All his economic policies so far has been disastrous, from subsidy removal, without carefully creating a fallback, to floating of the naira.
It seems Nigerians has to brace up for more economic hardship.

One thing I'm surprised most people continue to dodge is the fact that Igbos don't want themselves as part of this so called Republic and would rather prefer an all Igbo Republic consisting of Igbos in Southeast and South-south. I really don't understand why other ethnic groups are scared of Igbo unity whereas Igbos wish everyone well. Igbos have never dragged Ibibioland, Ogoniland, Ijawland, Urhoboland, Edoland, Esanland, Igalaland, Idomaland and all our neighbours lands but propaganda being peddled says otherwise. I am half Imo State and half Rivers State so I understand the politics very well
Nigerian politics is solidly built on anti Igbo propaganda. Bulk of the oil and gas in Rivers and Delta States are located in Igbo speaking areas. You want Nigeria to cede those areas for Igbos and slipped off from their free oil money? They will rather sponsor another war to decimate Igboland further. This is why we need to be careful and work towards our unity with tact and sage minds.

Dave is did well in infrastructure with little resources. My only grouse with him is his style of politics. Dave Umahi is a direct replica of Wike of Rivers State, albeit the quiet type. Wike is loud and aggressive, Dave is silent but still aggressive. They don't tolerate opposition, that makes him no different from the usual Nigerian politicians. Thy are all the same.

Your land is ravaged by oil spills, that is something worth fighting for but no you choose to lick the ass of your slave masters up north to get security contract for something that belongs to you. Shame on you, tueh

Stay there and be arguing about whether Ngozi is Igbo or Ikwere while the north destroy your land via the oil companies. And before you cap nonsense...I served in rivers state and I saw firsthand the damage there.

Ika is Igbo, supported both by history, language and culture. Few among them claim Bini origin, but there is a recent awakening on their Igbo consciousness

You are spot on this your observation, once there's an inconvenience for the others, the Igbos must be blamed. And when the same Igbos ask to be exited from this toxic marriage that none of the partners initiated but was forced down our throats, then they are the trouble makers.

In all my existence, I've never heard of Hausa Kano, Bauchi Fulani or Taraba Tiv, if the Tiv man is from Taraba, Benue or Nassarawa, he's simply accepted as Tiv. But the Igbo man in Rivers, Delta, Kogi or Benue, isn't Igbo, until there's a need to classify them as one.

Chukwuma Nzeogwu carried out an "Igbo coup", but then no other coup was ever classified Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani or even classified by region as Middle belt coup, northerners or Westerners coup. Same Chukwuma Nzeogwu's kinsmen aren't regarded as Igbo, but when there's a reason to trade blames, they suddenly become Igbos.

We shall overcome, it'll only take time, but come what may, there's gonna be a change someday. If slavery and apartheid could see an end, then there's definitely going to come a day, the Igbo man will be truly free and liberated.
There is a recent awakening among ndi Anioma that is motivating. One Kaniebi on Facebook, an Ika guy is doing a great job. Igbos will be united in peace by the grace of God.

Does Nigeria have enemies? Sure, Nigeria has enemies. That's one of the reasons why we have a very big defence budget. Every countries in the world does same.

Our enemies are both internal and external. One good example of our external enemies are those countries and individuals who sponsor terrorism.

Nigeria has internal enemies too. These are individuals who attempt to frustrate the sitting government and their policies. This category of internal enemies sees nothing good about any government of the day. Every Nigeria president have had their fair share of dealings with internal enemies.

There are internal enemies of the PBAT administration with dissenting voices over the cyberspace. These people peddle fake news just like during the Buhari era and engage in campaign of calumny to discredit and distract the sitting government.

Most of these people come from a region of the country whose derogatory and abusive nature is not new to Nigerians. These people love to read and hear bad news about Nigeria and her people. A few from other regions of the country who cannot see beyond their noses too joined the abusive train. They abuse the hell of their leaders and call them unprintable names they cannot call their fathers. These are internal enemies of Nigeria. Imagine a fellow country man calling his country "A ZOO."

Even when the policies of the government is appreciated with it's workability, these children of hate will never see anything good and appreciative. They believe Nigeria is gone to the dogs.

Every nation has her teething challenges which are not insurmountable. Our internal enemies will always create an impression of under performance and resort to cheap blackmail.

The opposition are not exempted in the list of the enemies of Nigeria. They are ever ready to blackmail our leaders and paint a negative image of our dear country to the outside world. Some of these losers who display bad sportsmanship have constituted themselves into a gangster bent on making Nigeria unworkable. Their gullible slowpoke followers cannot justify their unguarded backlashes and retrogressive actions inimical to the smooth running of our country. They can be likened to the Almajiris in the North. The real meaning of ' Almajiri' is a disciple.

The present administration is running an all inclusive government premised on a tripod of credibility, competence and delivery. This has been demonstrated in the cabinet formation.

The enemies of Nigeria are too hasty and impatient. These people want the sitting president to use his magic wand to perform an overnight healing for an ailing economy. They refused to understand that healing is a process.

It is time that all Nigerians irrespective of their religious and ethnic differences come together and support this government to succeed. Nigeria shall be great again and that's a sure bet. We have all it takes to make Nigeria workable.

I pray that the internal enemies who are worse than the external ones will have a rethink and wish this administration a successful tenure. The prosperity of Nigeria is a prosperity to all.
As usual, the blame game has started. This time around, it is one particular region these incompetent fellows with zero leadership skill will focus on. Campaign is over bro, focus on governance. All these rubbish you typed here will not improve the economy or help your paymasters make better economic decisions. Anu mpam

starstaz:
Look at the excuses:::

• fuel would continue to increase as long as the US Dollar rose in the foreign exchange market.

• Market forces as the primary determinant of prices

There are problems with the middle classes of this country for the following reasons

>> The numerous expert on petroleum economics and engineers are not with their thinking cap for various obvious reasons and suffice to says what is the value of our higher education if we can't solve common life problem issues threatening our existence

>> The few specialize university based petroleum too have not covered themselves in glory rather advocacy should go into de-funding them if they cannot be scrapped for peculiar reasons

>> The crude is here in abundance, so also the vast gas resources yet laziness as allowed us to sleep it off and consign it to Dollar forces and international forces. No local value thinking process again. Suffering and smiling in the midst of plenty. Selling ram to the world and eating bone at home

>> This brings the thought process that goes into destruction of local refinery to question ( are we daft). Nobody is thinking of value addition. Nobody is thinking of capacity building for local refinery or Legalization of illegal refinery.

>> The middle class will have to decide whether to live an honorable Life or die a miserable death in the hands of the Holocaust leadership that is headed by Tinubu, NNPC and the National assembly. Giving another 100yrs, this set of political leadership will not resuscitate our moribund refinery and evidence are abounds to this claim and neither should we be surprised if dollar exchange to naira by 2000 or 10000 anymore with consequential adjustment in the price of petrol.

The biggest solution now is to organize ourselves as expert and technicians and demands for ownership of these illegal refineries and upscaling it to it's full Legalization that can receive crude from NNPC and process it for local consumption without interference from Dollars scrimmages. Make we just avoid Dangote, Tinubu or NNPC and carry our future on our heads. Not doing this now as an urgent intervention, this house we neglected may crash unabashedly on our heads .
This is exactly what Peter Obi said he will do, giving license to modular refineries before removing subsidy. If only they can get refineries working, and cut off fuel import to like 50 percent, this will not be happening.
