People are missing the point. The point is Suleman abused the trust Christians placed in him. Even if thousands come to testify that Stephenie is a blackmailer, it wouldn't exonerate Sule of adultery and deviation of church funds (misappropriation).
You are among those lots missing the point; and Sule abused nobody's trust. FYI, nobody backing him is asking for his exoneration from the alleged crime, all his supporters are asking for is a clear convinction he committed the alleged crime. Until proven guilty, he remains innocent.
BTW, The Otobo girl and her handlers said they have enough bullets in their arsenal to fire him down; show us the evidences on media na, since they have chosen media prosecution and trial, NO! Stay off media na and take your arsenal to a competent court of jurisdiction and fire him down there once and for all, NO WAY!
It's crystal clear what this joke of a saga is all about. Some can as well choose to live in denial; their choice.

Financial assistance of about 12000 dollars? She is based in canada, one of the best countries in terms of social programs.
First, that's the girl's purported figure. The man didn't make mention of the amount.

Second, the man has doled out helps in like sum and even higher to others before. A certain actor Leo Mezie or so was a beneficiary of #8 million from him which is way bigger than the $12000 as at 2016. Some others in Nigeria have benefitted similarly too.

Again, if you are going to set up a business for someone in Canada, you aint gonna dole out just a million naira or two to get that done. $12,000 at the rate of #300 is 3.6m and at #350 is 4.2m. Outrageous?

Finally, Canada being one of the best countries in terms of social programs doesn't translate to anybody getting aid easily and at will, some are often left frustrated at attempts to access aid via these social programs.

Refute what claims? That they had sex, he impregnated her and wittingly aborted it? The man has come out to say he hasn't even met her in person, so the burden of proof is on her to show the man is lying and she's saying the truth. Or u mean the claim the there was a marriage introduction? That has been debunked to its least iota and irrefutably exposed as sheer falsehood and a winner for the "LIE OF THE MILLENIUM".
The Otondo of a person and her handlers are the ones who are paying sahara deserters, Keyamo and others to come and say and write rubbish in the media to defame the person of the apostle and garner her sympathy.

With all your write-ups, it shows you are matured enough to have omitted OKEKE's involvement in the whole saga. Could you please analyze how a $76,000 worth of SUV bought for Daniella on Apostle's name? And why was his name removed as the owner ?. (I am a front-end developer, I checked the source-code myself and Apostle's name was quoted as the Owner)
He left it out because he's wise enough to see that there's no substance in the Okeke joke.
Firstly, what is the proof that that plate number used to do the verification is what's on that car? Why didn't the accusers atleast zoom that plate no so everyone can see it clearly for themselves?
Again, removal or none from the source code doesn't in anyway indict the man. Did Suleiman remove or ask for its removal? And before you shout dumb, some self acclaimed programmers here said a source code can be altered from anywhere in less than a minute, i wonder why they aint re-altering the thing already to its default.

What kind of dealings with a known stripper include:

Sex is not something people do on the highway. You will never have a photograph of both having sex, unless the cleric is plain stup1d. But If it looks like, smells like, it is definitely the real mc Coy!

Again, I have nothing against having sex with (an) Ashawo(s). The real issue is the hypocrisy of these religious people and the huge sums involved in these matters.

The Daniella person isn't under any obligation to speak up. It's her discretion to or not. The Otobo person should be giving better account and evidences of her own relationship with Suleiman and not dragging others into her mess. Whatever Suleiman did (if there was any) with Daniella (the so said ex-gf of the man according to Otobo) is their biz and not hers and the Daniella isn't and hasn't cried foul since then. The Daniella is perhaps way too big to be embroilled in her mess. She should leave the hustling girl alone and deal with her mess with Suleiman personally

Many guys started relationships while having nothing and it didnt ruin them, infact, they ended up coming good in life with the support of their partners. Many others too did toe the same line and regretted doing it. So it's a thing applying wisdom. A dude should know if a relationship he's into is on the right track or the opposite hence whether to keep or quit it.

