KoloOyinbo:Please stop shying away from the question. Did Moses, Isaiah and co tell you the date Christ who they prophesied to come was to be born? |
KoloOyinbo:Now you are really being so worse than a cretin. You sure are the desperate one here as you keep on oozing hurt and jealousy in your statements. How does that crap you've been writing mean the same as "Pray against MASSIVE earthquakes"? Or are you this much of a slowpoke? Now i see why you keep on swaying in and out and just couldn't muster up anything coherent to give as an answer to a simple question......DAFTNESS! |
omonnakoda:Puerile statements and behaviour. If only you had a mother and father, you sure would have been more mature intellect-wise than the poo you exhibit here. Good for you is a full stop here. Suit yourself! |
omonnakoda:Well Mr Logic, now i see who needs to grow up and get his reasoning faculty developed; don't mean an insult either as well. What gibberish are you all about here spewing about who told you they can provide you with a device to view whatever on screen, talk or fly to wherever? What has that got to do with the subject matter of this thread? Do you just stumble onto a thread and start blabbing around? This poo you've just said shows you don't even know "jack" about whatever it is you were trying to defend and you're busy telling me about some useless LOGIC and HYPOTHESIS. Please do yourself some good and go back and read the guy's comments to know where his arguement was actually coming from then you can come back and talk better organised and constructively. You dont come on here and exhibit some form of useless arrogance. You can keep that within the confinements of your room. School ko, Reasoning ni. Mtchewww. |
omonnakoda:God bless you sir. I appreciate your sincerity and wealth of knowledge. Of course you are very very right in your assertion. But that's in PHILOSOPHY and LOGIC. Hypothesis and Prophecy are two distinct and different things. One is based on scientic/human understanding and the other is based on spiritual/divine revelation. Of course, you wouldn't expect a prophet to prove his prophecies because he doesnt have the wherewithals to do that, he is just an instrument to voice it out. God performs/proves prophecies. If not, Moses, Isaiah and other prophets would all have been termed false prophets as they didnt prove their prophecy of the birth/coming of Christ, infact it didnt even happen in their time/dispensation. It was many years after their death that the prophecy was fulfilled by God himself of course and not the prophets. Thank God you said in SCIENCE. Science and Christianity are two parallel lines. Science is human, Christainity is divine. The wisdom of man in no form nears the foolishness of God. If prophecies are to be deemed FALSE until proven or settled like you said, then the Isrealites of the bible would have seen Moses, Isaiah and other prophets as false because the prophecy of Christ (which is the main thing they all foretold) never happened in their time. Yet, they believed it and stuck to it, passing it unto their children and children's children unto their third, fourth etc generations without seeing it proven or settled until at the appointed time, the prophecy was fulfilled. If we are also to go by your assertion, then Christ himself who prophesied of his 2nd coming soon would also be deemed as FALSE since it's yet to be proven/settled. So you see, HYPOTHESIS and PROPHECY are two different things. And your last logic, if Mr. A says Jonathan is a woman and Mr. B says it's not true. Mr. C can ask whoever among the two he meets why he believes what he said, which is exactly what i've done. "Mr. B, you said Jonathan is not a woman, why/what are your proofs"? Are you saying it's out of place? |
KoloOyinbo:And you still don't get it either, do you? I don't demand of a proof to any prophecy from you because you don't even have the wherewithals to do so. Prove your statement correct, that's what i'm asking of you. Now, i say to people an egg is oval in shape and you say to them it's false, now isn't it your duty to prove to those who ask you "WHY YOU SAY SO", why you said is false? Does your acclaimed logic not let you see that too? Don't derail again sir and answer this very simple question i've been asking you for over 15hrs now. |
KoloOyinbo:Well, let's watch out and see who'll be disappointed then. Now not everybody can prophesy and that doesn't make those who can't unspiritual. You are just cunningly trying to drift away from the subject matter here. You were quick to realize a false prophecy and yet you can't give an example of a true prophecy. Why shouldn't i compare with Moses? Moses was a true prophet same was Isaiah and they should be our standard to differentiate true prophets from false ones. Now again as usual, you shyed away from my question. Moses, Isaiah and some other prophets of the old prophesied about the birth/coming of Christ. How many of them told us the date he was to be born? Or does that also make them false prophets according to your explanation of prophecy? Oga please answer my question this time and don't try to play smart on it again. |
KoloOyinbo:Now can you listen to yourself? You made the statement earlier that those are things that can just happen. You even said that hundreds of earthquakes happen hence a saying that earthquake will happen isn't a prophecy. And here you are again telling me that your PROOF is that THEY NEVER HAPPEN. Can you imagine? Hehehehe. You haven't said why you are hurting, oga. Now it is clear who your "basic high school education" statement suits the more. Sir you still have another opportunity. Spew out your proof that those are false prophecies like you claim. Seems it's really become so hard for you to do so. |
omonnakoda:I dont get your point please. What the guy i've been asking for proof from made, isn't that a statement? So what's your point in what you wrote? He made a statement that what somebody else said are false prophecies, so doesn't your logic also imply that he should prove that those sayings he accuse as false are false indeed? Or does your logic exonerate him from proving his statement? Now, i seriously don't get the ideology behind that your logic. Maybe you should make it clearer. |
