Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mendes911: 2:24pm On Oct 14, 2019 |
Mpeace: Lol. With due respect to its promoters in thus forum, That stock has nothing to offer(short, medium or long term) if you do all the maths and allow all things to be equal, you are better off with zenith than buying UACN above 4.50. UPDC is dead scrap, and after the rights issue, it becomes worthless. The amount of u-riet on offer + the uacn shares is what makes uacn worth 4.5
Disclaimer: my own personal opinion. Once Nigerians start with "All Due Respect", just know that bashing will follow afterwards. Promoters and manipulators. LOL. |

RabbiDoracle: It needs to he changed to what it is now. 100K units to move any price.
Imagine people buying hundreds of millions naira or billions (naira) of bank shares. This will not move market much. But when someone sells or buys 10K units of Nestle (maybe worth like N12m, it causes the index to fall or rise sharply. This is a distortion!
So for Nestle, Dangote cement, MTN, Airtell, you will need to buy alot (100K in a single offer/bid) or sell alot to distort the index. I understand the implication, but 100k units for stocks like DangCem, Airtel and co seems too high to me. Well, stagnation, here we come. We die here. There are positives to this. We could be dying in silence and the index wouldn't reflect much of it. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mendes911: 1:51pm On Oct 11, 2019 |
Agbalowomeri: Actually they are unserious They are always reactive Lol Could it be due to Dangcem onslaught Lol If they reacted due to DangCem slaughter, to cushion further downtrend, then they have even made it more difficult for the index to recover faster. We are watching. They should have taken a clue from what happened when Ndi-Okereke tried to save the market by adjusting trading rules. It doesn't work! The faster a stock drops, gets done with it and starts recovery, the better. |

Obene Kwa Kwa x3.
This reminds me of last year when an insider was disposing of that Honey Flour shares due to the obvious. Some called it "manipulation" (as usual) and asked that shareholders should hold on to their shares, their future, that the honey inside full well well, dey overflow.

Bomboclad: Some of you here have some of the best memories ever...i am impressed! When you gave a call for anyone with over N100M to dive in for a short gain, that's the kind of "thing" a trader shouldn't forget naaa. Some of you na insiders while some no even qualify to be an outsider (outcast instead). |

My 30billion Wema loading. There were over 10 pages today but due to "page manipulation", we can only see half a page. "Mercylycious" and her goons will confirm this "page manipulation" soon. Take into consideration essays written today, we could barely have seen a quarter of a page! |

Mcy56: E ku market o. Everybody just dey observe. Access gradually moving up.......but some stocks are not smiling.....such as guinness. I'm just thinking, could the fall in dangcem price be intentional? We are observing anyway. Yesterday was UACN, today is DangCement. Una no dey tire? You didn't notice that DangCem share price started dropping when FG denied them (about 3 of their production lines) tax exemption going forward? |

mendes911: Bro,
What has really changed the past week that warrants all these expected bull? Are the FPI's back?
In the absence of the FPI's, I expect the market to still tank but that wouldn't stop me from looking for my occasional 10% - 15% till the market is ripe. This has been my position since April/May.
I have been wrong severally and I hope am not wrong this time around. I still believe UBA will come down to around #5 this year. My baby coming back home, abeit slowly. Closed at N5.95. ND Agba, over to you. More incantation please. |
