Transcorp is busy ringing door closing bell. Let this seller get done fast, we need the obstruction out of the way.
BTW, where is Sir Agba and Sir Peter. I hope they got loads of Diamond @ 60k and FCMB @ 55k.

DeRuggedProf: This is how the cash is made in FCMB. From now on, I will be sleeping @ Investing.com waiting for that SCREAMING BUY SIGNAL. Patience is very key here in FCMB. MM mode has just been activated..... Waiting to see MM reaction at market close. That will tell the direction. FCMB has never been about their result. When it comes to FCMB, there are "corporate actions" that speaks far better than a good result. I hope those MM's are loaded... |

*ThE OcToPuS* Your luck alone is enough to crash the share price. I await the share price at N40.00 then. Stay tight please. |

DeRuggedProf: Timely advice.... Insisting on decimal purity chases opportunities away from you. Why insist on paying N1.07 when you can package the offers at N1.09 and walk away instead of missing out. After all, by the time the price is at N1.40, you will forget the spread.... Unto Diamond bank. LOL. So you bought at N1.09 then ? |

OakPearl: The vibes in NSEMPA forum in this bear mkt sounds very matured. Evidence of members' increasing experience. Newbies, pls always know that there are 2 distinct categories of investors here: 1). Investors - (Long term) 2). Traders - ( Short term) Know what you want, and invest accordingly. If you see d mkt as a gamble, it will forever manifest accordingly. See it as an avenue for generational wealth creation, and it shall be so for you. Traders bank their profits and hold their capital, pending when suitable to re-enter d mkt. Investors stay put, looking to continuosly average-down on their existing holdings or enter irresistibly low priced value stocks. You could be any or both of these 2 categories per time. We hv seen elections come and go, stock market crashes of all sorts, but the mkt lives on, making the knowledgeable players richer. As for me, after my first stock mkt investment in 1998 (when Nestlé was around N9 or so per share!) till date, I can affirm that knowledge is the key to how well you do in the mkt. N/B : [N100k invested in Nestlé then is worth N13m now]! You see, the most ferocious bear couldn't stop a sound stock pick like that. Do not be bullied into a panic buy or sell. See my signature...Warren Buffett said that. How much was Oceanic Bank, Intercontinental, First Bank, UBA in 1998 and how much are they worth now? |

Agbalowomeri: Not when there are better opportunities. As far as I am concerned, it is a loss bearing in mind how these banks cook their book. For them to agree to eps of 25 kobo, by year end we will end up with cooked eps of 15kobo which is actually a loss Never say never..... |

locodemy: Sir,half year result was 9B and nine months 5B. This result is good for unity, wema and sterling banks not for a big bank like Diamond bank. With this result,i am 80% sure there will be no dividend by year end. Dividend paying stocks are what people are looking to buy now.....i am sure diamond will not have a pleasant time from now going forward(nov 2017 to April 2018) Hehehe. You postulated otherwise for FCMB, we now know where they are (share price wise). Based on your antecedent (and if I have cash), I will gladly jump in at N1.00 My only worry is that Sir Peter is still on board. Nothing good happens to the share price of any stock owned by Sir Peter. |

#2 loading......... Diamond last forever
*ThE OcToPuS* Am sure you must have sold at 97k when offers were many at N1.00. Whenever you buy any share, the price nosedives! And immediately you sell same stocks, it starts going up north. Eg. Dangflour, Oando, etc.... and utimately $$$... |

rebekah2011: What I heard and meant was that the foreign investor had 500m units to offload. I did not mean that my Itrade platform was showing me 500m diamond bank shares on offer. The bank has done some nice sales of late. Ohhhh, Diamond not involved in Etisalat I understand what you meant to say sir. Am only saying that it shouldn't be "same way" that Sir Loco heard that FCMB was coming with a Q2 result that was going to propel the share price to N5.00. |

rebekah2011: Stanbic stockbrokers selling on behalf of a foreign investor. Over 500m of diamond on offer. But why do some people want to die with a bad investment. They believe some magicians will come around to turn around the fortunes of the bank. Oando and Etisalat loans loading. I am interested in seeing the Q3 of this Bank. Be sure of what you are saying oooo. Sir Loco just confessed that he has repented of his "ways". I hope he didn't pass on the mantle to you. |
