As Christians, we are brand ambassadors of Christ on earth therefore we must portray our kingdom to unbelievers in the right light. Our responsibility is not to God alone but also to the world as demonstrated by the cross. We must know that it is rare to find unbelievers reading the bible; our lives are the bibles they read. Thus, we must not be stumbling blocks in the path of others. There are things which are not necessarily bad but because of the negative message that would be sent out to unbelievers who are reading our lives, we must avoid them. An example is an unmarried sister spending the night in a brother's house. The world will read a meaning to that even though no sin is committed. The bible says flee all appearances of evil. We must be conscious of the fact that the devil is an accuser and so be careful that we do not leave him room to provide false evidences to dilute the message of Christ we preach to those not yet saved. As children of the kingdom, we need to always allow peace be the Umpire in our relationship with both believers and unbelievers. We have to allow peace enforce rules in our relationship and in our marriage. Husbands should use the peace of God in handling their wives and children. Peace is what tells you to say sorry to your spouse even when you are right. It is what makes you speak good words over your children even when they are not doing well in school at the moment. This peace is only given to us when we accept the life of Christ and walk in the consciousness that we have it. Prayer: Father, grant me the ability and the endorsement to walk in the consciousness of Your peace. CONFESSION: I experience peace in my marriage, career and in my walk with God. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1Corinthians 1:30). The Greek word translated "sanctification" in our opening verse could also mean "the sanctifier." Christ, the sanctifier, has come to live in us! He's not in us trying to sanctify us; He has already sanctified us. He's our "separator"; He sets us apart and sanctifies everything we do. He has separated us from the rest of the world, to Himself, and from sin and evil unto righteousness. We're the distinguished ones; the chosen of God unto His glory and created for His pleasure. Psalm 4:3 says, "But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him." Another beautiful thing is, now that Christ the sanctifier lives in you, you've become one with Him: "For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren" (Hebrews 2:11). He has thus made you a sanctifier; meaning that you can sanctify everything that has to do with you: your money, food...anything at all- by speaking words that cleanse. This is in sync with what the Lord Jesus said in John 15:3: "...ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you." We're the ones bearing His wonderful, precious, and cleansing words today. When you preach or teach the Word, people are cleansed and purified; grace, love, and the goodness of God are ministered to the hearers. Let this be your cogitation and contemplation; before long, everyone around you will know you're different, and testify that you're indeed the King's representative. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO GET IN LIFE. Wisdom is the principal thing,get wisdom and with everything you will ever get,GET UNDERSTANDING. Proverbs 4:7. Dearly beloved,understanding is the greatest thing anybody can get. Faith works with understanding,marriages are preserved with understanding. The word of God is Powerful only through understanding. Knowledge without understanding is vain,wisdom is fruitless without understanding. Everything happens to you for a reason,it takes understanding the reason for that situation to work together for your good. Understanding simply means to perceive the meaning of the happening or the reason for the happening. For example; if a guy promises to marry you and he later disappointed you,everybody may think that he jilted you,or he dumped you. But understanding will give you rest and joy. When you understand that both of you were never meant to be and that future problems would have still separated the marriage. A broken relationship is far better than a broken marriage. Why you did not get that big job is not because the devil was wicked,but because you were not fully prepared or experienced enough,so take a smaller one to prepare you for the bigger one. Someone gave you money and that money was stolen,it could be because that money was carrying a curse and God did not want you to partake of it,probably it was stolen before it was given to you. Understanding will help your prayer. Everything happen in life for a reason. Pray for understanding,so that you will not pray amiss. God will open the eyes of your understanding in Jesus name. TOPIC,CRUCIFIED IN OUR PLACE Scriptural Ref: 2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. 2 Timothy 1:9 There're those who think that if their good works outweigh their bad works, God will accept them. That's not the way God thinks. A little drop of impurity in a large volume of pure water corrupts the whole volume. In the same way, one "little sin" in a man's life can never be outweighed by many "good works." Your acts of self-righteousness won't answer for you before God. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins. Ephesians 2:8-9 says "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." When He was crucified, your sins were laid on Him, and as a result, He took your place of punishment, and gave you His righteousness. He wasn't crucified because He did something wrong, no. He was crucified in our place. