Another trash from a conman cum fraudster called pastor. Why would I even think of marrying a lady that prays for 5mins talk more of 1hr? When I'm actually looking forward to marrying an atheist. Who doesn't know that prayer is the most useless invention by men. I can't see myself marrying a woman that will turn my house into a noise zone with some gibberish called prayers. Who prayer don epp self? Abeg adebori or whatever, leave trash for ESWAMA biko

From what is happening in Nigeria and the world at large I'm still surprised that people still take the fairy tales from different religions seriouse. This woman just died for nothing. My advice to u religitards is that u should practice your religion with caution. If you are a christian and u notice that promoting your religion in certain areas could endanger ur life better stop, same goes for the muslims. Seriously there is no moafucker (God) sitting up dia in the sky that cares about. Hopefully one day u will get to realize that religion is the worst thing that has happened to Africa.

congratulations to the great debaters. This is not the first time Ebonyi is taking first in both quiz and debating competition. Ebonyians are very intelligent people, the only problem is that many parents do not have the resources to give their children qualitative education. I know many of my class mates back then in secondary school who were very intelligent but could not afford to further their education due to financial problems. We are very tenacious and hardworking. With time, the mouths that have been spewing ill about Ebonyi will be the ones saying "go to Ebonyi and see the wonders". Ebonyi will surprise Nigeria
Education › Ebonyi State Wins 2016 Democracy School Debate by Mekanus(op): 3:25pm On May 30, 2016
Ebonyi State has won the 2016 Democracy School Debate. It defeated Taraba and Police teams at the finals of the championship organised by the President’s School Debate Nigeria (PSDN) a non-governmental organisation from May 24 to May 28 in Abuja. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that PSDN comprised private and public sector stakeholders. Dr Adaeze Nwauzor, Ebonyi Centenary Debate team leader, told NAN on Monday that Ebonyi would represent Nigeria in an international school debate competition in Indonesia.
By this feat, we have qualified to represent Nigeria in the forthcoming international school debate competition in Indonesia. ``We were also presented with a trophy by Hajia Aisha Buhari, wife of the President, at a dinner party with the students.
My team won because of hard work coupled with their intelligence. We took time to select the best students in terms of debate for this competition. ``We started by training the trainers - debate handlers – then we went round the 13 local government areas and selected the best speakers from each local government.
We went to three zones and selected the best speakers; then at the semi-grand finale, we selected the best speakers,’’ she said. She commended, Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi, and his wife for their support and commitment to human development. Nwauzor, who is the Senior Special Adviser to Umahi on Higher Education, said that the governor’s support and passion for educational development of the state contributed to the team’s victory. She also thanked the organisers, especially, Dare Olotu, PSDN’s National Coordinator and all the members of the committee, for a well organised debate. NAN recalls that Olotu had at the opening ceremony, said that the essence of the competition was to bring Nigerian students to debate on motions affecting the country. He said that wining team would have automatic qualification to represent Nigeria in the forthcoming international schools debate in Indonesia. Olotu said the topics of debate were: ``This House Believes that the Agricultural Sector has Better Prospects for Nigeria’s Economic Growth.
This House Believes that Posting of National Youth Corps Members should be Limited to their Geo-political Zones.’’ No fewer than 13 teams drawn from Taraba, Imo, Niger, Ebonyi, Anambra, Kaduna, Oyo, Sokoto, Benue and FCT, participated in the competition.

Considering the resources at the disposal of Egwu's administration, he started in 1999 when Ebonyi was nothing and had absolutely nothing. He started by giving Ai, the state capital a facelift by reconstructing all the major roads in Ai. He introduced free and compulsory primary and secondary education throughout his tenure, started Ebonyi State University at its temporary site and later built the permanent site which was commissioned before the end of his administration and also funded EBSU very to enable them run medical school which saw EBSUTH won the best state owned medical school in the country in 2005. Aggressive rural road contruction and electrification projects of which my village is a beneficiary. In fact Egwu tried his best considering that Ebonyi had nothing when he came in and today, Ebonyi can compete favourably with her mate states and even her elder States in all facets of human endeavour. Had it been that Elechi started from where he stopped, we would've by now.
Bro most of the major roads you think Egwu constructed were actually done by the then military government. The free education you also talked about is also an avenue Egwu used to loot Ebonyi in conjunction with Austin Igwe Edeze. This said free education was equally done better by Elechi.
The permanent site of Ebsu shouldn't even be there because he did nothing other than acquiring peoples land without compensation. And about the aggressive rural road construction, hmmm I wonder where that one happened because I'm from Ezzangbo and almost the same community where Egwu leaves now and throughout out his tenure the only roads he constructed are those that leads to his home and farms. So I do not see any of the things you mentioned here worthy of given Egwu encomium.

The problem is that Elechi did not start from where Egwu stopped. Egwu did very well but Elechi came and started fighting with everybody and at the same time carrying out big projects at the same while leaving all the roads in the state to rot away. The projects include ochudo city which will house the new government house, industrial estates, residential areas/executive quarters, etc, oferekpe water scheme, unity bridges (up to 25 heavy bridges), international market, new rice mill industry in three different areas, etc... None is completed.
Please could you enumerate some of the projects done by Egwu that makes u think he did very well?

Bros 30 bottles of Hero beer for you. Egwu virtually did nothing during his eight wasted years in office. Tell one project one can point and said, 'this is Egwu's legacy?'
Like you said, we have only had two Governors in Ebonyi state, Elechi and the present Governor.... I pray that Dave Umahi will even do half of what Elechi did during his time. Elechi legacy will outlive the present generation. Elechi makes ground fertile for Dave to thrive.
My brand is gulder bro. I'm happy that somebody is not blind folded like others to see that Egwu was a waste to our dear Ebonyi. So far Martin Elechi is still the best governor Ebonyi ever had, hopefully Dave will out do him.
