Before I go and pick up any rider, weda u are 1min away or 10km away, that one no concern me. I go ask u where u dey go. If u talk anyhow I go hang up. I can't come and be stressing myself for nothing..

If you don’t tell me your destination, forget it, I’m not coming. If u like report to Uber. I don’t care. If I call u myself and u are sounding rude already, I’m canceling immediately. Life is too shor for stress. The real rich riders are never rude. The poverty stricken Olosho girls are the worst. I once parked and ordered one to get out of my car with a smiling face cos she called me fool for not increasing d AC. She thought I was joking because I was smiling and demanding her exit from my car. I ended the trip, gave her a star and told Taxify she’s rude and disrespectful. Case closed

Hahahahahaha let me laugh well jare.... I never knew I’ve set this thread on fire with my comment. A lot of u even went back to former post to discredit me. Well I’m not employed by anyone of u, I own my own car and I have another car, I can show u proof if u want to. I drove on rental for like a year and I didn’t make much more to buy me a car that’s Uber ready. Until I got an offline trip through a friend to Anambra that lasted a month 50k to and fro then 20k for every day I spend in anambra. I used my small car that’s I’ve always had to do the job, I made about 500k on that trip, then got an offer of a Tokunbo unpopular car. I sold the smaller car to get something tangible. I called Gazuz for advice but he discouraged me on that particular brand which I understand but I was bent on leaving the slavery of paying the better part of my earnings to someone. The car has been somehow problematic but I drive it myself and it’s better than being anyone’s slave. I got the car and luckily, the same client that took me to anambra referred me to someone else, that got me 400k richer. Within four months, with rigorous stress on Uber and support from family members living abroad that wants me to reduce d stress I go through, I managed to buy another car that I put on rental for 25k per week, my reason is based on my experience on the job. D driver doesn’t owe and we are good like that.
Now to my earlier post, I used d word rubbish because of the fare rate and 25% commission charged by Uber. And if I’m to have a job of 180k now, trust me I will never leave it to drive taxi. I will not leave certainty for uncertainty.
And for the fools talking about applying for jobs on Nairaland, sho mo age mi ni, I’m not looking for job in Nigeria anymore, I have other plans as this will also be my last year driving Taxi..

To the internet does not forget crew, my message is comming late cos I’ve been on an offline trip since Wednesday, I took someone to anambra for a burial and also to visit Holy Ghost ministry of Adoration (Ebube Monso). I just entered Lagos now now now grin and I just got 100k richer. grin

As someone who’s been in dis business before ehailing came to Nigeria, I will tell you, and don’t stand to be corrected that the only condition that justifies the exorbitant amount you guys collect on rental is a higher purchase deal. Y’all just milking the drivers dry. But I don’t blame you, I blame the govt

I registered with the Mtn line and I'm using a sim card slot phone. If I should change to 9mobile that means I will need to use my second phone to communicate with the rider which will be difficult when driving. Copying number from a phone to another. Is it possible to change my line on the taxify platform?

Just port your line to 9mobile. Case closed

The Simple Answer: Go to the nearest dealership to you, buy a car and start driving it.

The Complex Answer: There are something insurance do not cover, things like negligence, drink-driving, etc. So if you are like the HENRY, Sir Gazzuzz talked about, you think I don’t have other important things to use millions of Naira for other than buy a car and have a driver destroyed it in the name of mere weekly rental.

The StraightForward Answer: if you don’t want to provide Guarantors, come to the other side of the business. We would like to use you as a test case on why car owners should stop collecting Guarantors before giving drivers key to their car.

Please pick one that reasonate with you.

For your mind, I’m a driver renting cars. Lol. I’ve crossed that bridge a long time ago. I even added another car to my fleet last month, driver is doing fine without a guarantor. I never see any partner see shishi collect from any guarantor. As an experienced driver, I know what really matters, not what y”all are copying and pasting here. Abey make I leave story jare. Make Una dey copy and paste dey go.

Guarantor is overrated
You have collected an upfront Incase of default,
You have a comprehensive insurance Incase of theft, fire and accidents.
You also have a car tracker that makes you 100% in control of the car.

PLEASE, WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED A GUARANTOR FOR.

LORD LUGARDS!!!!

I don’t believe in d experienced driver thingy. It’s all about how long u can be on the road and luck. A driver posted 18hrs daily work and I come dey fear for him life. Nothing in dis world will make me drive 18hrs a day unless my daughter is on life support machine and I need money to keep her alive(GOD FORBID). I’ve been driving uber for more than 2yrs, started as a driver renting cars and today, I own a car all from d proceeds of driving uber and offline trips. I work on a target. I do 10k daily from Monday to Thursday and 15k daily from Friday to Sunday. Some days, it doesn’t take me more than 3hours to make my 10k and some days, luck will just shine and I’d meet those clients that prefer offline and need u for the whole day. 20 to 25k is sure on those days. God will do what he says he will do

Peugeot has better handling and it’s more fuel efficient(that’s when u compare a 1.8l Toyota to a 1.8l Peugeot) but it’s more more sensitive. But we love it nevertheless and it’s always a 5star all d way.

I hope you too have learn... did you learn from Ogunvic41? I said a lot of things that came to pass .... We don't need to go into details. You are the one that needs to learn bro

And stop talking about Ogunvic41. He didn’t manage any car for u and he didn’t owe u 1kobo. He stood up for something, something that put food on some people’s plate. A sensible person knows Ogunvic is not a fraudulent person, he only made mistakes and d downfall of a man is not the end of his life. You, What have u done apart from bringing in flood cars and taking advantage of driver”s desperation by collecting 40k weekly when d car still belongs to u and u think u are doing business. Second driver has dropped your car ,with what I saw in Taxify office and inspection center on Friday, many are still coming to drop too, maybe you will consider bringing people from your village too.

Deal with it ? Move on... jumping from one job to another from one deal to another.. Lol deal with it. Either way am still getting paid ,either way have got two more cars coming in, either way am still getting paid bro .. It's a win win for me bro. Name any single person that has more cars than me bro. Just name them .we are not about managers o or fleet coy. We talking ownership bro. Like Jayz said I own my own masters.... You think am worried . Anybody that has ever dealth with me on the forum knowns me as a straight shooter. I tell it the way it is. I never came out here to brag. When my car had sludge I posted it and show it to people. Was I hiding anything from anybody, I deal with facts ...either way I win bro, before the year runs out I will have up to 10 cars. You think anybody is doing me a favor . I stay winning

So u don’t have 10 cars yet and u are bragging like dis. Empty barrels make the loudest noise. You ain’t worth my time.

But according to Stealth 100 rating does not matter now ... And even Oga Gazzuz is using 1998 station wagon on uber oops sorry I mean 2009 Toyota station wagon. Me self I want use 1997 yellow station wagon for uber.

On another note one of my driver just drop my car ... Am sorry dump my car. We thank God the car is still in perfect condition body wise and engine wise. Some driver sha jumping from one car to another. Well I guess that is how lazy people operate maybe he will be home praying to God to answer his prayers. People forget hard work, just pray and jump from one job to another hoping to land something big..... Nigerians are the most lazy people..... We can agree to disagree respectfully, but if you start to judge me by mine comments be ready to fight o ...

So when a driver drops your car, u call him lazy. The dude got a better offer and has moved on. Deal with it.
