Jose Mourinho has revealed how to get the best out of unsettled Arsenal star Mesut Ozil, affirming that neither a hard line nor soft approach is likely to work on the playmaker.

Ozil has cut an unhappy figure at the Emirates Stadium in recent months, missing several key games amid rumours that he could soon be leaving.

Manager Unai Emery once more overlooked his charge on Saturday, leaving him on the bench as Arsenal overcame Chelsea 2-0 in a vital Premier League win.

Mourinho knows the former Germany international better than most, having taken him under his wing during the pair’s time at Real Madrid.

And he believes that he has the answer over the mystery of how to make enigmatic Ozil tick on and off the pitch.

“Honestly, I don’t know what is going on, if he is having a physical problem or not,’ Mourinho explained on beIN Sports.

“I know that there was some problem in relation to his contract, he is leaving on a free then he is not leaving on a free. I think finally he signed a contract and decided to stay.

“So there is not an issue with contract, so I believe there is something with the physical point of view or there is some confrontation of ideas with Unai. I think the nature of football is exactly this nature.

“With me, Ozil played amazingly well but maybe not with Unai. And maybe a certain player that I don’t remember was phenomenal with Unai but doesn’t work as well with me. It’s just the nature of empathy.

“I just feel that Ozil is the kind of player that needs the both sides of it. By one side, if you are just sweet with him, you lose his natural aggression because he’s not naturally a very strong, physical player in terms of aggression.

“If you are too strong with him and forget that he also needs a bit of care, a little bit of love, you don’t find the right balance. So I think it’s about finding the right balance with him.”

Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, has admitted that Arsenal were more “mentally determined” than his players, following their 2-0 defeat on Saturday evening.

Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny scored the goals in the first half, as the Gunners claimed all three points at the Emirates.

The Blues finished the game with only one shot on target and hardly troubled Unai Emery’s team, despite having superior possession.

“We played against a team who were more mentally determined then we were and this is something I can’t accept,” Sarri told Sky Sports.

Speaking further on mentality of Chelsea players, the Italian said:

“They don’t have that ferocity and it’s something that is difficult to change.”

Corps member arrested after reporting suspected fraud to the police

Ayodeji Felix Olaniyi, a corps member serving in Abak, Akwa Ibom State, is currently behind bars over a fraudulent payment he received from a person he allegedly sold bitcoin to.

In a mail received some hours ago, while giving an insight into what led to Olaniyi’s arrest, one Olowoleye Olayinka wrote: “Olaniyi was arrested on the 14th of January 2019 (Monday).

He is into selling of bitcoin. He sold bitcoin to a client who resides in Delta State. The client hacked a woman’s UBA account in the same Delta State to pay him through mobile transfer to his GTB.

He noticed the name of the client who bought the bitcoin is different from the account name that paid him. He quickly went to police station (A) Division Uyo, on the 12th January 2019 to lay a complain to DPO about the transaction. .

The DPO was not on seat so he met with IPO and wrote down a statement. On 14th January 2019 (Monday), he went back to the police station (A) Division Uyo, to ensure the DPO was aware of the statement he wrote. .

However, the DPO advised him to go to his bank and confirm the transaction and to also give him feedback of what happened. But on getting to the bank, he discovered his account was frozen. .

The bank then held him and police from (C) Division at Aka Etina Road, later arrested him and nothing has been done about it. The owner of the hacked account who raised the alarm that led to his arrest, is nowhere to be found till date.”
