That shows u how bad this players are.

Or did rohr destroy their ball playing skills in 3 days?
The players will play according to instructions.

I have said it and i will say it again.
Ejuke, Chukwueze, Iwobi and Onyekuru are the wingers we have for now.

For those that are still comparing Ejuke and Moses Simon, please continue.
When you study Ejuke's movements and decision making, he is class above Simon.

Will Rohr's resignation save Nigerian football? Will it stop the NFF from owing and demotivating coaches?

Let's be honest and transfer the grievances to whom it is due. Rohr is the least of the problem.
Except the players are not playing to instructions to which i doubt.
Their cautionary mien is Rohr's approach and philosophy.

Rohs's motto reads "play with caution don't make ventures you might concede".
His team will go on to concede.

Have we ever bullied teams under Rohr even the tiniest of teams.

it is really the better team.

If they had taken their opportunities well, it would have been two minimum.

But their saving grace was that they scored at the dying minutes.

If we had 15 more minutes left, we would have drawn at least
We will concede more.
We were in a hurry and therefore error prone.

You can see very well the C.A.R coach's tactics, and he perfected it, knowing well the strength of his players.
Let me ask what is Gernot Rohr's tactics, pattern and approach in this game.
Please don't tell me those long balls from Ekong are part of his game plan. Against C.A.R?

This is a game of tactics and Rohr was clearly beaten.

Realistically, both Iwobi and Aina with their present form and the competition in the English team won't have amassed up to 5 caps together with England....
They picked the easier option....

We are getting the crumbs....
Aina as it stands yes, Iwobi no.

We are not getting the crumbs.

Aina wanted to play for us, Aina has the potentials, if he conscientiously develops his game, we won't be saying this.
I want you to know that Ndidi has so much improved his game, same with Iheanacho. The lheanacho of Leicester city has improved so much from the Iheanacho of Manchester city.

Aina can toll the same path.

What do you mean a player Iwobi is? Aribo has more starts, more goals, more assists for his club this season, coming to the Super Eagles Iwobi has more goals simply because he has been in the SE for a long time coupled with the fact that Aribo plays deeper in midfield
My analyses is not even in goals and assists but on impact.
That Aribo has one more goal than Iwobi in club performances doesn't make him a better player.

Ndidi, Aribo and Onyeka is our best midfield enough of the Iwobi nonsense, I have been saying it that midfield has everything, balance, ball control and creativity and it allows Aribo to arrive late into the ball and serve as a shadow striker without having to worry about defensive responsibilities, if we had a midfield of Ndidi, Onyeka and Aribo the Algerians won't have seen it easy to dominate us
Aribo is yet to become the player that Iwobi is, and by a mile.

I am yet to pick out what Aribo brings to our midfield. What exactly?

I find it hard to rate Iheanacho as a striker because of his propensity to drop deep, and the fact he struggles as a lone striker.

So rather than a out-and-out striker, I view him as a deep-lying forward/false 9.

Osimhen, Ejuke, Onyekuru, Onuachu, Iwobi, Sadiq Umar, Dessers.

Osimhen is a better striker.
Ejuke is a better winger.

But there is no nigerian player better than Iheanacho. World class.
You are very correct
Iheanacho is gold

TheLoneCitizen:
What are you trying to achieve with this argument, fam. The same Whoscored you quoted rated Victor Moses as the Man of the Match, so what's your point?

It's even worse that you watched the match for 90 minutes and couldn't discern that Victor Moses wasn't deployed in midfield as Sofascore suggested.
Victor Moses was played as a Wingback, you don't need to be deployed as a midfielder to take advantage of a bad midfield. Wingbacks can exploit a bad midfield.
Being rated man of the match, doesn't mean that he edged Ejuke in every aspect.

If you are yet to see the point i am making, then there is no need engaging you.
The posts i made is not just for you, but to prevent feasting on bad information from a reputable source.

I decided to go back to this post just to buttress further my point

You made the following statement and i quote.
Please note the emphasis

TheLoneCitizen:
Victor Moses outplayed Ejuke in every aspect this evening, despite playing at wingback.

Ejuke couldn't get past.
To prove your statement wrong, i said the following:

Meliforme:
This is Victor Moses greatest showing since the league commencement. Dude just took advantage of a bad midfield setup to shine.
Of all the forwards that featured for both teams, Ejuke got the highest rating. That should tell you something.
Ejuke won more cleaner tackles than Victor Moses and recorded a better passing accuracy.

Ejuke has a better rating in the current league season than Victor Moses.
I watched the match.
Ejuke is on the list of top tackles made and had a better passing accuracy according to whoscored.

What got me smarting were the words in every aspect and that statement is wrong.
and adding the fact that Ejuke's decision making and movements contributed immensely to the lone goal made your claim a lie.

TheLoneCitizen:
Iwobi Everton's worst player of that half.

A complete liability in two consecutive games.
According to TheLoneCitizen.

If you had said arguably the worst player, then there might be no need replying you, but you sounded in absolute terms which made it a false witness account, because Iwobi wasn't the worst player of that half, and wasn't a liability, let alone a complete liability in their last two games.

CSKA scoring from an Ejuke counter, you love to see it.

What I love about this lad, he never goes down, even when fouled. One of the least fouled players in Russia despite completing the second most dribbles.

Only Iwobi comes close in terms of Nigerians staying on their feet.

Pound for Pound. Moses is still far better than Onyekuru. The only thing I like about Onyekuru is that he has eyes for goal.

Ejuke knows how to dribble but he messes up the attack too often. He holds the ball for too long, giving the defense an opportunity to mark others. If he can add quick passing, he'll be more useful and dangerous.
Is it in terms of ball control, trickery, footballing IQ etc. Please give us the metrics for your comparison.

We have seen these guys feature in the same league and we saw the gulf in class.

He is a dribbler, so it is easy for him to read body language. Dribbling goes both ways, both offensively and defensively.

His only problem is his stamina. He gasses out to quickly and then gets lost.

This is not true.

Only Ahmed Musa has a better staying power (stamina) than EJuke, if you are to grade the stamina of the wingers we have.

I mean Ndidi can play and act as CM as it's noticeable in his going forward in recent games just like kante does for Chelsea. Then aribo can steb back while he does and vice versa
Aribo shouldn't step back for Ndiidi, Aribo has better offensive qualities.
This kind of switching will affect the way our team is set up.

Our opponents will take advantage of this and deal with us.

He could had scored 2 good goals if not for the save of their goalie. Modern day wingers main attribute isn't about crossing but assisting, creating chances and scoring. I.e mane, salah
You are correct, but there are instances where crossing the ball Is sine qua non.
