PoliticsRe: Igbos & Yorubas: Put An End To This Ugly Trend End! by mdimefields: 5:37pm On Jun 27, 2023
seeme2:
My opinions are derivative of a clear worldview. They are consistent, conscientious, until maybe I get a better viewpoint and adopt it.

I am hardly on the side of African Americans or even migrants. I hate it when Nigerians argue that America is a migrant nation. This was since 2016, that the bile of Lagos tribalism or anti-tribalism was totally unknown to me. And I supported GEJ, never seeing any wrong in him except in the hindsight.

Igbo attack on the values and aspirations of the Yoruba is no longer tenable. Let there be respect from both sides. Are you aware many Igbos vote down Yoruba artist in the global arena, and even organise to attack their work? Yes it is true. If it is not okay to disparage the Igbo, it should be wrong to do thesame to the Yoruba. Yoruba bully others, and there are evidence of physical assault during the last election, however, organised sabotage, using WhatsApp groups, is another level of hate that should be addressed.

Let this ugly trend end.
Can you people just leave Igbos alone? You have made it clear, both through the media and your government policies you don't want Igbos in your region, and we are gradually heading to the call to leave your region, and hopefully some day, the entire country, yet una no go rest. You are the most attacking Igbos who support Igbos relocating their businesses to the East here. If I lie, go through thread Soludo advocates for Igbo businessmen investing in Anambra state, and observe the opposing voices. Na your people. Why una dey like this?
Are you guys actually looking for a way to start a war with Igbos?
This obsession is not looking funny anymore. This is the brand of rabid hate Hitler had over the Jews before he went on his killing spree. If you hate Igbos this much and don't want anything to do with them, Tinubu is your man, and your fellow tribe's man, mount pressure on him to push the bill for regionalism or complete expulsion of the Igbo tribe from Nigeria, so peace can reign.
This noise is getting too much and annoying at the same time. Every time Igbo Igbo Igbo, wetin! No day on nairaland that a Yoruba folk don't open a thread on Igbo. You have the presidency, you have had it more than once, and a lot going for you, why the obsession on Igbos? Wetin we do una?
I will advice you to urge your political leaders to work toward expelling the Igbos out of Nigeria, so we go fit drink water drop cup. It will be a win win for us all. Make Igbo hate no choke you to death o.

Is there any country in the world where certain people from the same country are told to go to their region?

Why can't they clearly come out and ask that referendum be added to the constitution so they can leave the country...and then make their own laws to ask certain people not to come to their country?
For peace to reign and the insult to stop, it is good we heed the call for aku ruo uno. It is not a bad idea. Naturally I consider it the best way to achieve mutual respect and co existence.

I personally advocate for peace, but should the need arise, I'm ever committed to pick up arms and fight. I will never allow what happened to my fathers befall me. I will fight and defend myself against any bastard that wants to attack me simply because I'm Igbo. It is my right, and the right of every living Igbo. Self defense is never a crime.
There are millions of my kind that are ready to defend the motherland should the need arise. But in all, Igbos should leave the south west region. It is in your best interest. limit your investment there. move your business to the east and other region that don't consider your presence a threat. Move to friendly business environment

They used Endsars to deceive Nnamdi Kanu and messed up his movement. See Sowore, see FFK, those were the tools used to messed up Kanu's movement. The moment Kanu deviated to join Nigerian revolution that resulted to ESN, that was when he lost it. The world was already paying attention, but not anymore.
FFK sold the useless idea of Jibril E'l Sudani to Kanu.
Sowore sold the idea of Nigerian revolution to him.
The endsars was an opportunity that messed up everything.

