oliverjiad:OMG! Can you imagine the reasoning of a Nigerian? And you'd jump off your feet to pay double for a made in china car. Inferiority complex, the bane of Nigerians. |
Montaque:Thank you bro. God bless you for that. Until people start appreciating some of these policies and know is for our own (Nigeria) good, we'd always remain so held back. |
redcliff:redcliff, the 70 percent wasn't effected all at once. The OP stated it started with 35 percent around february 2014 before the govt decided to increase it further by another 35 percent come the new year. So it's not as if the whole 70 percent came in at a go. Infact, until it becomes effected (if finally it will) come Jan 1, 2015, the import duty on tukumbo cars still remains 35 percent. |
clemz88:And you sure must be among the lots clamouring "BUHARI FOR CHANGE 2015, SAI BUHARI, etc" yet you talk about luxury. Go ask your parents about how much luxury they enjoyed during the Buhari regime back then. Austerity was at its peak and the order of the day then; wages slashed and several luxuries prohibited. Today, some people look back to then and come out to say that regime was the best, this and that. I keep wondering how people clamour for change yet remain so blind and daft to notice one when it surfaces. Nobody keeps doing the same thing and expects a different result. Even if Buhari should emerge as the No 1 citizen come Feb 14, he definitely will effect new policies (of which austerity will sure be paramount like in his previous regime), if he is to usher in any slightest kind of change. Nigerians really need to be open minded to constructively critique and avoid being blinded by sentiments, nepotism and some form of useless bigotry. |
redcliff:Do you still require an answer to this? Well, i'll be gracious enough to help you out. Would it be forced down your throat, NO! However, you've got two options; settle for the ones you have here, or cough up the money and go for your taste. It's your choice, whichever way you choose. The policy never said importation of tukumbos is banned, or did it? |
sophieabou:you are on point @sophieabou. May your own neva pass age 18 IJN...ouch! Sorry, you probably are past 18. Ok, how about revealing your age so i can make a proper prophetic declaration on your head? The spirit is leading, you know. |
3DCYCLOPS:hahahaha......you too mean o. More like perhaps God took her out from his own bone and not from any man's.....abi wetin u think? |

iampartyboy:I wonder why a human being would want someone who said "Abacha was not kwarrupt and no military regime was kwarrupt" as president. |

Segirl18:Ok Segirl18. But could you please describe in clear terms this mature mind guy you talked about. You mean the guy who if he calls you'd cry he disturbs; if he doesn't you'd say he's a cheat? Or you mean the one who if he lavishes money on you, you'd register him as mugu; and if he doesn't give you'd say he's so stingy? Please clarify us on this mature guy. |
If you give her sex, she will say you are after her body and just want to use her as a sex machine; if you don't give her sex she will say you are not man enough. If you give her money she will call you a mugu; if you don't give her money she will say you are stingy and greedy If you are very caring and always pampering her, she will take you for granted; if you are not caring and always yelling at her she will say you don't love her. If you always call her she will say you are disturbing her; if you don't call her she will say that you are cheating on her. If you dress very smart and attractive she will call you a player; if you don't dress very smart and attractive she will call you a dirty guy. If you are quiet and don't socialize a lot she will say you are too boring; If you socialize and mix up well, she will say you are a playboy. Stay close to her often and even help her in the kitchen or some other domestic chores, she will say this man is a woman wrapper; Stay away and don't help her in the kitchen or other house chores, she will say this man is using her as a slave. WHAT DO U REALLY WANT GIRLS ? |
kelechiMarie:Hahahahaha.....girls will never cease to be girls shaaa. Dem don modernize the name from gold digging to having a scale of preference. Lwkmd. Well, i ain't amazed anyways, it's in the female folks' blood. They have that knack and calling to always modernize things. No wonder Kasarachi will say she's Kassy, Nneka will say she's Nekky, Bukola will say she's Bukky, Uloma sef go come say her own na Lumia. Chai! Deris God oo. All these gold you are digging in those pockets will speak oo. |
kelechiMarie:Really? Good. Then the girl should also be kind and gracious enough to heartily answer the name "GOLD DIGGER" when she's being referred to by that name and quit whinning about it. |
quivah:Lol.. Idd. Chisos! You mean the gold digging sef get classes? O mehn! Guys are in for real trouble oo. |