No! She didn't act as if the incoming government caused the problem. She did express disappointment in the present govt's failure to arrest the case. However, her disappointment in Buhari was on his reneging on the initial promise of bringing back the girls which he used during his campaigns.

Why transfer the burden of GEJ failures to GMB!. In time, I trust the general may just surprise us all. So Helen, your disappointment can wait!.

Our usual politics of taking sides and being sentimental has always been our bane since time immemorial. Did you really mean it when you said "transfer the burden of GEJ's failure"? I wonder which past administration hasn't borne the burden of her predecessor's failures and criticized if they dont try getting them fixed - not even the much maligned administration of GEJ was spared of that burden. Besides, it's even on these failures that any intended incoming administration centres her campaign, so i dont see any reason why the burden of correcting the same failures shouldn't be on them if finally elected.

Just my opinion though.

Hmmmm! Surprised how most people suddenly came to the realization that such a low pump price for fuel would be impossible to achieve for now in Nigeria. When GEJ brought down the pump price of PMS to only #87, majority - even here on nairaland - went haywire with criticisms and hate comments, solving CRUDE OIL PRICE arithmetics, stating how pump prices had dropped to below #45 in saudi arabia, kuwait and some other OPEC nations, hence insisting that fuel pump price should have come down to as low as even #38 or thereabouts in Nigeria instead of the #87 it was left at.

Now, it's obvious how it's almost, if not totally impossible in Nigeria. Most Nigerians and their politically inclined hate sentiments. "Cut off your head and set it rolling around everywhere for them, it still can't get them to give you credit for any good deed you do inasmuch as you ain't who they want".
Politics / Re: Final Result For Abia State Governorship Election. INEC DECLARE PDP WINNER by megacool360(m): 9:35am On Apr 16, 2015
Remarkable:

Tis been a while that I'd been trying to say the same thing to the poster you replied, as well as a particular poster that goes by Asha80, as well as others too... that all the negative news about Abia does not represent, even slightly, what is going on in the state. That Aba was not milked as a cash cow does not mean the governor did nothing either during his 2 terms in office. They usually go from saying he did absolutely "nothing" to criticizing the works that I manage to find online for them, saying its low standard blah blah blah. A state that had no government house is right, the capital, Umuahia, being more of an administrative town than a commercial location, will lack efficiency and effectiveness without the infrastructure and utilities for performing their functions.

Would a sellfish governor build a government house that he will vacate after his tenure is finished? or the state broadcasting station, BCA that now has a befitting complex, etc etc.... are all acts of altruism that Orji Uzor Kalu did. No one can point today something Orji Uzor did that still stands today he isn't in office.

Yet it was The Sun that championed all the false and negative news about Abia being the worst state etc....

What T. A accomplished in helath is worth mentioning, and the rewards he received attest to that.... I could go on and on... butin any case, i'll drop it here. I believe Okezie is a well qualified man and never doubted him from when I heard him speak of his plan for Aba, Oti also convinced me.

However, it was out of fairness that I decided to root and hope Okezie wins. The Ngwa/Ukwa-ngwa has never produced the governor since the creation of abia state. however, if his case was like that of Buhari, where on the grounds of fairness to the north to have back their Yar'adua truncated tenure, they present someone that should be retired or is not not well "qualified" (in my own view) for the job of governor... I wouldn't have supported him.

I believe Okezie has what it takes.

I believe can change Abia state... beginning from the historic town of Aba.

Oti can wait. 8 years will go quickly, 4, if Okezie fails in his mandate... when it comes back to Abia north senatorial distric, the Aros or other "villages" can come out with Oti or whomever.

If things change and they decide its Oti that won? I won't feel bad because I believe he is also capable. The way I see it?

