You still do not understand what I meant. Everyone who asks for blessings from any priest irrespective of whether he is a sinner or not, should be blessed. This is not the same as blessing gay union. The Pope does not approve the blessing of gay union, but gays too could be blessed. After all, even Jesus loves the sinner but hates sin.

The Pope never approved gay marriage. He only meant that gay couples could be blessed just same way priests bless objects and individuals. It has nothing to do with blessing of their union. People just misinterpreted the Pope.

Some persons have argued that the spiritual can never be proven scientifically. That made me to wonder if the mind which everyone knows really exists, is a spiritual or a material reality.

Let's look at it from a philosophical point of view. Is the mind a material or a spiritual reality? It is true the mind needs the brain to function properly, but can we say the mind and the brain are exactly one and the same thing? When we store up information in our mind, are they stored up as material or immaterial substances? If our brain were to be scanned, would we see those images we stored in our minds?
