Their coming back will simply restore sanity and re-ordering.If after 50 yrs of independence and we are going from bad to worse, we should not be ashamed to admit failure and diplomatically ask for constructive imput.Presently the country has no developmental or policy direction.
Politics › Re: Rebranding Nigeria Or Rebranding Nigerians? by mechris: 6:15pm On Aug 10, 2009
This Re-branding thing will eventually consume Dora. Its simply beyond her.The present nigerian situation is beyond hope save 4 measures similar to that of Buhari & Idiagbon's regime of the eighties.
Politics › Re: I Did Not "drop" Yar Adua's Name : Tinubu. by mechris: 6:08pm On Aug 10, 2009

Politics › Re: Nuhu Ribadu: Nigeria’s Next Obama? by mechris: 2:18pm On Aug 09, 2009
Thanks Abbeyboy! ,u don't have to wonder about who could be ochestrating this Ribadu's P.R moves;they are every where, opportunists that may eventually crucify him a second time. This is a kyte flying and water testing approach for him.But as to how far this can go , well its definitely a hardsell!!
Politics › Re: Tinubu And Fashola At Loggerheads ! by mechris: 1:31pm On Aug 09, 2009
Its strange it hasn't happenned earlier than now! ,there has been suppressed skirmishes here and there b/w them mainly because of Tinubu's greed and abject innertia. When you are outperformed by your predecessor within an incomperable time line, what do you expect? The P.H.D syndrome will definitely play out.Tinubu should know that change happens and lagosians will pull a suprise on him if he takes them 4 granted come 2011.
Education › Re: ASUU Strike, Your Views And Objections by mechris: 6:04pm On Aug 08, 2009

Simple soul or what ever your name is, please try and play safe with grammar.Don't know if u are fronting for inter or you are a staff, this is a public forum and you may end up a dis service to them if you keep up with the bombs. The guy from P.H is a case in point as to the daily occurence of mischief associated with the banks these days. The tales are endless.
Politics › Re: Nuhu Ribadu: Nigeria’s Next Obama? by mechris: 5:15pm On Aug 08, 2009
This is either a P.R gambit or an expression of wishfull thinking.I would advise him to settle for an international job if offered, than embark on another bumby ride.
Politics › Re: Dangote Is Now Stock Exchange President by mechris: 4:55pm On Aug 08, 2009
I think Otedola should be on que  as vice president or president in waiting. At least he will provide a credible check on Dangote, while the saga continues.Meanwhile  i have my eyes on Ghana stock exchange now!
Politics › Re: Onovo Strips Ex-presidents, Govs, First Lady, Others Of Police Aides by mechris: 4:35pm On Aug 08, 2009
Nex, nobody is confused. It seems u don't know your country too well. Let Onovo remove police aides from OBJ or IBB lets see!! That the decision was taken in march and is being enforced in August clearly shows that the former I.G wisely and tactically avoided it.Onovo, u better thread softly!!

Business › Re: Extortion By Intercontinental Bank PLC by mechris: 3:48pm On Aug 08, 2009
All the banks use the slightest excuse to ripoff customers. If they have really imbibed a true customer service culture they should offer this service free to transition thier customers to the so claimed more secured pin service.Ask yourself, where is the so called  service delivery in all this?, rather what we have is a theater of the absurd and endless tales with the banks. They are simply looking to recover some money lost in shares crash and bad loans.
Politics › Re: Onovo Strips Ex-presidents, Govs, First Lady, Others Of Police Aides by mechris: 3:28pm On Aug 08, 2009
There is a mis carriage of justice here. There is no reason why an ex-president should not be entitled to police protection. This makes the whole episode capable of an unserious outcome because Onovo does not have the mettle yet, more over He is still in an acting capacity.Cleaning the mess in NPF involves a concerted effort, come to think of it , all the police house boys and aides seem to be enjoying the show and they inturn repartriate returns to ogas who ensures they keep thier beat. So who is fooling who? Time will soon tell!!
Politics › Re: Bola Tinubu Barred From Aso Rock by mechris: 5:47pm On Aug 04, 2009
Ethnic dimension should not get into topics up 4 discussion. I feel we should maintain objectivity, decorum and as enlightned nigerian youths live up to the billing of envisioning a change proccess centered on,oneness and patriotism.
Politics › Re: Imo Governor Deflets To Pdp by mechris: 7:18pm On Jul 27, 2009

