Revenge And Vengeance... While growing up, this were my biggest challenges, had to make some certain wrong decisions that did not only break me but made me, it also took me to the wrong path and finally, i made it to the right path, they say experience is the best teacher, I endorse that statement 100%. After seeing life at a very young age for a while [i dont know if have seen life yet, but for the little have seen so far], i fought with the devil, served the devil for a while [not sure i did lol, but i think i did, i was in sin] Before i decided to seek the Lord. The bible says man's goings are of the Lord . "Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?" (Proverbs 20:24). So that means, i was blind for a while and then my eyes were opened, God directed me to His word. This time last year, if anybody had told me that i will be reading the bible, i would have bet with my last kobo and disagreed with my last sweat. Back then there were some certain challenges, and things i had to make quick decisions about, i did it in a wrong way and i paid for it, bible says you will pay for any wrong you do. "But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons." (Colossians 3:25). 2years ago i would have sworn to murder anyone who provoked me, i was quick to retaliate, i was aggressive, arrogant e.t.c. But i believe i have paid for those wrongs hence why i was blind 4 so long. As i came close to the bible, I read some very interesting passages that changed my mind on revenge and vengeance, not only my mind, it changed me too for the better, maybe it can change you too. "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." (Romans 12:19). "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. " (Matthew 5:38-39). "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21). There you have it, revenge is of the Lord, you have to live a peacèful life, repay evil with good and then be a good example to your friends and other people you mingle with. Read the bible and follow His words, and all the blessings you need will pour on you from heaven, and you will be temporarily saved. Revenge is not of God, it is a tool of the devil. 6 Likes |

(Deuteronomy 14:29).[/b] I believe those verses are self explanatory, nothing like goto one pastor or church and drop your tithes theqe. You cant do those things up there anymore even if you try, so what you should do now is this, get your mind off tithes, i believe if you cook at home or get crops and take it to Oyedepo's church as tithes, he will slap the devil out of you. Smh, money is what he wants. So now what you do is this. "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." (James 1:27). Truth be told, Keshi is the best coach Nigeria could ever wish for, massive thinking and idea. We need good attackers and scorers, confident players that can hold the ball, if you are with the ball your opponent cant score, Spain doesnt have the best defenders in the world, but their mid fielders and attackers are capable of holding the ball for so long. With good mid fielders and attackers, we wont have to worry about defenders anymore. Nice one Keshi |
