As at that time of application for appointment, 12 months, and about 1 week.
Thanks for this, I just wanted to confirm what I heard that one has to have been a permanent residential holder for at least 6months before applying to the German embassy.

MrAAA2:
I handed over my passport, health insurance (Mawista) to the Germany embassy today here in Dubai and would be ready for collection on Monday morning.
I first sent an email for appointment on Sept 11, got a reply Sept 13 with appointment for Oct 7, and a decision mail Nov 3.
The problem is not our nationality but our Nigeria as a place!
It's sad and I pray you get the visa before scheduled exams for Winter 2020. A mate from Vietnam also got approval yesterday after applying in Sept.

Keep hopes alive!
Congratulations to you.May I ask how many months you have been a permanent resident of Dubai before you applied for an appointment date with the German embassy. Thanks

No, I think you'll pay in Naira, but you have to go with the payment schedule for the school. Personally, I think the form A method isn't the best option for you due to the close deadline. Make more inquiries about the method at you bank. But go as early as possible. Since tomorrow is the deadline.
For the form A, First bank said it wasn't possible for me to pay a semester contribution through that means, Gtb said I needed a current account, I don't have that, they both concluded a dom account is the only way at the moment.Luckily, I got connected to a family friend in Germany who did it for me.

Thanks

Go to your bank and request for a FORM A, or you can make the payment through a Domiciliary account transfer. The provisions are there to fill in those line.
I will prefer to go for the Form A, I hope I wouldn't be asked to source for Euros myself?

I will suggest you use flywire cos you just have Monday to pay..
The school name isn't there, that was expected because it is a school in Germany.
Thanks

Boss is the form A limited to one bank or numerous banks? because I was trying to a pay a fee into a schools account, I was told at UBA that the only way to do that is to open a dom account and that CBN suspended western union transfer. How true is this?
Thanks

Trolls are very predictable, they leave clues along even from the first post, they come with this saintly aura at first, they claim neutrality, then they form an activist-like scenario. Sadly we become totally engaged, and before we realize the manipulation, it becomes too late.

Well, we saw the signs but we ignored it, Let me leave you to this:
As the Russian playwright Anton Chekhov advised, “If there is a rifle hanging on the wall in act one, it must be fired in the next act. Otherwise it has no business being there.”

well I did an interview with university of gottingen yesterday and it went well. I was asked why I picked the school, my future career, why I didn't perform well in my lower level in the university days. It's not really difficult.
I also applied to the University of Gottingen in February, I will like to know the course you applied for.
Thanks

Good day. I hope this is not coming late.

Just go to the front of the high court. Even before you get there, some young men and women who act as middle men will approach you and ask you what you want to do. They do all sorts of legal documentations there.

It's very straightforward.
please guys this is urgent which of the two courts am I suppose to get my documents certified in lagos, I am confused. Is it
1. The Federal High Court, Alhaji Ashabi Cole Street, Alausa, Ikeja
Or
2.Ikeja High Court, Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA, Lagos

Thanks

If you come across any special trait of stupidity . . .You must be careful not to let it annoy or distress you, they can be aggressive or passive-aggressive, but they are generally masters at playing on our emotions. So look upon it merely as an addition to your knowledge—a new fact to be considered in studying the character of humanity. —Arthur Schopenhauer/Anonymous.

There is no refund once visa is delayed except your agent agrees to that.

The sad part is, prices vary from one agent to the other and Fanshawe is doing nothing about it.

My suggestion, if you see any college with same program that allows you take full control of the admission process without the use of an agent, you should consider that.

P.s Fanshawe is a very good school. I just don't like the fact that students must go through an agent to secure admission. Agents will ask you for application (usually about $100), registration, administrative and other fees.
Sadly,I couldn't find same program in another college. According to the mail I got from Fanshawe, the agent will also be of assistance in regards to Visa Study Application.I intend contacting the list of agents, if their charged fee is favourable, then I may consider.

Bless You.

Lol. I think my office (PFL Education) is the only approved agent in Nigeria. Send them a mail tho and see if there are other agents that you can use as our service is not free grin
Okay, thanks.

Fanshawe has so many approved agents in Nigeria

.

Fanshawe will return your money for application once you get your visa. Make sure you get the list of agents directly from the school. Do not respond to any one that sends you a mail saying they are an agent from Fanshawe College.

There are many colleges in Ontario that don't use agents, with flexible payment options for tuition. You can try those colleges as well. All the best.

Thanks for the contributions...I sent an email to the address yesterday,no response yet. What if the visa application doesn't go through (God forbid),no refund right?

Lastly, do you have any idea of what the cost of the application and agent fee will be?

I didn't calculate it. Based on the original WES-evaluated transcripts I have seen, 3.3, 3.4 and 3.61 on the 5-point scale were 3.09, 3.16 and 3.22 respectively on the 4-point scale. So yours will definitely be between those values.
You can get an estimated value by using the online WES calculator but you will have to fill in the grades and the units of each of your courses.

Thanks

I don't know if someone else has corrected this in the previous posts. A CGPA of 3.52/5 will not give a CGPA of 2.81/4. It will be 3.1/4 at least.

It will be nice to know how you calculated yours.Thanks.

That is 2.81 on a scale of 4. But note, sometimes those schools factors in your core courses and remove the unnecessary ones.
Thank you.

3.7? This is a good cgpa to go for MSC in canada.
For you to gain admission like memorial university of New Foundland.,they require 2.75 on a scale of 4, so 3.7 will be like 2.96 and try and apply early too
I have a 3.52 on the scale of 5,how would I convert that to the Canadian scale of 4.
Appreciated
