First, was when I was in junior school

[b][/b] Naira Marley's card fraud case which was brought before a Federal High Court in Lagos by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been adjourned.
Though the date the trial is expected to take off was not announced, Justice Nicholas Oweibo adjourned the case to enable EFCC's counsel Mr Rotimi Oyedepo and Naira Marley's counsel Mr Olalekan Ojo SAN to respond to two motions.
Recall that Naira Marley was arrested on May 10 by the anti-graft agency, who subsequently filed an 11-count charge of alleged credit card fraud against him on May 14 in a suit marked FHC/L/178C/19. The singer pleaded 'Not Guilty' to the charges as it was further learnt that his co-defendant, Yad Isril is still at large.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has stated that he still stands by his 2015 claim of Boko Haram being technically defeated.
Lai Mohammed who spoke during a working visit to the new corporate headquarters of “The Sun” Newspaper in Lagos on Monday October 21, said that what Nigeria is currently fighting is global terrorism where you have the ISIS, ISWAP and Al-qaeda all working together.
“I stand by what I said that Boko Haram is technically defeated.
“What we are having today is global terrorism where you have the ISIS, ISWAP Al-qaeda all working together.
“Terrorism is a global issue. Between 2009 and 2015 we were fighting Boko Haram, but today we are fighting global terrorism where the remnants of the Army in Syria are now joining hands with the ISWAP and others,” he said.
He also disclosed that he made the claim of Boko Haram being technically defeated based on what he saw after leading a team of local and international journalists to the epicentre of insurgency in 2015.
“I was on ground in Bama, Konduga and Maiduguri and I know what I saw before I made that claim.
“We are fighting global terrorism and that is why we are appealing to our foreign partners, especially the UN and our neighbours.
“By the time we get more platforms and the new helicopters that are being expected there will be tremendous improvement" Lai said.

28-year-old Marissa Mowry who started abusing a young boy when he was 11 and later had his baby, has been handed a 20 year jail sentence.
The former nanny employed by a family that lives in Florida when she was 22, received the jail sentence on Wednesday October 16, after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors. The boy Mowry raped at least 15 times over several months is now 17-years-old and trying his best to raise the five year-old child she gave birth to in 2014.
"I thought of her almost as a second daughter. I mean, we’re talking about a child who was 11" the victim’s mother, Nadean Campbell said after the sentence, according to Spectrum Bay News 9.
Campbell who initially thought the baby's father was Mowry's boyfriend, got to know about the sexual abuse after her son came forward. A DNA test on the baby backed his claim.
She further disclosed that her son takes his son to school in the morning before going to school himself, then plays with him in the backyard after he gets home. The altered course of Campbell son's life has left him with no friends as he's always busy with his son and it has also affected his dating life, as no one will want to date a 17-year-old with a 5-year-old child.
It was further learnt that Mowry who was facing a life sentence before the plea deal with prosecutors tried to blame her victim, claiming he forced himself on her. She was eventually caught lying after police secretly recorded a phone conversation between her and her victim.
