GBPUSD

The 1.2178 level has been pivotal and has served as an excellent barrier against buyers(within the last 36 hours). I expect price to run above this level (as a knee jerk reaction to the news release) up until 1.2254 thereabouts, grabbing liquidity.

Within that circa 78 pips range, sufficient sell positions would have been positioned and a massive sell off should happen. Taking price down to 1.1962 (for a small bounce maybe) and then ultimately to 1.1815 or slightly below. At this point, we can then watch for bullish confirmation which will take us to 1.27 and beyond.

Recently the Fed has been so aggressive with foreign policies,and as long as inflation continue to be on the rise , USD = Bearish, the big question is will they continue with this hike cycle or going back off? I don't think so, was watching Blomberg last week when US president was taking about inflation still being in hawkish ..

From technical point of view GU has been pushing upsides breaking structures , currently we are stuckup in the middle of consolidation (Continuation flag)which will serve as catalyst for CPI. So I'm anticipating bullish market during CPI on (GU,EU, XauUsd,US30) and GJ bearish.

During the news release, we will see huge volume enter the market. If institutions want to BUY, won't it be logical for you to first expect a sell off to shake out weak holders of buy positions?

. . . Only one person that maintained similar rules as during the competition got to withdraw profits and got a refund of the challenge fee. The excitement got him in the next pay out and no update since then.
If the essence of the contest is to have someone with a funded acct for a long time, capping the lot will help a bit. If the aim is not. Then no capping of lots size will just be fine.

One trader had a very lovely result in an edition of the contest you were organizing back then. His moniker is @Amolak
I hope he didn't change his strategy. He had a very amazing Sharpe ratio that most prop firms will be willing to give him a funded account without his going though any type of evaluation.

A $10 price change for gold is the equivalent of 100 pips of EURUSD.

If the price of gold falls from 1900 to 1890 ($10 price change), this will be the equivalent of EURUSD declining from 1.2100 to 1.2000 (100 pips).

I know there might still be a few people sceptical about the trades on gold which I posted the arrows.

Maybe when next TheYoda tries to post those arrows which he has fraudulently learnt how to generate, y'all can ask him to show you the actual trades on his profit blotter to truly affirm whether or not he took the trades.

To be honest and without an atom of bias, this does not sit well at all; theyoda is pointing out crucial information about your arrows @meshpips. I followed through and don't feel good about your post @Meshpips.

1. You did not make the call but posted your outcome 6hrs ish into the trade (see attached pix) which obviously was going your way. I see that you used Mrbillionaire's call to maximize your opportunity of letting us all know that the trade was going your way and you indeed are in profits.
Note: You ONLY do justice when you post results of ONLY the trades you call.
2. Then you closed it just a few minutes after posting your ongoing position and rushed here to show the arrow to further emphasize that your position was top notch.

I have a suggestion (come FTA 2021) that may seem tough for @Seun to implement:
1. @Seun needs to make whoever is the FTA 2021 creator, the moderator as well, at least for the length of the thread existence: 1year. Hence, the FTA21 creator is also the FTA21 moderator.
2. The FTA 21 creator and mod can then post all FTA-specific rules on the very 1st page.
3. Whoever comes here and goes against the already defined rules will be reminded what specific rule is broken, get warned once and issued a yellow card.
4. For any 2nd offense against the defined rules, he gets a red card and banned for 6months ish.

A lot of things are not right with this thread.

First let me make it clear that I owe nobody the responsibility of making trade calls.

Secondly, I will hardly make a comment on a pair I don't trade.

I gave 3 probable levels of reversal many minutes before and closed my trade at one of the levels I mentioned.

TheYoda's post seems to suggest that I have learnt a way of fraudulently putting the arrows on the chart. This is the reason for my response.