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." This is the message the whole world needs to hear: God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He died to save your soul, then the salvation He purchased with His blood, belongs to you! No matter how bad, wayward, or evil a man may have been, if he'd confess the Lordship of Jesus Christ, his spirit will be recreated; He'd at once become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Halleluiah! During IPPC I want to talk about the message for Last November. God was talking about something from a year ago. This November is the month of In gathering. And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end. (Exodus 34:22 KJV) When we were sharing last year, we shared about this shall be the beginning of the month. Now this in gathering is for the end of the year. It means you are going to begin to take stock, is there anything left out from this year? The result for your prayers, did to really thank God for the result of your prayers. Take stock of how much impact you made. Take stock of the souls you won. Take stock of those you influenced this yeas. Take stock of your giving. If you give seriously to God, you will stake stock. Take stock of what went on in your business The bible talks about taking stock of the gathering of the harvest at the end of the year. Take stock of your financial blessings in the year. Write them down and go through them. Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord God, the God of Israel. For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the Lord thy God thrice in the year. (Exodus 34:23, 24 KJV) I will drive out nations before you He is saying he will enlarge your territory/ coasts. You will occupy the land, he will do this when you go for the convocation, which was 3x in a year. This means God is giving you larger territories for you to expand, in your families, businesses and whatever you do. Praise The Lord. November 2013 Communion Service Scriptures: 1 Peter 3:10-12, 1 Thes 4:11 Notes The Spirit goes deep into human nature so listen to Him. Your life can be glorious everyday. That's what Jesus came to give us. To live a good life, don't tell lies and keep away from evil. Don't speak evil of others. 3 Things To Do To Be Successful In Life 1. Quit wanting to be somebody else-have value for yourself. Words are seeds, sow the right ones into you. You are the harvest of the seeds sown into your life over the years. You are the character of the seeds you chose to plant in your life. Words are the most beautiful gift given to us by God. We journey in the direction of our words, so speak good words. When we speak hurt to other people we destroy the programming of good and righteousness. 2. Quit trying to change other people. Start seeing people the way God sees them. We make adjustments to live with other people, they are wonderful just the way they are-this is love. Anytime we show the picture of Jesus to people they see themselves. 3. Quit judging other people. Mind your own business if you want to be successful and happy. The Gossip passes stories on & on, a righteous man puts a stop to it. Don't project and propagate hatred. In Mark 4:26-27, Jesus said, "…So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how." All the sower had to do was to sow the seed; and the seed is the Word, and the heart of man is the ground that receives it (Mark 4:14-15). People who talk negatively never get away with it, because what you say is what you get (Mark 11:23). For the one who consistently speaks poverty and lack, for example, even if all the wealth in the world were delivered to him free, he would still become poor. The principle is explained in 1 Corinthians 2:9-12 (read entire reference). God has prepared great things, beyond human imagination, for those who love Him, and by His Spirit, He has revealed those things to us. The Spirit searches or scans all things—the deep and profound things of God. He’s the only one that knows them, just as no man knows the things of a man’s heart except the spirit of that man: "For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God" (1 Corinthians 2:11). Therefore, the human spirit functions like the Holy Spirit: he scans through you, collating your words: words you’ve sown in your spirit, so as to produce them for you as harvest. Keep sowing the right words into your heart. Only speak words that are in sync with what God has said concerning you. Even now, declare that you’re full of joy, peace, prosperity, divine health, and victories! Keep sowing faith-filled words into your spirit. PRAYER Dear Father, your Word is the light that guides my spirit, helping me to say only those things that are consistent with your plan, will and purpose for my life. Thus, my life is a harvest of joy, peace, prosperity, health and promotions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. WINNING EACH DAY DEVOTIONAL 2Cor 2:14 And thanks be to God who ALWAYS causes us to triumph... Oct 21, 2013 THE FORCE OF FAVOUR Gen 41:14 - "Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh." Joseph was wallowing in prison not knowing that the night that his status would change was at hand. A 24 hour miracle that will change your status awaits you in Jesus' name. God had promised to give Joseph the promise but for thirteen years of his life he could not enter into it. Finally, God said the end has come and the end is now (Ezekiel 7:6). When God announced the end for Joseph he was sent for that same night. Esther had no idea that her story was about to change. She did not know that God was working behind the scene in her favour. No mention is made of Esther in the first chapter of the book of Esther though the whole book revolves around her God, her people and her life. I pray that everything that has been working for you but that has not yet happened to you, by the force of favour, will begin to manifest in your life in the name of Jesus. A feast was called in Esther chapter 1 but Esther did not show up because she was an orphan and less privileged. By