PoliticsRe: Soludo Should Be In Jail - Falana by meexteriox(m): 5:17pm On Nov 03, 2009
I tire for this people ooooooooo.

Soludo is now the subject of uncanny diatribe because he is contesting for Anambra Governorship election.
PoliticsRe: What Is Soludo Waiting For? (vs Chris Uba) by meexteriox(m): 3:44pm On Nov 03, 2009
Soludo remains the only credible opposition to Peter Obi.

Sane people like him need to get into the fray called politics in Nigeria, if we are to get out of this deterioration.

Pls Falana has paid his dues in Nigeria. So give him his due respect. He has fought and won court cases for less previleged nigerians free of charge. Has Soludo done such for any Nigerian?
Now your stupidity is going olympics.

What is this sudden "public relations" for Falana all about? What is his problem with Soludo?
I see this as unnecessary news making, he should direct his judiciary prowess at other things and not Soludo.
He is no saint, afterall.

Very Funny. Very soon u will also be asking for verifiable facts where DORA (Info. Minister) joined the PDP in 2006. When Soludo and Dora was following the PDP throughtout the country during the 2007 presidential campagin you were too Blind to see them? When OBJ was rising their hands as part of his govt's achievements, Were they members of another party?

Nigerians forget so soon! I doubt if we can make progress by denying obvious truth when it doesnt not favour us or the people we support.
Your blindness is even more obvious.
You missed the trip to Nigeria Reality Show. Simple question, if he joined, when, any fact? You prefer to throw unnecessary tantrums about political campaigns.

As far as i'm concerned, Soludo reserves the right to contest any election in Nigeria.

I kind of agree with Falana, although not on the jail aspect.

I know our constitution allows Soludo to Join any party he chooses, but i think according to the level of our social development, it is morally wrong for an umpire to be a member of one of the participating teams. By this i mean members of the supreme court (especially the Chief Justice), The Chairman of INEC, The Chief of Police, The Chiefs of the Armed forces, The attorney General, the Central Bank Governor. All should be neutral and not belong to any political party. Their primary allegiance should be to the constitution.
Please you guys should provide us with verifiable facts, where Soludo joined PDP in 2006.

Is it a criminal offence for a serving public servant to be a card carrying member of any political party?

I always respect Falana but on this occassion he has failed to quote the necessary sections of the constitution to support his claim like he usually does.

Need I remind Falana that in the so called decent society he wants to talk about, Sanusi's actions or inactions will be tied to economic outcomes Not emotions based on what sounds radical/revolutionary and what does not.

It is pretty clear that if a Capitalist CBN Governor is replaced by a Socialist CBN Governor, there will be drastic change in policy. What will determine who is right is outcomes and not spin.
All this diatribe about Soludo joining politics is beginning to get at me.
Is it now sin for a sane mind to join politics in Nigeria? Falana should leave all this talk and leave the guy alone.
PoliticsRe: Benin City - by meexteriox(m): 10:51am On Nov 03, 2009
It was in line with pics and views above that our dear Lucky Igbenedion swore he would maintain the ancient city of Benin.
For that alone, he did nothing for 8 years. Fortunately, after 4 years, his dad begged Edo people that a child that fails an examination
should be allowed to repeat the class. That was how he got the second term.

PoliticsRe: Eze Ndigbo Title: Ohazulike Appeals For Calm by meexteriox(m): 9:58am On Jun 08, 2009
This issue is already over laboured. This Eze Ndi Igbo outside Igbo land, has been existing all over Nigeria for more
than a decade, that i'm aware. Annually, they come together from any states where such exist and elect a leader
for a particular period of time, who assumes the president of Eze Ndi Igbo in Diaspora. Coming down to the state level,
(Lagos State for example), each local government has an has an Eze Igbo, and this is attained simply by election
organised by the parent Igbo socio-cultural organisation "Oha Na Eze Ndi Igbo". Oha Na Eze Ndi Igbo, as an organisation,
exist in all local government area of Lagos State.
What i find baffling, is that, where this same "ban" is coming from, has shown support to the cause of Eze Ndi Igbo in Lagos State
particularly. All manner of people, both from government and private organisation, even the media has participated, benefitted
from various programs or activities organised in the interest of the Igbo outside Igbo land.
This same politicians spearheading this ban solicited for the Igbo votes, by paying homage to Ohazuluike during electioneering
campaigns.
My point remains that, if you are an Igbo son or daughter, whether you like it or not, OHA NA EZE NDIGBO organisation, is the umbrella
body for all Igbo descents. So therefore, if Eze Ndi Igbo outside Igboland, is duly recognised and more importantly forms a considerable
part of major decisions taken by Oha Na Eze Ndigbo anywhere in the world, then this ban in my humble personal view remains illegal and
an act capable creating tension among Ndigbo, who remain the engine house of Lagos economy.

You guys make me so sick anytime you come up blaming the british for all the problems in nigeria.
Colonial masters this, colonial masters that. . . . . why cant you guys get rid of those faulty foundations and start something worth living on? Are all nigerians kids not to have done something for themselves within 50 years of her miserable existence?
Pally, get serious. They would continue to carry the blame as along as this problem crop up.
How do you start correcting a faulty foundation that has eaten deep into all Nigerians?
This subject is a time bomb waiting to explode anytime. They plunged us into this avoidable, unnecessary marriage
due to their selfish interest.

I feel you my brother!
But seriously, this tribal thing cannot be easily wished away, WHY? So many impediments on the way. LIKE?
FEDERAL CHARACTER COMMISSION - Here, tribe is highly emphasized before quality of individual.

I still blame our former colonial masters for all of this. The British actually laid the foundation for this mess.
Their segregation policy heightened the whole issue. The annexation of radically different societies, to me,
is an artificial attempt by the British to urge gradual integration, which to date is not feasible.
