of People Do The Weirdest Things
With Their Money, Snoop Lion’s
Snoopify app’s $99.99 virtual joints
have been purchased by 15 people.
The Snoopify app allows users to
place virtual stickers on photographs and one of the stickers, called “Golden Jay”, is priced at $99.99.
The recent purchases of Snoop Lion’s Golden Jay have even caught the inventors of the app off guard.
Snoop’s brand manager, Nick Adler
told The Wall Street Journal he was
“shocked” 15 people purchased the
premium Golden Jay but reasoned it
was because “this is a new world.”

Manchester United have opened
negotiations with Everton over a deal for
Marouane Fellaini, as David Moyes fears
that his top midfield target, Cesc Fábregas
of Barcelona, could prove out of reach.
Moyes, who has so far added only the
young Uruguayan full-back Guillermo
Varela to his squad before his debut
season at Old Trafford, worked with
Fellaini at Everton, having signed him
for £15m from Standard Liege in 2008.
Fellaini is understood to have offers from
elsewhere in the Premier League but the
25-year-old would relish the opportunity
to join United and continue his working
relationship with Moyes. United are in
pole position for his signature. Fellaini's
Everton contract contained a £23m
buyout clause but this expired on 31 July,
meaning that his value will determined
by the market.
United's need for reinforcement in
midfield has been intensified by Paul
Scholes's retirement at the end of last
season and Moyes has pushed to take
Fábregas, the former Arsenal captain,
seeing two bids turned down by
Barcelona. Moyes has also been linked
with a move for Luka Modric of Real
Madrid although that, too, has been
fraught with complications.
Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager,
has said for the past three weeks that his
information was that Fábregas would
stay at Camp Nou for at least another
season. Despite the acrimony of
Fábregas's departure from Arsenal,
Wenger has retained a good relationship
with him while the player's agent is the
son of David Dein, Wenger's closest
contact in the game. In this summer of
the contractual transfer clause, Arsenal
have one that effectively entitles them to
first refusal on Fábregas. Wenger's
information would appear to be well-
sourced.
Fellaini is a different type of midfielder,
with reservations over his passing ability
and disciplinary record. But he has skill,
tremendous presence and threat, as
evidenced by his 12 goals for Everton last
season.

British travel blogger and filmmaker,
Graham Hughes wrapped up his global
odyssey this past December and recently
released a four-minute video of him in
each country. It’s kind of like a video on
steroids.
In between shooting one-second videos,
Hughes went on some wild adventures.
This is how he described them on
Facebook:
“I’ve fed the crocs in Australia, hunted
the dragons of Komodo, befriended the
orangutans in Borneo, played with the
lemurs in Madagascar, washed the
elephants in India and eaten live octopus
in South Korea.”
Hughes made it out alive — and earned
some major street cred along the way. In
addition to the Guinness World Records
recognizing him for “Most Countries
Visited in One Year by Scheduled Ground
Transport,” Hughes spent a week in a
Congolese prison, was arrested sneaking
into Russia and joined a Bwiti tribe in
Gabon. He even tiptoed into North Korea,
which is not exactly a popular tourist
destination.
Also, in case you didn’t hear, there’s a
new country in the world, South Sudan.
And yes, he made it there, too.
It took Hughes 1,426 days to cover
160,000 miles.
As you can imagine, a trip like this could
really leave a guy broke. But he kept his
costs under $100 per day, collected
donations on his website and taped
segments for National Geographic’s
Adventure Channel, “Graham’s World.”
Hughes even raised money for WaterAid,
a charity that brings clean water to some
of the most impoverished nations in the
world.

Kanye West surprised us all when after getting Kim Kardashian pregnant, he decided to help her raise the baby.

ways and refused to be present when the baby was born. Only Amanda Bynes was competition for his antics before baby North West was born, launching yet another run of negative scrutiny before the couple said they did it to avoid the KKK references of giving the baby a name like theirs.
