One buyers (exporter) this night with 90 kegs

Even we that usually buy this month for storage are taken unaware.

Last years this time a keg of palm oil was #3,000 to #3,500.

I can remember one woman that pleaded with me to just carry her oil, when I sell I could return the money to her.
But today buyers are giving money upfront to millers. They will come to mill and book uncooked palm fruit (which will be mill in one week time.


My findings has shown that Nigerian are now exporting palm oils.
The value of naira has fallen greatly, thus anything taken outside the country sells well.

This leads to scarcity of palm oil. And increased demand.
Demand from company and individuals in Nigeria can never make palm oil prices to increase this palm oil season.

Now the case is different buyers are fighting to buy even one kegs.

While 25 liters goes for #10,000.