Politics › Re: Imo Governor Deflets To Pdp by mechris: 5:47pm On Jul 27, 2009
EZEACHI , are you one of those who grin so much and tend to overlook the handwriting on the wall? Ohakim is not an igbo leader ; ok who is then? Ohakim successfully called an Igbo summit where for once an igbo dillema was properly articulated and an agenda set to the delight of all. Some of us feel that if the ray of light of hope is not comming from our axis its not trustworthy.I Ohakim was this and that but today aperforming governor .it simply means he has turned a new leaf, and d.esearves your support.Check out all the people at the stadium 4 his declaration, [i hate to use the word defection] are they all spotless white robbed angels?
Politics › Re: Imo Governor Deflets To Pdp by mechris: 5:27pm On Jul 27, 2009
You have every right to dis agree with me. I was'nt paid by Ohakim  or Okey Bakkassi, am just airining an opinion informed by political foresight.I donot hate Orji either; but truth is he mis stepped and the swing has gone the other way. Nigeria is full of old and foxy politicians who are still vary much in control. What is working now and will continue to work for along time to come is politics of take me by the hand or politics of compromise. We only hope that as this continues ordinary citizens of this nation survives!!Ohakim should begin aconsolidation mission to entrench himself futher. He will match Orji money to money. clout to clout and come to think of it Ohakim is erudite ,polished and good mannerred, he is millenium compartible, ORJI well, he is not as such, !!
Politics › Re: Imo Governor Deflets To Pdp by mechris: 4:45pm On Jul 27, 2009
Great news!!. This will be a bitter lesson to Orji Uzor Kalu.He was well positioned as a credible voice in the south East.Peaple, especially the youths hoped that Orji will do the Igbo proud, He is the most connected individual and politician of Igbo exctraction today, North ,west ,south, name it!. He could have used this goodwill to futher enhance his political profile, even positioning for the actualization of Igbo presidency.Suddenly he started fighting his boss [Annehni& co]and the same system that he has been parts and parcel of.This has never worked ; ask Atiku.Orji Kalu went further to form a[dissenting] political party hopping to capture the country? Wrong!!. What is gradually unfolding if any body will reason with me and the Igbos ,if they can see it and embrace it for good,This could be a push towards a compromise candidate beyond 2011.What Orji blew, may beOhakim's  gain on the way to making history. At the moment he is the most astute, dynamic, young and appealing governor from the south east. N.B  DID YOU KNOW THAT THE SULTAN WAS ALSO IN OWERRI NOT TOO LONG AGO!!. GOODLUCK OHAKIM!!
Politics › Re: Obama In Nigeria, Oh Sorry, Ghana! by mechris: 8:05pm On Jul 13, 2009
Well it wasn't a state visit per say rather a stop over, a balancing so to say to still give africa a mention and some relevance. We stil have a chance if we put our acts together, he will visit Nigeria in the future and I think its worth looking up to.
Politics › Re: Buhari To Float New Party by mechris: 11:58am On Jul 10, 2009

Politics › Re: Yar’Adua Laments Oshodi-Apapa Road Collapse by mechris: 3:26pm On Jul 07, 2009
Did his lamentation singn immediate mobilization to commence repair works? The sad thing is that one gets to see our leaders embrace the art of craftiness and feigned concern by the day.I wonder when gas pipeline became more valuable than the citizens welfare in order of priorities.
