Agbalowomeri: Oga you dey make me laugh First as a core FA person myself, I have always said this is a buyer's market meaning anyone who buys for medium to long term will make his profit You have just done what I can call a 'tunnel-visioned' analysis. Now I ask you, what is the difference between your so called 3-months that you fell in love with and Jan-Feb-March? Have you also conveniently neglected the YTD comparison with 2018? What is your impression about that? A stable nse will that we all know will record a consistent YTD 60-40 foreign-domestic participation which is so evident in the daily volumes of stocks In a bull or near-bull, you would expect a consistent > 400million daily volume of stocks; in fact, during bulls it does > 600million daily volume of stocks consistently
Back to TA, you cannot separate the term 'bottom' from ASI, that has has been my debate; ASI has been making new 52-weeks low almost daily for many days now so no bottom in sight yet Many of these banking stocks are within 5% of their August low Give them only one Mendes-day and they will sink below it And one or two "Mendes-Day" I ask thy Lord to doeth for me. Reactions to just released UBA and FBNH will provide more insight today. |

RabbiDoracle: When you start seeing 10% bid for weeks, that is when you will start sharing stories of how stocks was low and you didn't buy. Then door will be so tight for people to enter. It will be all bids not offer.
If the market wanted to fall, isnt it the norm for people to bring out their wares. And place at 10% below market price? That isn't happening! Are you sure the expectation of Q3 result is not what is presently holding the market? In as much as I don't expect those crazy daily 9-10 percent loses (though impossibility is nothing in this market) but I expect the market to tank the more after results. Just my gut feeling. |

RabbiDoracle: I believe the panic @mendes was talking about just passed (today) . It didn't even dent stocks to August low.
Market is looking up. The weak hands have sold and they will buy higher
If prices reach August low, buy more. But I doubt it. Oracle Himself, if I didn't know you very well, would have called you a learner (but we are all learners though). There wasn't any panic today naaa. Take Zenith for example, that was a case of a single seller offloading at #17. Have you forgotten your narrative about Janet and drowning. Well, I think Janet took the first gulp of water today. We will know more soon. I could also be very wrong but am sure we haven't witnessed any panic dumping of stocks yet. Imagine what will happen after Q3 result would have all been released? Let me stop sounding so negative shaa. |

Agbalowomeri: People wey dey enter bottom at the wrong time of the month Let me just come and be going before OGG talk say I dey sleep for here I always don't enter until there's a panic selloff. Zenith charts were pointing for a mini bull few weeks ago while it was selling with volume at #18. You pointed it out then but I refused to enter due to the absence of a panic period. |

Mcy56: The bolded got me laughing out loud. The broker would be like: WTF!! Loco, Agba don rub it on you. Well, who doesn't like a stock to bottom-out and key into it...........but knowing this is tasking since Mr. Market cannot be timed. Its well. I have my way of getting the bottom. Just do a 20% markup to whatever price Agba quotes or I go verbatim with CP's own. I also do have my target stocks and just waits for the opinion of these two fine gentlemen to tally with mine (80% match is good enough for me). Agba really knows how to predict the market but don't take his prices verbatim else you will never purchase any stock. CP is also very good at pointing out "bottoms". He hardly quotes prices but whenever he does, the price sticks! |

locodemy: Anyone who wants to make money in this market must like bottom. If not,no money for you.
I asked one of my new digital brokers to move my acct from one of my Analog brokers to their acct. When the analog broker called me and ask the reason why I want to transfer my stocks to another firm. The first thing I told him was because of BOTTOM and he said WHAT.........
I began to explain.............
Some people need to understand the bottom we are referring to here.
Even oga currentprice love bottom very well.
I need to know if Aunty Mercy like bottom too. Aunty Mercy herself is a "BOTTOM". During the very old days, we were at the mercy of our analog brokers. No matter how bad market be, they never get to purchase stocks for us at the "bottom", the "bottom" were exclusively reserved for them and them alone. They only sell your stocks at the bottom, and most likely they always sell to themselves. But in this generation, every one of us has access to the "bottom". |

RabbiDoracle: Tenants dey take you go court ba?
That is why people prefer portfolio than building yeye houses. With what I know about stock trading, owning multiple properties na waste of time and money. Big time. Once one ain't too greedy in this market, stock trading far beats what property trading can fetch. That's my own point of view shaaa. What works for me! |