KoloOyinbo:Oga na wa oh! You keep beating around answers to a question. You are not the one making the lies but you are the one discerning them as lies. On what grounds do you discredit the statements, that's your PROOF. Spew it out. The burden of proving statements as lies is on the critic and not the sayer. Give a CONCRETE PROOF to your claims......is that so difficult? |
KoloOyinbo:You were spiritual enough to know those were false prophecies now see ain't spiritual enough again to give me a true prophecy? Hmm! Yeye dey smell. Again, if what you just put down is your understanding of prophecy, then i'm sorry you don't know what it means to prophesy then. Isaiah prophesied of the birth of a messiah, did he tell you the date the messiah will be born? Moses was a prophet of God and spoke of someone like him who is to come in the future, did he also give you the date of his coming? Several other prophets did prophesy of Christ's coming/birth and how many of them gave us the date of birth of Christ in their prophecies, or does your understanding of prophecy now make these men false prophets too? Hmmm! I wonder who we are actually dreading now, people like you or the ones you've been all about castigating. I know of the passages in first corinthians that had prohecy talked about in them; 1cor 12 and 1cor 14. None of them tells me what you've been saying here all these while. ADVICE: Read again 1cor 14 properly and you'd know what prophesying actually is all about. Don't come out here deceiving people. |
KoloOyinbo:Thanks. But i wasn't asking you to help me define the word charlatan. You asked that i give you "ONE true prohecy by THIS charlatan". And i asked you "Which charlatan exactly" because i didn't understand what you meant by THIS charlatan. Again, the "too simple" wasn't my term. You said something like "you feel sad for the abuse of the TOO SIMPLE to see through these false prohecies". So own up to what you say and take back your term and its credit, i'm ok. Should you be silent in the face of lies and unrighteouness? OF COURSE NOT! But should you be spreading things you don't have a CONCRETE PROOF of? |
KoloOyinbo:Well, i wouldn't know if you have an IDOL (whether a true or false one) but as for me, i have no business with idolatory of any form. Thanks for your advice but already i've always been and am still on that; WORSHIPPING NOT JUST GOD BUT THE TRUE GOD. "Cannot you see that these ain't true prophecies", and yet you can't give us the true prophecy. You have been criticizing that those ain't true prophecies yet you haven't helped anyone's course here by giving us the yardstick(s) for measuring true or fake prophecies. Criticize constructively, that's when you score valuable points. Yelling out false prophecies/prophets all year long without giving us the yardstick with which these are measured is tantamount to ranting. So prove your claims.....THAT'S ALL. |
KoloOyinbo:Sir, you are spreading nothing here. Taking to a faceless forum to critiicize somebody comes across to me more as character defamation than spreading the gospel of truth. There are many lost souls out there in the real world, make it a duty to teach them the truth and you'd sure be doing the real deal. How many of your neighbours have you spoken the gospel of truth to? How many friends and colleagues at work have you spoken it to? Go out in person (face to faces) and point out this OBVIOUS you claim to be pointing out here, that would signal you are for real. E-ranting is and has never meant spreading the truth sir. And if you don't mind, would you be gracious enough to tell us exactly what God's favour should be linked with. |
KoloOyinbo:It isn't your money being given to false prophets (like you say), the too simple ain't complaining either. So you still havn't said why you are hurting. Well, i don't understand what you mean by THIS CHARLATAN. Which charlatan exactly? |
KoloOyinbo:Oga you are just hurting. Just go and tell your own lies too and misuse God's name and get your own worldly goods than ranting over what a fellow man has made. Isn't it that simple? You claim not to be jealous yet your comments ooze nothing short of sheer jealousy. Na wa oh. |
KoloOyinbo:Are you part of the congregation whose money are being spent? If YES, then do yourself a whole world of good and cease contributing your money in any form. If you have friends and relatives who do as well, spread the message across to them too so they also would cease contributing, let's whether the it is you who actually prospers the church. |
KoloOyinbo:You who know better the way to righteousness and truth, shouldn't you be out there working hard and striving to convert as many to the way of truth? Instead you hide within the confinement of a faceless forum to ooze crap and yet claim you know better the way of truth. If you even know "jack" about the truth and way of righteousness and feel for the perishing (being deceived by the lot you claim are fake pastors), you who's real should be doing better to save such souls than resorting to NL throwing around tantrums. |
Esdb:God bless you sir. Thank you very much. Some people jump onto threads just to spew utter gibberish. People would never realize it when you are busy sowing your seeds in pains and tears but when you emerge reaping in joy and laughter, they come all out on you to devour you. All these critics have in no way sown a dime into his ministry and yet they are the loudest in painting him black. People who do the sowing/giving ain't complaining and some crap critics are taking overdose panadol for others' headaches. A WORD OF ADVICE: If any thinks it's his/her sowing into the ministry that keeps the church and the man of God flourishing, then let he/she cease sowing/giving let's see whether the church goes broke. God is not mocked, people. |
