The thing sef no respect mr. bear at all. Its just in a class of its own.

Waiting at junction N30... grin Hope i won't grow grey hair before it gets to this price.. grin
Am not waiting for them at any junction anymore, they should just share the loot across. NSE has done N1.01 Billion worth of trade today and almost N1Billion is attributed to GTB stock. You can't even do a percentage of it.

This is not fair nawww. (Life isn't fair anyway shaaa)

I would't trust this 1.02 all because "they" intentionally opened the stock at 1.07 today. Will like to see it's response below N1.

That's me and I may be 100% wrong.

people display herding behavioural tendencies on this forum. Experience has shown that newbies and docile investors rely on the comment of some people on this forum in making their FID... grin
YES, I get your point but I solely disagree that those newbies/docile investors are responsible for the direction of the market. That's the bone of contention.

Even when I was new to NSE, I never behaved same way (herd mentality), except for during our last bubble when ALL stocks were wnning. I had to find justification or still rely on my instinct (after going through the numbers).

Until I met AkTopGun, that's the first guy that revealed the usefulness of TA to me. Just same thing that FXUser is providing on this forum. But still I never relied solely on AK's post.

...on the contrary sir/madam, this thread has helped more Nigerians to understanding investing in NSE. fxuser reports on the spot market situation and it depends on individual to determine how best to use such information.

Exactly. I doubt anybody jumps in/out of a stock based ONLY on what is said on this forum. Unless that person is a SHEEP shaaa.

Why won't there be low volume.
This thread is doing more harm to the NSE
NSE. Majority of peeps here only know how to say bad things about the market. Any small national negative news is blown out of proportion here! Do you know the number of people this thread has scared away from investing in Nigerian stocks?
I know stocks here don't do very well but the good ones are suffering too due to the altitude.
Series of hurricanes are hitting the u.S but their exchange is still in business. Why condemn your means of income?
Someone will see a stock making gains and start criticizing the stock, maybe because he missed the bus not caring about the people in the bus.
All these pessimistic people here that only create fear on bad news, have you ever seen them say something good about the market outside during good bullish times.
They should keep up the negative propaganda, keep on scaring people away from your market instead of the opposite.even an illiterate in ladipo will be canvassing for outside customers during hard times but here we scare them away.
If you really believe that this thread has direct impact on the direction of the NSE, then all I can tell you is "SORRY".

If only he can harness his talent. Once he buys any stock, be sure the share price will nosedive. With that kind of talent, he can start selling his stock picks to multinationals. Once he buys a stock, they will know it's time to sell. Same applies vice versa.

There are a few more bro.....these things happen (glitch, downtime, outage, data error)

PS: We are way behind though
The crux of the matter (as per his statement) is his blanket (ignorant) statement that Nigeria is not ready to embrace technology. Probably because he has a cellphone and internet connectivity, he believes he has embraced technology and Nigeria is yet to.

I don't expect more from someone use to old mentality of work. 1 min downtime is unacceptable. When last did you hear of downtime from the NYSE? And Also, today is not their first time this year. Its their 5th time for general downtime and 7th for FIX downtime.
And for someone that has all the youthful age of mentality to equate downtime of NSE as an attestation that Nigeria is not yet ready to embrace technology, that's appalling.

My Oga, if this is your definition of "young" mentality of work, I can only imagine how old you might be.

NYSE had a glitch earlier this year that was a source of distortion to closing price of commodities. I should also take it that the US is not ready to embrace technology.

And before you ever start arguing with someone, endeavor to understand the bone of contention.

Chief, are you saying that people are buying Fidelity now hoping that the price will move north tomorrow?

The best that might happen is that bears will retract and the likes of Diamond will be forced to level up with Fidelity.

But I have also been wrong in the past, I could also be wrong this time around. But the probability that prices will drop seems high enough for me to back off.

Make we continue dey watch.

Diamond is on my watch list, anything below N1.10 will be good for me.
Lead us not into temptation is my prayer when transcorp is mentioned undecided
Below N1.00 for Diamond and Fidelity will be nice. If it rains heavily this coming September, we might get there. Am waiting for those portfolio guys to get done with their dumping (Fidelity looks like the last stock they are dumping on people), only then will they get the rain makers to provoke a heavy downpour (they sure know how to do that).

My family and I sidon dey wait for them shaaa.

My heart felt condolence (though they will still recover) goes out to those that I sold my diamond at N1.48 and N1.31. Many thanks to una oooo. (N.B. I hope none of them are on this forum).
