It is possible he didn't commit any offense. Is possible she was using that as a seat using the power of her uniform and the poor boy had to wait for her. |

Nata Sharibu, father of the only student of Federal Government Science and Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe state who is yet to be freed, says Boko Haram insurgents decided not to release his daughter because she refused to denounce Christ. A total of 110 students were abducted when insurgents raided the school on February 19. In a surprising manner, Boko Haram fighters returned the girls to Dapchi on Wednesday. TheCable had earlier reported that Liya Sharibu did not make it back to Dapchi apart from the five schoolgirls who reportedly lost their lives. Speaking on RayPower FM shortly after the students were released, the girl’s father said he learnt that the insurgents gave his daughter the option of converting to Islam but she rejected it. He expressed delight over her stance but prayed for her return. “All of them were released. They said some were dead there and my daughter is alive but they cannot release her because she is a Christian,” he said. “They gave her the option of converting in order to be released but she said she will never become a Muslim… I am very sad but I am also jubilating too because my daughter did not denounce. People of God, please let us raise prayer for Liya Sharibu that the hand of the Lord will be upon her, that the Lord should deliver her from the den of lions and bring her back safely without being molested. Pls let us arise and pray for this girl. If you are a true Christian send this message to other Christian and dedicate at least 3 minutes to pray for this girl till she's released. God bless you. #IstandwithLeahSharibu# |
If you don't know why she left you should know why she is coming back. |
The head of Hisbah in Kano State, Aminu Daurawa, has finally revealed why the operatives of the Sharia police did not storm the venue of the wedding events of Fatima Ajimobi, the daughter of the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje. In a lavish ceremony and display of wealth, Mr Ganduje gave the hand of his daughter in marriage to Idris Ajimobi, the son of Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi on March 3 in Kano. The ceremony, which was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, governors and APC national leader, Bola Tinubu, has drawn widespread criticisms for its elaborate nature. Hisbah, which bans open entertainment, mingling between men and women and use of musical instruments during marriage ceremonies in the state, was severely criticised for allowing Mr Ganduje daughter’s events to hold without disruption. On March 11, Mr Daurawa speaks on the matter on his Facebook page, listing the places he had been to last week to buttress a point that he was out of town when the governor’s daughter’s events took place. But Mr Daurawa elaborated on the issue on Friday at Ansarissunah Mosque in Fagge area of Kano, saying he delayed his reaction to the matter in reverence to his teacher’s advice not to speak. “You put me in dilemma. If I didn’t speak, people will say I tolerated a wrongdoing. What do I do? Should I totaly condemn the issue or keep silence? Which is better? “If I keep mum, those who have previously heard me rising against evils will question why I am silent. On another hand, my widely respected teacher under whose tutelage I passed, had asked me not to talk. “I was at crossroads. So I refused to go to Hisbah in order to avoid journalists who laid siege to my office. “The journalists came looking for me in droves, saying ‘there was display of immorality at the wedding, sins were committed. They danced, sang and shook buttocks. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihirrajiun! “Some said the Shariah is no more in Kano, and that we should stop asking the common man to avoid sinful acts. “Somebody even said I refused to say the governor’s daughter had transgressed because of fear losing my job. “But what is enjoyable in heading the Hisbah? Even yesterday, Christian Association of Nigeria hired over 10 lawyers against me for stopping apostasy in Kano. “I was in government when I rose against its position, and criticised the establishment of film village. I was even called from the presidency, but I stood my ground. The same thing happened on the issue of marriage age. Previously we, as Ulama, rose against allocating plots for shops at Eid prayer ground but the government ignored us.” Explaining the reasons why Hisbah did not disrupt Mrs Ajimobi’s events as they often do in the state, Mr Daurawa said Hisbah is just an agency of government, and therefore cannot go against it. He also said Mrs Ajimobi’s wedding is not new to Kano as more than 100 households nowadays organise similar events during marriage ceremonies. “We’ve been advising people to stop it but people devise ways of avoiding us. Our men cannot even go to some places as we will encounter soldiers with guns. And Hisbah is not Boko Haram. “On many occasions I withdrew my men and left the matter to God whenever they met soldiers at the gate. “How do you expect a Hisbah operative to push away soldier, police, SSS and arrest the governor’s daughter, governor’s wife or anybody else’s wife? Haba! “How can we start fighting government? We can only offer an advice. But politicians only take advice when election approaches. “Even if I were in town when the events took place, I will only leave the matter to God. The matter is beyond Hisbah. The law that established Hisbah never vested such power in us,” the Islamic cleric said. |
However, reports suggest at least five girls died during their kidnapping, and that a Christian girl remains captive. Jehovah your God never sleeps nor slumber and he is her deliverer. He shall fight for her and she shall her peace. As the mountains surround Jerusalem so shall Jehovah's presence surround her. |

Growing together is the most sweetest aspect of marriage. |
They will now know the true meaning of insecurity. Let them feel what the commoners are passing through in the hands of criminals. |
If I should come to live after death as a Nigerian let me come as a Northerner. No body in the North would ever steal money to bury his family member. Proudly Arewa. |

UJIC:I don't have idea. Thank you. |
UJIC:Like I mentioned earlier, the cost of sewing in the country may be to high due to lack of infrastructure. |
UJIC:Sewing is different from production. We used to have textile industry that were into production from scratch by using cotton as raw material. Having a an industry sewing those fabrics is a different thing entirely. Hope you are getting my point. |
Fairly used or brand new? |
Post your picture let us see you first. If really you need help we will know. Some students will be complaining about tuition and feeding yet their phones are always up to date. |
Because we lack the basic requirements for running such factories. No steady power supply, raw materials etc. |
If you exalt yourself God will humble you but if you humble yourself God will exalt you. |
All deaths are painful. |
I want to believe it was the girl that went to withdraw money and the guy trying to show some love so that something would enter his hand. I trust men with their sense of longer throat. Especially, Nigerian guys. |
I hope it was not stolen through spiritual means. My African people can do and undo. I hope it wasn't swallowed by an animal. |
Kindness is contagious but only when we have a grateful heart. Ungrateful people will always find a fault even when you are kind to them. |
You want to kill yourself just because you want to impress a lady who is not in love with you? I pray for God to release sense on you this early morning. But if insist on your mission I pray you Rest In Peace. |
How I wish we can start such disciplines in Nigeria. Imagine, this just a girl of 16, I wonder how she will dress when she's an adult. I'm of the opinion that people with indecent dressing should be discriminated. A decent woman is attractive and nothing beats decency. |
When she is ready go back she will look for the map of Ghana. If she gets to her village she will definitely find her father's house. |
He only cares for his security. |
