Small dollar-donors have given nearly $47 million to Vice President Harris campaign since it launched Sunday afternoon, the Democratic ActBlue fundraising platform announced Sunday.

“As of 9pm ET, grassroots supporters have raised $46.7 million through ActBlue following Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign launch. This has been the biggest fundraising day of the 2024 cycle. Small-dollar donors are fired up and ready to take on this election,” ActBlue wrote in an update posted to social media platform X.

President Biden announced just before 2 p.m. Sunday that he would be stepping aside in the presidential race and quickly offered his “full support and endorsement” of Harris.

ActBlue previously said that in the first five hours of Harris’s campaign, the platform raised more than $27.5 million through small donor donation.

The New York Times reported that Sunday marked the single biggest day for online Democratic donations since the 2020 election. The Times said the previous record was set the day after Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died in September 2020, when ActBlue raised about $73.5 million.

Key Democratic donors are also throwing their support behind Harris in the wake of Biden’s decision.

Trump had eaten away at Biden’s fundraising lead in recent weeks, and big-dollar donors reportedly froze some $90 million from the president’s re-election campaign amid calls for him to exit the race.

Biden’s move to not seek reelection comes after weeks of Democrats urging the president to withdraw from the race following a disastrous debate performance with former President Trump. Biden and his campaign repeatedly dismissed the calls to step up until this weekend, despite a growing number of Democrats calling on him to withdraw.

In the hours since Biden’s announcement, Democrats have rallied behind Harris as their likely nominee for November’s election. Harris said later on Sunday that she intends to “earn and win” the Democratic presidential nomination.

Now, from my understanding the higher the sulfur content, the likely hood you suffer damage to your engines and even environment.
Read dangote's statement, he said his sulfur content is lower than the imported one, but notice he his not say that of his own. No figure! The gov official meanwhile alleged dangote own is way higher than the average in Africa. African union wants 50ppa, that man said dangote is over 500- 800.
Let dangote give us his figures tested by independent labs.

I actually went to the filling station I bought the diesel, as I am in the habit of buying from just one place, both for petrol and diesel, to enable me know the source of any problems.
Anyway, they said their diesel was good and they used the same fuel to power their generators.
The maintainance company I use actually checked my tank and said it was clean, ie no water, dirt in the tank. I observed the diesel to be unlike the previous dirty dark colour we normally buy. As I said it looked transparent, just like diesel you will buy in UK.
My point is if the diesel looked clean, but still spoilt my vehicle, that means it has to do with the composition, hidden things like "sulfur" content.
Back to your question, except you can show eg water in your vehicle tank, then, report them tomDPR to come and inspect the petrol station and confirm the source of the water to be their pump, it will be hard to get any compensation.

The question is did the diesel you bought negatively affects the machine you use it to powered, if not, then it is good.

As for the government agency condemning Dangote Refinery's products, the management has refuted the allegation, saying the agency management are likely benefitting from the importation of petroleum products into the country, and wishes it to continue. Besides how can the products of a company that are being imported to advanced countries abroad be as bad as the agency are portraying them, does that not negate their condemnation?

There are many illegalities and corruption being committed in the Nigerian petroleum regulatory bodies, all of them need to be completely audited and overhauled by Tinubu government for sanity to reign there.

In over 400 years, the Constitution of the United States has only been tampered with about 27 times. How many times has your government in Nigeria tampered with your Constitution? And how come each of those every times, the Nigerian people have been left with an even shorter end of the stick?!

The Constitution is supposed to be the backbone of the democracy. If it is tampered with and the result of that tampering has been even great levels of corruption which is what exist today, does that not signal a failure in the system that may require a complete overhauling or repeal of all changes made to it?

Has the Americans made a complete repeal of their 1776 Constitution, even with all the amendments made on it. So why should Nigeria do this? We will continue to amend it, as long as the country remains one entity, to rectify any error found in it, or to adjust it to current realities.

However if there is any major political cataclysm, like a regime change, or restructuring, it is then a new Constitution needs to be reenacted.