Yes, Igbos are the problem, because they have been in power since 1966 and making policies that directly affects you as a Nigerian.
In fact since 1999, at the return of democracy, Igbos hijack power, both executive, legislature, Judiciary, the military, and even your state government, and then start creating problem up and down. Igbos are really the problem with Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Ndigbo Should Ignore Asari Dokubo by mdimefields(op): 10:39am On Jun 23, 2023
Anti Igbo sentiment is like an opium to the average Nigerian. It is like a stimulant they crave. Watch how anti Igbo sentiment will keep getting intense, fueled by propaganda from a certain group. One of the objective is to divert attention from governance or policies that directly affects Nigerian.
Everybody will be shouting Igbo Igbo Igbo, while things keeps getting worst, and inflation spiking out of the roof.
One way to divert attention is push anti Igbo news, videos and anything to sway public opinion.
Don't fall for their trap.
PoliticsNdigbo Should Ignore Asari Dokubo by mdimefields(op): 10:36am On Jun 23, 2023
Nigerian political scene is really interesting. Not quiet long, Asari Dokubo accused the military of oil theft in the Niger Delta before the entire world, using a press conference, in a venue that is exclusively reserved for the Commander in Chief. Regardless the weak rebuttal from both the Army and Navy, one will not expect everything to just go down without some show of drama.
Less than three days later, a video of Asari Dokubo brandishing a weapon and threatening to wipe out the Igbo nation surfaced online. Take a moment and observe the timing. That video was done last year, during the heat of the electoral campaign, last year. Check the date and verify. Why did it suddenly resurfaced online again? Why Now? what is the purpose?
It's simple, to stoke up ethnic tension, using the Igbo as a smoke screen, while they strike from behind.
This is my personal deduction to the whole charade. There could be some very aggrieved fellows who could be angling for vengeance, but wouldn't want to do so because of the consequences or possible backlash. Remember, Asari has Presidential backing now. He is 100 percent backed by the government. Watch that his press conference again, observe the insignia behind him, it was a complete authorized and signed by the powers, press conference.
So, these individuals knowing if they strike, all fingers will be pointed at them, had to activate plan B by resurfacing an old video and trending it again. Once the Igbos are roped in a feud with Asari, then they can strike, without trace, and then all eyes will be on Igbos. Remember how they eliminated Adaka Boro, then pin it on Biafrans. Till date, the average Ijawman believes Adaka Boro was killed by Igbos.
My suggestion to Igbos, please, Ignore Asari Dokubo. Let him rant on. Don't get yourself embroiled in a battle planned and prepared by your enemies. Whoever that is trending that video is an enemy to ndi Igbo. This is the reality. Whatever that will obliterate ndi Igbo and make them more hated is a living sacrifice to this people. They love it and desire it so much.
We should be smart to avoid unnecessary baiting. Sometimes, we act like we are deaf, just to stay focus. The objective is the Tribunal.
As for Asari, his time will come. Any man that plays god on earth always have his time. Nebuchadnezzar, Hitler, Mussolini, Napoleon, etc, were men that played god, but when the heavens remembered them, their judgment was swift and precise. Let him keep insulting Igbos and claiming super man , when his time comes, he will go like a mere mortal that he is, the sure way of every human on this planet. Leave him to nature, so it takes it's course.
Igbos, avoid online banter. It is for our own good.

I watched here in amazement, when a particular moniker, who I'm sure may not be Igbo, spread the "Lagos is no Man's Land" propaganda and it caught up on other forums, including Twitter. This was after the Peter Obi defeated P. Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos.
If you watch how that propaganda started and blew out of proportion, you will know it was deliberate, and done on purpose to stoke ethnic sentiment in order to defeat the Labor Party in the up coming gubernatorial election. It worked perfectly well, and it's also working to push Igbos out of Lagos. Anyway, all things work for good...
I'm not a party affiliate, but just a concerned citizen. Take note.
Ethnic politics blinds one from good governance, because everything is seen from the prism of ethnicity. You may call it calculative politics but you cannot divorce nepotism from underdevelopment and corruption in the long run.
Ethnic politics brought Europe down to her knees when Hitler and his gangs hijacked the German Furer and pushed for Aryan supremacy. As it is, if we are not careful, we are practically towing that part, where policies will be made to suppress an ethnic group, regardless the overall effect on the entire country. If I may ask, can't we just sit down like civil humans and define our boundaries plus sovereignty?