It is a win-win for Abians. Thos ewhom has bought orji Uzor Kalu's antagonistic reports agaist T.A. Orji will definitely not think so.. but who cares? Okezie, I am sure, will deliver. wil be shocked if he doesn't... but my prayers are for him to go far and beyond our expectations.... while OUK can go and ... (do the needful. lol.

N.B. Dissociating himself from O.U. Kalu is the best thing T.A. did. Transfering money meant for teachers' salaries etc being hijacked and paid to OU Kalu as repayment for campaigning expenses while T.A. Orji was incarcerated is/was the most ridiculous and outrageous thing to befall Abia state - God's own state, God's own people.

Oga seriously i must confess you haven't failed to disappoint in your submissions if indeed you are in any way an Abian. Can you imagine defending the indefensible? His works are online indeed.

What works were you even talking about? Where were they done? I dont want to believe you are one of those lots who are proud celebrating mediocrity. For crying out loud, Abia state and Imo state are two of the south-east NDDC recognised states and are entitled to the 13% derivative for oil producing states. Now tell me, in what manner can you compare Abia state with Imo state? Infact, Imo state is the only south-eastern state that gets more federal location than Abia but which south-east state can you say Abia is better than development-wise? Is it Enugu, or Anambra or Imo? Infact even Ebonyi state still beats Abia in many perpespectives and you are telling me "people WRONGLY assert that TA Orji did nothing"? Oga na wa to you oo. Everyone who knows Abia state knows that Aba is the soul and heart of that state and generates no less than 65% of the state's internally generated revenue. Now what is the condition of Aba in his 8yrs as a governor? No single road is motorable, dirts and pungent smells everywhere, nothing just works.

Leave Aba aside, how about the welfare of civil servants in the state? Workers go 7 months without salaries. Different forms of levies are imposed on people and enforced by thugs and touts. Umbrella levy for recharge card sellers under umbrellas, wheel barrow/truck pushers forced to buy plate numbers for their barrows. Is it the endless levies imposed on motorists and shop owners? Gosh! Where and on what have those levies been used on.

It'll be nice if u can tell us this his health achievements u talk of. Meanwhile visit Imo state and see what it means to develop a state's health sector.

That man is a disgrace

don't you still get the point? So because he is popular you then put what is said on your head? When several Igbo masses threaten yorubas in igbo land and nothing is said about it; simply because they are not popular.

It's in the Nigeria blood.. TRIBALISM... igbos hausas, yourubas are guilty. Let's stop the hypocrisy of accusing just the oba and forgetting what our own house does

Quit defending the indefensible. The Oba deserves as much lashing with words as he got. Public figures are leaders and are meant to lead by good examples because that's what leadership entails. A leader isn't meant to be careless with words irrespective of what is obtainable in the society. We criticize those in authority for corruption even when we know 90% of the Nigerian populace are corrupt. Hypocrisy! Isn't it?

Now ask yourself, "Who criticizes these corrupt ordinary men and women in the street"? Yet daily those in authority are being hauled criticisms and insults at. Again, "Why is it so"? Simply because they are public figures cum leaders and are meant to lead by good examples. That the ordinary Nigerian is corrupt doesn't gratify a show of corruption by those in authority, rather they should be in a fight to curb it among the populace than living it themselves. That's why they are leading afterall. Same is applicable to the oba in question which is why i disagree with your first few lines. Because tribalism is a menace in Nigeria doesn't exonerate the Oba for making tribalistic comments because he is a leader and should be involved in curbing it and not propagating it.

As civil as Europe and America are, racism isn't still eradicated in their society. Some of their citizens are full blown into it but you wouldn't see their public figures making racist remarks and they are always kick against it in view to curbing it among themselves. That's what leadership is all about.

Much as it's undisputable that tribalism is rooted amongst every tribe, you can't equate the effects of such comments coming from a public figure like the Oba to that coming from an ordinary man/woman on the street.
Atleast this very happening and how bad it rode can go a long way to prove that comments from leaders and those from the commons ain't in the same degree effect-wise.
