Its a gradual process my friend. Dont get scared though. They are a tough nut to crack them arsenal boys. grin
Rest your mind assured that the team that has given us the less shivers is Arsenal and no matter how tough, that nut has been cracked most times without too much stress grin

If it is to start talkin about who will be beat who, guy i don't have time for that. When dec. 15 comes. We will see wot happens. Right now i am interested in seeing them play one game at a time. Its a gradual process my friend. Dont get scared though. They are a tough nut to crack them arsenal boys. grin

So u might need more than a sledgehammer to break them. So as the boy scouts say "be prepared".
That's why I stated like Bob Marley said, "Time will Tell" cool

@ Medube

I see where u are going with this. You already trying to make an excuse for chelsea whenever arsenal meets them and it happens that arsenal beats them.
That will be the most important achievement for you guys I suppose, but it will never happen whether we have Mourinho as coach or Samson Siasia, but it's good to have wishful thinking smiley Don't worry, December 15th is not that far away, that is if you stay at the top till then grin

stop displayin your stupidity n lack of knowledge.
If you want to argue, please do that, but restrain from using abusive language as I have not insulted anyone personally here and will not accept any insults. On the other hand, if you only know how to argue using abusive languages, then please go and find someone else or some other thread to argue, I didn't force you to make a comment on this thread.

chelsea has one billionaire running the club, Arsenal has 2 billionaires, kronke and usmanov
I hope you are not comparing wealth here, because my brother your 2 billionaires added together multiplied by 2 are still lower in worth than our billionaire smiley Though this has nothing to do with football, so I don't see why you are using it as a point for comparison between 2 football clubs  cool
SportsRe: Why Do Arsenal Fans Have Such An Inferiority Complex Near Chelsea? by medube(op): 10:15am On Sep 25, 2007
I think all you Arsenal fans who have posted are really missing the point.

You have won more than Chelsea in everything, even since the days of MOses you have been winning, good for you.
YOu have the classiest football, una try.
YOu have the best pitch for 10 years, thank God.
Arsene Wenger was given Order of the British Empire or of the British Dustbin, who cares?
Arsene Wenger has done this and Arsenal have done this, but the question all of you have yet to answer is;

WHEN DID ARSENAL UNDER ARSENE WENGER WIN CHELSEA UNDER JOSE MOURINHO? smiley or even better WHEN DID ARSENAL DEFEAT CHELSEA LAST IN FOOTBALL? For Christ's sake, with 10 men we held your classy team to a draw in one of our last matches against each other.

Thats the mutli-billion dollar question none of you can answer or try to avoid, by posting history. You want to close the thread, close or stop posting, but be straight-forward  men and women and answer that important question which has been killing you all deep down inside in recent times smiley

Brazil plays far better football than anyone in the world and have won more achievements than any other national team, but who are the current world champions, it is ITALY. Argentina have won only 2 world cups, but yet they are a world footballing power house and most times defeat Brazil. Ghana has a better African record than Nigeria, but have were never been to at the WOrld Cup pre-2006, does that make them better? smiley

FOrget History, we are talking of now. Accept the fact, face to face record in the last 4 years of football, the Arses and their Arse coach has never defeated the BLUES and if you realise, that has made Arse Wenger age smiley

Wetin dey make me laugh the more is the last 3 seasons when we dey use una shine ground, una dey use one foolish excuse say una dey build team, hahahahahahaha smiley This season because una Kanu wannabe score 3 goals for one match, una think say una dey lift trophy smiley Let's see, like Bob Marley say, "Time Will Tell."

The point is if teams are sitting now reminiscing on the last 4 years of football, Manchester United can come out and say we defeated Chelsea this time and Liverpool can say we did it that time and Villa can say we did it this time, etc, but your Arses can do nothing but keep quiet and listen  grin grin grin

So, please when football fans are talking of present football (and not history), you guys are not one of the privileged to speak where we speak, so shhhusshhhh!!!! smiley

By the way, this is a simple argument and no insults pointed to anyone, just gisiting.

