At worst.....any man having fun with his ''friend''....is likely to get a divorce....and social disgrace. Rich or poor.

And this being Nigeria....probably would marry the girl.

It is the young lady who gets the worst of it. No self respecting boy from a 'good' family would marry her now...
must everything be marriage? dis nairaland boys sef. have u thot of her likeihood of gettin a job? getting pronotion at work if shes working or even getting sacked? what about societal stigma from both men and women?

Politics / Re: Lesson For Nigeria, As Senegal Vote To Scrab Senate by Megaphone: 12:28pm On Jun 19, 2015
[quote author=HungerBAD post=34915919]Senate should be scrapped? I don't see that happening in Nigeria for a lot of reasons.

Senegal does not have 180 tribes like Nigeria.

Senegal is not as diverse and rich like Nigeria.

And in any democratic setting anyway, an arm of the government is not just thrown away to save cost.

If President Buhari even remotely suggests something like this? The Tanoids, SaTanoids, GEJ apologists, Buhari voyeurs like Barcanista and their fellow travelers will go crazy calling him a dictator.

Dedicating this page to the Blacks in South Carolina, that lost their lives on Wednesday from a racist white man.

Jakande?

Let me do you the favor of giving you a brief history but not much details and no names.

I attended a Government Technical College, Graduated and got employed into PZ using just my nabteb certificate with a pay that many graduates of this days only dream of.

Worked for 3yrs with pz while doing my bsc, resigned and started my own firm.

All started from my jakande secondary school days. I'm proud of my jakande sec certificate.

What have you been able to achieve with your TOP NOTCH sec certificate?.
so workin with pz is now an achievement or using a nabteb cert? u hav no idea about anything. you went to atechnical school and got employed in factory- wats the achievement about dat? isnt it ur mates that developed snapchat and facebook? go and sit down ppunkasess

Sorry to say this, but this analysis is dumb, lacks depth, and any commoner on the street can postulate these same unfounded theorems. I thought they had something cerebral to write.

Btw, if APC wants to deal with Ekweremadu, and even Saraki himself, they should quickly consult the Otta farmer. Only him knows how he kept removing one renegade Senate President after another between 1999-2007.

Education / Re: The Day They Opened The Toilet In Hall 4-uniben by Megaphone: 5:21pm On Jun 13, 2015
bushdoc9919:
The only solution is.......INCREASE THE FEES.

Yes....if you want good residential facilities in Nigerian universities.....INCREASE THE FEES....or privatize the hostels. Even if it means hostel fees of N150000 per annum....at least for a clean working toilet....it is worth it!

Education funding in Nigeria is not enough. If you pay N5000 .....you get N5000 toilet. Pay N2million....you get first class.

But I am not suggesting we pay N2million.

I am suggesting, however, that we face the reality. Nigeria does not have enough money for education. Either PMB finds an extra N5 trillion yearly for universities....or we privatize all of them, and focus all the saved money on primary and secondary education. And we can increase taxes while we are at it.

If you want first class....you pay for first class. Accept no substitutes.
exactly. primary and secondary education should be free compulsory andof good quality. on the other hand univeraity education should attract tuition fees. if u really good u get a scholarship f not u pay through your nose. the foundation of education anyway foraa man is the basics i.e the primary and secondary.

I like the Yorubas so much and you know why. Because in a situation like this as per the National Assembly Leadership fiasco they always come up with something to console themselves and in this case i saw them saying that Saraki is a yoruba, since kwara state is a yoruba state n he bears the name Bukola, lol. Pls the last time i checked, kwara state is a mix of fulanis n yoruba and despite having a yoruba name just like Rotimi, Badamosi, et al, Saraki is a full Fulani Man of Malian etract, so keep consoling yourelves.
i can tell u that saraki asked for his breakfast this morning in yoruba language. keep fooling urself idiiot.