the force of favour, she was catapulted from the back side to the front row. AN EXCITING LIFE . Thursday, 10th October Pastor Chris For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.Romans 14:17 The more you study the scriptures, the more convinced you'll be that Christianity isn't a religion at all, but a living, exciting, fulfilling, and extraordinary walk in the supernatural. I made this discovery early in life as a young lad. The more I studied the Word of God, the more excited I was about Jesus; I discovered that Christianity works. I discovered that the Word was living and active. I discovered that the miracles in the Bible weren't mere stories, and that the Holy Spirit was more than an influence. Let's look at some exciting examples in the Scriptures of some of those in whose lives the Holy Spirit manifested His extraordinary power. Judges 15:16 ,tells us how Samson overcame a thousand trained soldiers with the jawbone of an ass. In 1 Samuel 17:34-35, David testified how he killed a lion and a bear with his bare hands. Consider Moses: Once, he and the Israelites were hemmed in between the Red Sea, and the charging Egyptian troops. The Bible tells us that as Moses stretched his hand over the Sea, it split wide open for the Israelites to walk through on dry ground. How exciting and inspiring to know that the same Spirit that worked with these and other Bible characters, as well as the Lord Jesus, and the apostles, is the same Spirit that's at work in us today. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says, "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us." Ours is even better, because like the Lord Jesus, we have the fullness of the Spirit (John 1:16, Colossians 2:9-10). The same Spirit that raised Him from the dead lives in us today in His fullness (Romans 8:11); therefore, you can walk in fellowship with God as the prophets, the Lord Jesus, and the apostles did. You can live an exciting life of victory, success, and excellence by the same Spirit. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that has brought the reality of the divine life to light in me. I live a joyful, exciting, and glorious life in absolute liberty and mastery over Satan and all circumstances, in Jesus' Name. Amen. Oct 1, 2013 THE BEST BATTLE STRATEGY - HIGH PRAISE II Psalm 149:6-7 “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples;”. The verse talks of praise and then switches to executing vengeance. Praise is an 'elevator' that takes us high to the realm where we execute vengeance against the adversary. Every time we sing or worship God, we wage war against the enemy in heavenly places! There are lots of distractions around (such as unpaid bills, fears and insecurities, health challenges, etc) which tend to sabotage our praise. They affect our focus and try to steal time that should be invested in profitable venture. The obstacles which pose as distractions around us should be seen as reminders of all the extra reasons we are to praise God. Is your rent due? Praise God for giving you a house to live in the first place and for all the past rents you have paid. Sick? Praise God that you are still alive and kicking. Childless? Praise God you have a spouse. "Whatever you thank God for multiplies" (A golden principle you must always bear in mind - John 6:11-13). When we praise God, we acknowledge His sovereignty over our lives and our overwhelming love for Him. When we lift our hands in praise it forms a funnel shape which is indicative of our desire to be filled up with His fullness. When we lift our hands in praise, it is a show of trust. We lift our hands like children to our father, wanting to be carried. As you enter a new month, make thanksgiving a lifestyle - move from 'THANKS-GIVING' to 'THANKS-LIVING'. Praise is making room for you and catapulting you to a realm of explosive growth. CONFESSION - Praise is what I do and it is who I am. I will praise you Lord at all times and as long as I have breath in me... To the glory of God, he that was dead 2days came back to life immediately. He's presently receiving treatment for the bruises he sustained from d accident. Christ has abolished death. WHEN YOUR FAITH BECOMES BIGGER THAN THAT CHALLENGE. THEN THE CHALLENGE WILL DISAPPEAR WITHOUT ANY TRACE. Don't you know that Faith is what converts what God does in the spiritual to the physical? What that challenge is waiting for is for your faith to be bigger than it. The moment your faith becomes bigger. It ends on its own. This is why the most important thing in life is to grow your faith. H.I.V aids, cancer disappears the moment faith is bigger than it. I read a story about a woman that was on a wheel chair she read a christian book and her faith grew, she didn't know when she got up from the wheel chair to get something. After about two minutes she discovered that she was healed. What healed her was her faith. Mark 9:23. Don't joke with your faith. Do not wait for a challenge first before you grow your faith. Every word you receive is an opportunity to grow your faith. This is why I preach everyday. God has provided everything for you to live the best life. But everything is tied to your faith. Your faith is what converts what God has done to reality. It is your faith that converts the spiritual to the physical. How then can one know when his or her faith is bigger than a challenge? 1. When you begin to ignore the challenge. 2. When you begin to doubt your doubts and doubt your fears. 3. When that challenge is no longer a concern to you, even if it is still there. 4. When what God does or does not do stops determining how you love him. When you believe Him whether He acts or not. Beloved God just told me to tell you that His rain of abundance will fall on you today. That rain will answer all your questions and solve all your problems. Be blessed in Jesus name.
