You're welcome.
It's said that satin paints do peel off. But it's almost 9 years now since we switched to satin at my house and there are no signs of peeling. The most important is to choose a high quality paint that one can afford. Doesn't have to be satin.

If you don't like white, you can use off white, anything close to white or biege. My most preferred for your living room as it is already is white cos it's universal and will absorb the wine/brown/black/coffee combo you already have in there.

Pls take a look at this picture (it's not my house though). This is what I envisioned for your living room. (that's off white).

Yea have changed it to window shutter,I no longer use curtain. Wine color window shutter.

Is this your living room? It's beautiful. White walls will complement the dark tiles and dark wall of the room even better. Paint your walls white (satin paint at least and give your kids strict stay off rules). Change the curtains to window shutters, choose bright colors. Bright colors give life to anything! Pls, try it. You'll be happy with the results. Also, if you don't normally place anything on the centre table you should consider removing it. It takes up space and It's just a naija thing

I'm never doing this again in my life! Being with someone I do not love? Never again. Me and ex were together for 7 long years. I didn't love him. I couldn't. Mum always told me better a man loves you than the other way round. I believed her.

I was patient with ex, hoping I'd love someday soon. Lies. That's the worst piece of advice I've got from anyone. The two MUST love each other. "It takes two".

It was hard breaking up with ex cos we were pretty close. But seeing that the relationship was going no where it had to be done, precisely.

Ex was really bitter when we broke and cursed me a lot for it. I didn't care so much for his angry words. All I craved for was to be apart and start living again.

He is married now. But I can tell you he got married to spite me. What he doesn't know is how happy it makes me since it takes the pressure and guilt off my neck.

As a matter of fact, we talked yesterday. He doesn't understand that I don't owe him. It's five years now since we broke and I remind him, "you have a wife!".

There's no pride in being with someone you don't love. It's a waste of time. Waste of youthful years. And I'm never doing that again. Even if l end up an ancient crone, I'll never again.

People do change. Like I. I've dated broke guys in the past. Not anymore. I'm wiser now. One of them, my ex- my first. He had nothing. And I was beautiful. His friends admired our relationship. They always congregated around us whenever we were together. But he left me wretchedly. I was lost. I couldn't understand it. His friends too. He treated me like a leper. He didn't even do me the honor of breaking up properly. He just said he needed time but refused to see me. (he lived just a street before mine). My grades suffered. He looked at me with a sneer, "I checked your class' results. You aren't one of the bests". Yet, he was the cause.

I was young, naive, innocent...and was affected by everything.

Now he wants back. How can that be? He claims to be a better person and closer to God. Perhaps he is. But how can that change yesterday? I'd rather be a spinster for life than court him again.

He's living unbelievably large now. I already knew but he found a way to tell me by mentioning the brand of car he drives. I said to him, "when we were together, you had nothing. Is it now your money will mean anything to me?"

My point is. A man that'll leave will leave whether broke or not. So why be with a broke guy anyway?

What kind of question is this? Is the guy your father? Rephrase the question abeg: Can you marry on a 200k family income (ie yours and hussie's). I mean if you're expecting your guy to be earning at least 100k it means you're earning within that range as well. I'm not saying we shouldn't set standards for ourselves but ensure that you're that quality person you want your partner to be. Quality is subjective.

She's just a child yet she said she'd rather cut off her head than steal again? That's not true remorse but an empty promise as no one would cut off their head if caught stealing. Imagine a child with such outrageous statement! That girl will manipulate her way out of anything.