@debosky, I like your write up, but I will like to pick on some points you stated if you don't mind:

debosky:
medube you don't know of anyone?

you must either be a closet fan or you're just trying to deny the truth. Chelsea abounds with glory hunters, and kiddie fans who only come on weekends to watch games.
I meant I am not speaking for anyone but myself and I have been a Chelsea fan long before Mourinho and will remain one long after.

debosky:
Chelsea was not really on the world map without JM, that is why the whole thing is falling apart after his departure.
Please can you clarify how things are falling apart after him? Things have been rough for the last few weeks and there has only been one loss to Manchester United, which is not an impossibility or vice versa. How can one match have turned to things fall apart after Mourinho?  cheesy Remember, Arsenal are only 5 points ahead of us and 1 game in hand, but there are still 31 games each in this league. Whether with Mourinho or without, no Chelsea, no Arsenal, no ManU, no Liverpool, etc can start celebrating. We lost Mourinho, but we still have Abramovich and his billions smiley While you guys are there rebuilding, we are ever ready to spend to buy ready built to make Arsenal continue winning the planks they have been winning for the last few seasons smiley

CFC Yesterday, CFC Today and CFC forever Tomorrow. We haven't gone anywhere, we are only rebuilding like Gunners are doing. The only difference is it will take us 4 weeks at the max, while they have been at it for the last 4 years smiley

A lot of Chelsea fans joined the club because of Mourinho, they are ever welcome afterall a lot of Arsenal supporters from this Naija and I'm talking on personal research knew nothing of Arsenal before Nwankwo Kanu went there, true or false? smiley Did they leave Arsenal when he left? smiley smiley smiley
SportsWhy Do Arsenal Fans Have Such An Inferiority Complex Near Chelsea? by medube(op): 9:37pm On Sep 24, 2007
I am not pointing fingers at anyone, neither am I insulting anyone, but if it is perceived in that manner, in any way, I apologise.

I have been making some observations for some time and I have to admit what summed it up was that most posts on recent active threads about Chelsea, like:

"Classy Chelsea: From Glorious Jose's Era To Infinity!"
"What Do You Think About Chelsea At The Moment?"
"Mikel Gets A Red Card: Shouldn't Have!"

that have shown signs of happiness, celebration, pompousness, etc. have been from Arsenal fans. The thing is funny, but even you the Arsenal fan have to admit to yourself its true smiley

Could it be because during Jose Mourinho's tenure at Stamford bridge, Arsenal were never one of the privileged sides who defeated us, whether home, away or on neutral ground?  cheesy Or could it be because in the last 3 seasons, they haven't won anything aside one FA Cup (if I remember closely, but if I'm wrong please correct me, I don't have time to start reading Wikipedia)?  cheesy No be we do o!  shocked

One thing is that they say football no be mathematics, but had it been e be mathematics, I think statistics show that Jose  achieved more or less equal to Wenger in the Premier League smiley I mean let's face reality, Arsene joined the team in 1996, which is 11 years ago and has won 3 leagues and 4 fa cups, which is an average of 1 league every 3.5 years and 1 fa cup every 3 years. On the other hand it took Jose 3 years to win 2 leagues (back to back which only SAF has achieved before him) and 1 fa cup and thats an average of 1 league every 1.5 years and 1 fa cup every 3 years. But I state in the beginning no be mathematics smiley

Every team has had rough times in their careers including the greatest teams, so what if we are having one now? Whether under Mourinho or now Grant, the last few weeks have been very very rough and I expected something, but I think Abramovich doesnt have a clue as to what football or any sport that involves a team is all about unless he won't have made such a big jump. He has to realise, this is not buying and selling oil  angry So, back to where I was, we are having a rough time and yes we will come out of it, you all know that. Football nowadays is bigger than a sport and don't ever in your wildest dreams as you all Arsenal fan are dreaming that we will drop very low, even as low as relegation as one of my sista point out on one of those threads  grin

Think about it and I know you guys will soon start the bombardment, but its the truth and I will appreciate neutral inputs on this. I have a right to my opinion and I'm just expressing it.

By the way, have you guys finished building the team you were building when you weren't winning trophies?  grin E no even take them that long to build Tinapa and I no go lie, the place big o!  grin cheesy grin
SportsA Good Manager Makes A Team Or A Good Team Makes A Manager? by medube(op): 6:14pm On Sep 24, 2007
Following the events that have taken place in one of Europe's biggest clubs, Chelsea, in the last week or so, it raises to mind the question, does a good manager make a team or is it the other way round? Indeed a good discussion to have, so debate on guys and gals cool

And by the way, lets keep it clean, less insults please.
SportsRe: What Do You Think About Chelsea At The Moment? by medube(m): 5:14pm On Sep 24, 2007
@RuuDie, brilliant spirit, keep it up. Once a BLUE, always a BLUE.

We are only 3 points behind United and even if Arsenal win their game in hand they will only be ahead of us by 8 points. With 31 matches to go in the league, a lot  can still happen. What if we had won the match yesterday, but lost next one, would we have been saying all being said? Answer is No. We only lost the coach and of course few players, temporarily injured. Time still dey. Remember the saying, "those that laugh first, cry first" : ) Not to forget our own saying here in Naija, "every disappointment is a blessing in disguise." cool