temmy16:Nice one there. I like you for that. Well, that's just one of those rare scenarios with guys. Now, would you be gracious enough to also tell us the story of the other ten girls and how they acted it out on their boyfriends? |
Mynd44:You mean like when you approach the same woman again at a later time in your nice car and she be like "wow, let's paint the town red", even without your asking her for a ride together? Standard kor, Comfortable ni. Gold digging runs hard in the veins of most ladies. |
Riclord001:Here comes one of our patriots indeed. Insurgency is for the FG alone to fight. I see. What has been the contribution of the governors of those states towards fighting the insurgency? I guess that's none of their responsibilities. Ordinary hunters at a point devoted themselves to help rescue their land and governors and other elites of these states still fold their arms waiting for FG. Dem neva serious, dem go wait for FG tire. The federation is divided into states to make governance easy. If a governor fails to do the needful in his state, that's his failure. The FG's duty is to offer assistance when the government of the state can't handle the issue alone. When these states and their so called governors and elites are ready to cooperate with the FG in earnest, Boko Haram insurgency would be gone swiftly like the stars of the morning. Until then, they can keep enjoying the insurgency while they keep accusing the FG of failure. And when you talked of Mr-stealing-is-not-corruption, i guess you meant the man who declared the Late Abacha a saint and maintained he didnt steal govt/public funds? I mean the man who stated that none of the military regimes was corrupt? Hmmm! Talk about kettle calling pot black. Birds of the same feather. |
arsetalks:Mtchewww. Oga hold your peace and cease the insults jare. Who is expecting him to reveal much? As if they can even achieve the much in earnest. A sincere and ready to work/serve government reaveals a certain number of agenda (4-point, 5-point etc) that she is much capable of seeing through in her tenure anywhere - be it on TV, radio, social media, the streets, ceremonies et al - because those form her core plans and mission for the nation and people she is about to govern. If you think that revealing their agenda for the nation on a social media is unethical, then what exactly did he do? Telling us fairy tales i guess, right? |
Thanks dkdigits. I appreciate your concern. Please are shampoos safe to be used on the face also? I've always thought they are for the head/hairs alone. Some offline advice from friends have also suggested stuffs like Selsun, Nizoral cream etc. Someone also advised he takes Itraconazole tablets. Plz do you or anyone else have an idea of the efficacy of these products? Thanks once more. |
Good day my good people of the Health section on Nairaland. Compliments of the season to y'all. To the doctors, medical practitioners and anyone else who've got a clear and good knowledge on the about to be said issue, i'd gladly appreciate your inputs. He (a male cousin of mine) seems to be in utter hate of himself at present. His face - especially the bridge and creases of his nose, beneath his lower lips, the moustache area and around his mouth region, the part between both eyes just a bit above the nose and some parts of his cheeks - all are really affected with this kinda skin decolouration (more like light orange colour; of course he is dark complexioned). It actually doesn't itch nor sting even a bit. He's had this issue for no less than two years now though the stuff does tend to disappear (not completely anyway) after sometime and re-appears anytime again. It seems worse during harmattan seasons. Of recent, he spoke with a doctor friend and after he was being interrogated by the doctor, he said he suspects SEBORRHOEIC DERMATITIS and asked him to try Vista plus (an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial) cream. The problem is that he's used this cream before and have used a few others like funbact-A or smtin like that, Aquasulf etc. to no much positive effect. Plz who has any idea/knowledge of this thing called SEBORRHOEIC DERMATITIS and how it can be tackled. Your inputs and views will sure be highly appreciated. HAPPY YULETIDE to y'all once more. |
mynairatime:And finally cretins start making their way into nairaland. |
safarigirl:Madam abeg wake up to reality. You ain't wiser than the elite who've made it that a contestant of any position/office should make his/her AGENDA known and public. A man is only held accountable for or judged by his words/promises. Common sense has got nothing to do with this. If an aspirant has an agenda for his/her to-be followers, then he/she definitely has to make it known to them in clear and comprehendable terms. |
royalblood21:You mean on Africa Magic abi MTV Base? Mtcheww. Corruption kor, Judge ni. |
nora544:A concise definition of a lunatic. Please you need to go back to the lunatic asylum. |
Aahhh nah wahhh oooo