Now back to the main talk, the recent scenario playing out is the appointment of Service Chiefs. Ogala, who happened to be from Enugu Ezike, a proud Igbo clan is been mischievously assigned to Igala. And this very obnoxious act is first propagated by a popular moniker here, that is active both day and night. I will guess a party to the media team, whose sole target is the Igbo nation.
Enugu Ezike Oba has a rich history, including cultural mix heritage, but has maintained her rich Igbo culture from time immemorial. They were among the first Igbo clan to interact with northerners, Nupes, and Igalas, right before Europeans colonized this part of West Africa. So it is very plausible that culture exchanged hands. This will include both marriage and of course names plus other cultural practices.
Mind you, these interchange is both ways. Go deep into Kogi state, Akpanya community, and see Igbo speakers as mother tongue. We don't make noise about it.
Suddenly, this very moniker, with the bid to downplay on Igbo population ascribed this Igbo clan to Igala. It is annoying that his objective is effortlessly been achieved.
Why not focus on delivering on good governance so Nigerians, including the Igbos will give you round support, I mean hundred percent support? Why always wanting to stoke tribal sentiment, politically with the bid to disorganize your perceived enemy? Igbo is not a political party for God sake. We are an ethnics group and not a political party. APC propagandist take note.

And to those fools falling for this deliberate antics, and claiming Ogala is not Igbo enough, una da so ihenre?. How you easily fall into their trap is just mind blowing. Nobody is superior or inferior Igbo. Anyi bu otu. If you are Igbo and you ignorantly spew trash because you want to sound politically correct, either to smear the ruling party, I will call you an idiot. Nobody is more Igbo than the other.

In conclusion, ethnic politics will definitely drown Nigeria, if we don't separate ethnicity from national politics. But an impossible feat, since the Nigerian man is deeply entrenched in tribalism and nepotism. Let's see how things play out.

If you are an Nsukka man then go home and ask the elders of your community the link between them and igala.
Try and be reading history so that you can learn, Onoja Oboni was a famous igala Attah that carried out conquest to expand igala kingdom, during this period around 1630 he conquered deep into the Igbo land extending the igala kingdom to a present day Ogurogu in Enugu State where he single handedly built wall around the town, it will interest you to know that Igwe ibagwa, Igwe OBUKPA, Igwe Ogurogu up till now still goes to Attach igala,s palace for Beading.
In Ogurogu up till date there is a traditional festival that is celebrated in honour of Onoja Oboni and this is because he died and was buried in Ogurogu and each year during the celebration a cow is slaughtered on his grave and women are not allowed to partake in it.
Note that Onoja Oboni was a very mystical fellow was said to have power to stop River Niger from flowing, secondly he had six toes on his leg and six finger on his hand, So I challenge you today to go home as an Igbo man and ask the elders of your town, or go to the palace of Igwe Ogurogu his royal Highness Emmanuel Egwuaba or the palace of Igwe ibagwa and ask him what is there link to Attah igala and why is it that after the normal coronation they still go to Attach igala palace in Idah to receive beads.
All these fake stories lifted from Ayangba page. Igbos have been existense for more than 2000 years, within the axis of Lejja down to the coast before Jukun migrants met Igbos and Yorubas at Idah then fused to form Igala. The Igala tribe is very recent. Igbos are ancient people. This is why the name is Igbo, ndi Ngbo ancient people or forest people. Be guided.
Stop using fake histories you lifted from Ayagba the fake historian to deceive people here.

He had a debate with Asari Dokubo with historical proof. Asari's great Grandfather is from Igboland. Most of his ancestors
are all Igbos. If he sold Igbos, then he was selling his fellow kinsmen.
