Peugeot has better handling and it’s more fuel efficient(that’s when u compare a 1.8l Toyota to a 1.8l Peugeot) but it’s more more sensitive. But we love it nevertheless and it’s always a 5star all d way. |

You are the one that needs to learn bro And stop talking about Ogunvic41. He didn’t manage any car for u and he didn’t owe u 1kobo. He stood up for something, something that put food on some people’s plate. A sensible person knows Ogunvic is not a fraudulent person, he only made mistakes and d downfall of a man is not the end of his life. You, What have u done apart from bringing in flood cars and taking advantage of driver”s desperation by collecting 40k weekly when d car still belongs to u and u think u are doing business. Second driver has dropped your car ,with what I saw in Taxify office and inspection center on Friday, many are still coming to drop too, maybe you will consider bringing people from your village too. |

Either way am still getting paid ,either way have got two more cars coming in, either way am still getting paid bro .. It's a win win for me bro. Name any single person that has more cars than me bro. Just name them .we are not about managers o or fleet coy. We talking ownership bro. Like Jayz said I own my own masters.... You think am worried . Anybody that has ever dealth with me on the forum knowns me as a straight shooter. I tell it the way it is. I never came out here to brag. When my car had sludge I posted it and show it to people. Was I hiding anything from anybody, I deal with facts ...either way I win bro, before the year runs out I will have up to 10 cars. You think anybody is doing me a favor . I stay winning So u don’t have 10 cars yet and u are bragging like dis. Empty barrels make the loudest noise. You ain’t worth my time. |

On another note one of my driver just drop my car ... Am sorry dump my car. We thank God the car is still in perfect condition body wise and engine wise. Some driver sha jumping from one car to another. Well I guess that is how lazy people operate maybe he will be home praying to God to answer his prayers. People forget hard work, just pray and jump from one job to another hoping to land something big..... Nigerians are the most lazy people..... We can agree to disagree respectfully, but if you start to judge me by mine comments be ready to fight o ... So when a driver drops your car, u call him lazy. The dude got a better offer and has moved on. Deal with it. |

I heard u saying driving 15hours daily will give 160k, I never knew u have a calculator for uber. My friend, pple wait in LEKKI for 90minutes now before request comes. It was never like dat before. The only days u get back to back requests now is on weekends. Stop sitting at d comfort of your home and be calculating what happens on d road. U base ur conclusions on what drivers post on nairaland, but what u don’t know is drivers won’t post d days they didn’t make enough. |

olaboy1: This is getting interesting. I think drivers should be grateful that someone is willing to put 2m Naira down to employ his service so he could feed his family.
You should go and see how that man made that 2m Naira before running your mouth. Stop been ungrateful in this period of recession. I have never heard of an employee making more money than his/her employer, it doesn’t matter whether it’s e-hailing business.
The sharing formula should be 70/30 after Uber fee, fuel, data, car wash and miscellaneous.
Investor takes 70%, driver takes 30%.
Investor puts 50% aside to recoup his capital and car maintenance. Investor takes 20% profit for his upkeep.
If investor decides to fix his money in any bank instruments, he is assured of his initial capital at the end of the year. People go into business so they can recoup their capital and even re-capitalize with a higher margin.
By the way why are partners not opting for percentage, that way everyone will share the burden of downtime, more like EARN AS YOU GO. Lord Lugard!!! |

timifakay: I am neither a car owner nor driver on any e-hailing platform and have no intentions of being either. All this driver must have take home that's greater than what he remits to car owner or fleet manager is greed. How many people here who work for companies/organizations (whether big or small) can confidently say their monthly income is greater than 50% of what they make for their employers? The only reason people are thinking and coming out to say the driver should earn more money than car owner is because he has total access all resources in the business. In every situation I know or have heard of, investor/ employer/business owner makes more money than any employee. Every driver that wants to take the same amount of money home with car owner is directly setting himself up for failure because that means he has to make atleast three times the amount he remits; with each third going into car running/maintenance, car owner ROI and driver income. Example: Weekly delivery of 25k, shared maintenance or repair clause and driver wants to earn atleast 25k too means. Weekly remit =25k Car running/ maintenance contribution= 25k Driver take home =25k+X Total = 75k+X After 3 months max one of car or driver or both will be unavailable for a greater part of a week and driver won't be able to meet up for with that week's payment and this will be commencement of problem because owner thinks his remit his small and he shouldn't have any complain, driver will think owner is inconsiderate due to his sense of entitlement which in the first place led him to believe he should earn more than car owner. Driver will eventually suffer greatest loss because he will lose car - source of income, which will lead him to signing a worse contract on next offer. Vehicle owner still has his car, in a worst case scenerio of car total loss he gets compensation, if driver dies he may still be the one to get claim for driver's life and pass whatever he wants on to driver's family.
Any driver who thinks the value on his life his greater than the cost price of vehicle invested by car owner should claim he has terminal disease or was kidnapped for his family members and see how much they will raise within a week if it is more than the cost of the car take it and go and buy car, then become a driver partner. If not, be humble and contented with a reasonable amount that you can easily replicate monthly.
I am not jollof, I can't make everyone happy. Driving a car 15 hours everyday is different from working in an office 9 - 5. Never compare d two. Ur 1.8m Corolla is not worth more than my life. If there’s life, there’s hope |

jpworld: The point is not the weekly remittance, the point is him keeping complainant money and not getting him the vehicle.
No one actually have been here to complain that they have not paid 50k weekly, couple of people have actually testify they are getting paid weekly.
the problem is the greediness involve, trying to take advantage of peoples trust.
You dont need to drive 15hours daily, to pay rent of 50k, I have seen people post 100k made in 4days, on plenty of occasions. Can you explain that or they have a special head? r Be deceiving yourself. There are more drivers than riders now. If u like be living in fantasyland. 100k per week kor |

I drive a Citroen C5, I noticed it was consuming a lot of fuel and not really moving as supposed to. Also noticed d rpm was bouncing a little ( u have to stare really close on d rpm needle to notice d bouncing) and also displaying the antipollution fault. I took d car to ladipo, the mechanic guy changed d plugs, tps, cleaned d throttle body , even changed s injector nozzles, yet the problem persists. He said we should scan d car, they scanned it and d guy told me it’s d oxygen sensor, they changed d oxygen sensor with one with a bigger head, I complained about the type they were putting but they said it will work. Now, the antipollution fault is no more displaying but the car is still consuming fuel and the rpm is now sluggish to return to its original position after reving the car and while driving, it also revs itself. I also noticed d idle is little higher. Pls I need help. Thanks |
