deepsuk: How many people did the Fulani herdmen kill today ?
Did you even bothered to know?
No one here have a funk
All slaves of money here.
Ready to sell your mothers for money to the Fulani.
Your fellow citizens are getting killed yet all you are bothered about is if nse went up today.
One day it will be turn of your shildren.
Don’t complain that day.
Your sin is just the beginning.
You should be ashamed of your useless life. Is it so difficult for Pastor Vee to cast this demon out of you? What's really the essence of Pastor Vee to this forum if he can't do this for us. I can't just understand. |

Chief, I no get mattress nor pillow ooo, that one na Oracle and Agba. Na just one small black/yellow polythene I get. I have been "tasting" the water since oil started inching up last week. Still on it, albeit gradually. Fidelity is the most temping of them all. The positive or negative return will not be funny at all (just my gut). Zenith was also good last week but I don't foresee more than 30% coming from it. I have been wrong on severally occasions. Very wrong. |

Parisfran: Please what is really wrong with Fidelity bank?
Other banks are having P.E of 4 and above but Fidelity bank's own P.E. is about 2.
I want to buy more units but I dont know if I should wait for 2017 result to come out or not. I really think it's a N4 stock though. I am watching to see if there's any surprises behind that 3rd quarter result. I hope not. |

Agbalowomeri: Obviously you did not experience 2008 crash; no strategy was left out, everyone was affected People were so stuck to the point that Ndi Okereke implemented a rule that will allow stocks to gain maximum but drop only by a certain percentage, that made things worse and people still couldn't cash out. Most brokers then will refuse to put up your mandate on the system, they had to try to sell their own stocks first. May we never experience that period again. LOL. |

Dwizeone: Dunlop for now needs resurrection, companies get delisted ..., when I notice that there is no much traction in a stock or a decline in trading volume, I think I will bail out fast, though for personal reasons I target mainly fundamentally sound stocks but then I still bail out when prices move against me based on my intended hold period, so I get a bit edgy when I hear of some stocks on some people's portfolio Were you trading in 2006/2008? |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mendes911: 12:07pm On Apr 13, 2018 |
wanaj0: Dunlop started as a good investment. It was affected by the change in government policy. At that point any investor should have re evaluated the investment position. That was a fundamental change in the underlying assumptions. Yes. And I assumed then that they could still survive but those products coming in from China and Taiwan gave them a run for their customers. The rest is history today. |

yok: MSCI ADDITION FOR 12 APRIL 2018/GENERAL MARKET COMMENT
For this week I have learnt to suppress my temptation for buying stock. Since, the big money is slowing down, I have equally fold my hand to see when momentum will return to the market.
Just like the dealer at a Casino table, I have placed my bet and the result for the 1st quarter will show whether I will put in more money or continue to wait at the sideline. Thank God for diversification, many of us will have been out of the market by now.
From next week, I will be commenting on equities with momentum behind them for the day (but I will likely exclude the extremely illiquid stocks). If a stock has momentum for 3 days continuously, the risk may be worth taking once there is a fundamental backing.
I am sorry for being late.

I pity shareholders of Diamond! JaPaul collected money from Diamond to pay back loan owed to GTB! That's the one that got to me..... 30% fresh loan used to pay back old (NPL) loan. What was DBN thinking? The egunje involved must have been pretty rewarding. |