teufelein:Hahahahaha. What is this one ranting about. Put yourself together and put up something meaningful. "Intelligent folks should find a way to stone him to death", thought you were among these intelligent folks? Why haven't you stoned him to death? Or are you implying that you are also among the unintelligent folks? You have just come out here full of confusion and contradiction of yourself. I advise you take a nap and when you wake up, you'd be less frustrated and better coordinated to put up something reasonable. |
unmask:Hahahaha. Can you imagine? And how much do you always say it to that ailment? You'll be the first to throw aside this your statement and rush to the lab for tests, clinics for check ups/diagnosis and down to the pharmacy to ask for very effective medication at the slightest suspicion of any body malfunction and even advise friends/family to do so. Yet, here you are asking who needs scientific and medical breakthrough when there are so many life threatening ailments and diseases today. You probably wouldn't barb your hair if a clipper was used on someone and about to be used on you without being properly sterilized (if you dont own one), you sure wouldn't allow some instruments used on one patient to be used on you for the fear of some deadly diseases. And yet you ask who needs scientific and medical breakthrough. Researches and advancements in HIV, Cancer, Ebola et al treatments don't seem like scientific and medical breakthroughs to you right? This is the most hilarious comment i've seen in a while now. Some people just comment on issues for typing sake. Oga, even in the bible, physicians existed and atleast i know Luke a great apostle of God was one. Much as God has the power to do everything, he doesn't always do everything and that's why he blessed man with the brains to work. |
Dbboy:Hmmm! It baffles me how people just feel so comfortable talking carelessly. Please learn to keep quiet on certain things you dont know "jack" about. Bring out his prophetic declarations of the last three years let's check through to see how they are every year the same thing. And you are here talking about gullibility. Oga God is watching you oo. |
Ograke:And as you stated in your first line of statements, you still ended up not defining PROPHECY. Any man can do that, and you ain't doing yours yet? Ok o |
Bennyberry:There is nothing to be shameful of about that. I expected you who think you know better to tell us and not dropping just this comment as it hasn't in anyway helped better the ASSUMED IGNORANCE. |
bashorunbazok:Talk about reprobate minds. |
exxell:Really? Then give us prophecies na. |
DopeAngel:Then teach him what prophecy means if truly you know better and not attacking the comments with empty words. I can't see the essence of your show off here. Discredit the credibility of the guy's post and tell him what prophecy is and then you would have done a nice job. |
[quote author=DopeAngel post=29382927]please what is your definition of prophecy? From your write up i assume you dont know what prophecy means[ |
jkross:Your opinion bro and good for you. Some others wouldn't mind. |
Fhemmmy:I read the OP's post very well and i'm sure if you did too, you'd realize there was never a place the OP implied the fG will force people into using ONLY MADE IN NIGERIA cars. The policy much to my understanding still leaves all with the same options that has always been there; buy the made in Nigeria cars OR import a new car if you can afford it OR pay the heavy duty and still import your tukumbo, whichever one you wish for, it's your choice. Some countries, even South Africa don't even give you an option of importing tukumbos and today, their automobile industry is a commendable one. As for the factory thingy, productions are already ongoing as some cars are being made (atleast assembled) here in Nigeria; Innoson, KIA, Hyundai among others. |
lekside071:lekside071, be stable and make your point. Your are swaying the focus here. Are you interested in giving your critique on the policy or are you campaigning for "vote out GEJ". Who is going to buy the cars? (Who has been buying the tukumbos?) With what resources? (With what resources have the tukumbos been bought?) Where are the jobs? (With what jobs have these tukumbos always been bought?) And you can't even see that stifling these importations to a greater degree will enhance more demand of the made in Nigeria cars simultaneously entailing increase in productivity quantity to match demands and as such requiring more hands on deck (alas employments)? Sentiments will never allow most see anything good in someone they ain't giving their supports. |
redcliff:Now, much as chipping it in gradually would have been a nice step to take, the whole idea behind the bulk increase (like someone had pointed out earlier) is to make cost of acquiring a tukumbo car unattractive to the buyers as they'd consider it quite costly to purchase hence, improving the chances of people going for the home-mades (new cars of course). But if one still feels one can't settle for the home-mades, then the one is free to cough out the huge duty and go for his/her taste enriching the national treasury. The policy targets patronizing better our own local auto industries and shifting away from so much dependence on importation of automobiles. I believe a govt that has the interest of her people at heart is one that will deem it fit to stifle importation of certain commodities and simultaneously enhance her nation's domestic industry of such commodities thereby creating employments and increasing GDP than the one that will be lenient on importation thereby stifling the productivity of her own domestic industries that deal on such commodities. It may seem harsh on the short-run but the long-run reward is so phenomenal. The only issue here is, if the Nigerian factor that has often murdered so many promising policies like this can be dealt with to let the policy be implemented successfully and thrive. |
