decade. They neither brought in development nor any advancement in the Igbo region, but death and sorrow. They have made other Nigerians to hate and become suspicious of the average Igbo. Even if you want to secede, why not borrow the Azikiwe template, by applying intellectual and diplomatic method to secede.
After all , it is the same Nigerian government that allowed Southern Cameroun to secede.
Those two are nemesis to ndi Igbo, but fools will keep supporting them. They have ended up restricting Igboland to the south east, while leaving out chunks of our people in other region, with their stupid sit at home. Fools. angry

Wise up igbos, same people that made us believe that kanu was the devil behind all insecurities in Nigeria then are the same people that want us to believe that simon ekpa is the devil today.

If simon ekpa was the reason for insecurities in the east today then who's the cause of insecurity in other part of the country?why are they not giving much attention to the killings in benue and co but are more interested in sit at home in the east?

Why are the south east politicians only interested on how to solve the sit at home instead of how to stop insecurities and how to bring more development in the east?

The truth is that they really don't care about us,if they want peace to reign in the east they knew the cause of the insecurity in the first place and what to do to stop it.

Simon ekpa seems to be the only person genuinely fighting for biafra and the release of kanu,so they believe that silencing him will automatically put an end to the struggle,so they are deploying every means to paint him bad so as to turn the people against him.

All these governor's and politicians asking for the release of kanu how many times have they visited kanu In detention.?

You can't be asking for calm in the east and at the same time deploying troops in the east, the operation python dance didn't record much success what make you think that deploying troops in an already volatile area will bring peace?

If there is no sit at home today in the east do you think any of these SE politicians will be talking about kanu today? The answer is no,
If you love kanu and hate ekpa then you need to sit and think.

All the criminal elements stealing and abducting people in the east should be eliminated, but we won't condone the killing of biafran agitators in the name of maintaining peace
Simon Ekpa is destroying Igboland with his strategies. Even Nnamdi Kanu will not be dumb and stupid as he is. How can you be killing people you claim you want to liberate. There is what is called diplomacy. use it and get Kanu out of jail, not by attacking and killing fellow Igbos.

The Lagos State govt and Yoruba nation should not sleep on the latest threat by IPOB to extend their sit-at-home madness to Lagos

Already, IPOB terrorists are very active in and around the Bakassi Peninsula with deadly attacks on oil installations. They are also active around the Akpabuyo remote areas of Calabar town and have significant presence in the Ikom border areas with Cameroon .

IPOB has found out that there is nothing they can use to leverage against the Federal govt from within the SE region. Although pocket attacks in Imo targeting oil installations were recorded , the FG is unmoved by their antics .

Killing their fellow Ibo has not gotten the federal govt sympathy or anger. Attacks on security personnel has only succeeded in setting a Pavlovian response where with each attack by IPOB, the Nigerian security applies the hammer a hundred folds.

The narcissistic leadership in IPOB is desperate to draw attention to their movement from the federal govt and the larger world and no where else but Lagos outside the Niger Delta remains a good stage to showcase their autism.

My suggestion to Lagos state is that if any of the Ibo dominated markets decide to obey the proposed 2-werk sit at home in Lagos, the LASG has it within her constituted authority to treat the leadership of such erring markets as enablers of terrorism and should be arrested and arraigned in court.

Also, any erring market should be shut down and the owners of the shops evacuated for more serious minded business people.

They should not practice their terrorism protest at the detriment of Lagos economy and well being

Allowing them even the slightest right to do such will see to IPOB terrorists coming down to Lagos to enforce any future directive ordered by the IPOB leadership.

You really do not have sense at all. You are just a roaming lunatics possessed with mad Igbo hate. Do you even understand what that poster said? you don't and thus driven by mad hate be spewing rubbish here without break. Take a rest bro.

It's only the igboman that believes in his own lies and tells it to the world as a truth but the world knows it's a lie. There's a different between assembling and manufacturing. Assembling involves bringing parts already manufactured together. It involves welding, bolting, and coupling etc. Manufacturing on the other hand involves producing parts from their primitive forms like pressing, forging, designing, using molten metal to form parts with the different types of casting methods etc.
You guys can deceive the gullibles but know this: so long as you don't use molten metal, forge or use the press, you dey joke.
Bro, I 'm a software developer, and I can tell you few things that is prevalent in the industry. When building a project, in most cases, we use frameworks. These are pieces of assembled codes, designed by top engineering firms, that can be used to create custom based software for user consumption, e.g Laravel, Angular, ASP.NET, CodeIgniter, Django, etc.
Imagine a scenario you are building an Application for a client, let's say an Accounting Platform, do you have to reinvent the wheel by building from scratch? I mean the entire software circle? You can easily pick a Framework, extend, and build a standard software for your client. This of course requires engineering knowledge and skill.
Note, this depends on the size of the company and budget at it's disposal. Which means you can build from scratch, but the question is why?

I believe this is also obtainable in the auto industry. Companies leverage on already designed components to build vehicles. You don't have to start building everything from scratch na. I have seen a company in Port Harcourt that refurbish Crankshaft and fix sleeves on Engine Blocks. That's more like a local Engineering Process o.
Therefore Innoson can be categorize as a Vehicle Manufacturing Plant, since most of the parts are designed and fabricated in house, with some outsourced to professional engineering firms to handle.
It is very wrong, if not diabolical to start running down a man's effort simply because he is from the Igbo tribe. If Innoson is not Igbo, I'm sure you will definitely applaud his effort. Don't forget, Innoson, regardless is still a Nigerian by all standard.

25% oil derivative to oil producing states. Wabarra shamelessly stated it won't favour his region . All SE Senators opposed it and hid under Obasanjo's third term bill to reject all executive bills sent to the Senate for deliberation by the outgoing Obasanjo govt.

Offshore / Onshore dichotomy debate which SE legislators stood with the north to deny oil and gas producing states 13% derrivarive that Yaradua was able to broker after Obasanjo's 25% proposal was jettisoned by the north and SE. States like Akwa Ibom will be wallowing in squalid poverty if the Supreme Court did not rule in their favour since all oil deerivarives they get comes from offshore wells.

PIB that was so bastardized and watered down that all states in Nigeria can now be declared oil producing state by mere fuel depot or pipeline passing through it. Your legislators either supported the watered down bill redrafted by northern hawks led by the Sultan of Sokoto or absented themselves on the day it was supposed to be rejected . This led to the bill becoming law.

Now mention one Ibo who has demanded we return back to true federalism?

And you're right. You need to make yourself useful to your people for once by deploying equal energy to that which you exert in your constant bleating of Igbo this, Igbo that, to highlight the near genocide of your people in the middle belt region to the world.

Has Igbo ever proven to not possess the capacity to solve its problem?. Are Fulani ravaging and riding roughshod on Igbo as they do your long-suffering people in Benue and the length and breadth of the middle belt?. Will they ever dare?.

Why are you a useless hypocrite, and utterly useless to your own people?. Have some self-dignity and make yourself useful to those of your kin and kits who have no voice. You must not waste the talent given to you in pursuit of parochial and self-aggrandizing, mischievously selfish goals. That makes you a traitor to your people. A Sabo!.

Now listen. Nigeria, and precisely Fulani, got us to where we are. They will release Nnamdi Kanu, or Nigeria will continue to pay for the arrogance of impunity. Yes, Igbo will sacrifice as we continue to grind through that very painful but absolutely necessary sacrificial process. But this is one of the many reasons Igbo will never be beholden or enslaved by anyone like they are doing to your people and Yoruba on their own doorstep.
