Two weeks later, she show face again. This time around she no even wear bra come. Na one very skimpy singlet and tiny shorts she take show for my doormont. Me: Yes, you can, because that is exactly what happened with me.

I came out with a 3rd class. I was not happy about it. But that did not deter me from applying. And I got admission offers for master's program in not just one, but two different schools.

What you can do is send your bachelor's transcript to WES or any accredited evaluators for evaluation. The GPA system in the US is based on a 4.0 scale, as against Nigeria which is 5.0. This can boost up your GPA especially if you or your "brother" had a high 3rd class. I came out with a 2.23 third class GPA, but when I sent my transcript for evaluation to WES, it boosted me up to a 3.0, which was enough to get me admission.

I know a few nurses today who are owed many arrears in salary and are poor. If you really trust your uncle, then take his offer, but make sure he'll not give you an ordinary visa.

Make sure it's a permanent residence visa (green card). This will help you find your way comfortably (and not be deported) if he fails to fulfill his promise.

You guys are funny with your statements . How do you expect the uncle to "give" her the Green card? You can't file for just anyone you want, most especially if the person is not a direct relative. Green cards are not handed to you just on the basis of "he's my uncle, she's my niece" situations.

Besides, let's say he's even able to, green cards processing takes time, especially since she's an adult. It's not a "you apply today and get it tomorrow" thing. It sometimes takes up to five years. The only way she can get a quick green card(timeline up to 2 years) is if she gets an employer who will file for her, or if she can prove that she has extraordinary ability in certain fields.

I doubt if your uncle is truly a doctor in USA he claims to be and even owns a clinic/hospital there cos at that status he's definitely rich and getting a nanny shouldn't be a problem. I'll truly advice you do background checks on him very well before you jump on the offer while you must have started your nursing school.

Doctors make mad bank in the US yes. It's one of the professions that earn the top dollars. He can afford a nanny easily. Why he would need OP to come babysit for two years is really suspicious.

This is a very dicey situation and many points have to be answered before you make your final decision.

1. Your uncle wants you to come to take care of his children. In America today, people really need childcare especially in this COVID era. That's his primary concern, not your education. How sure are you that he will sponsor your education as he said when the time comes? Childcare here in the US is EXPENSIVE.

2. How are you going to come? Like someone said, are you coming as a visitor? I hear getting visas other than student is a daunting task now and that interviews are backed up until 2024,, and there's even no assurance you will be granted a visa. Are you willing to hold your education on the premise that he will "sponsor" your education after two years?

If I were you, rather than wait, I will enroll in Nursing school. Getting into the US these days is not as easy as it was before. Don't build your future based on mere promises. Get your qualifications first, then write your NCLEX exams. You will have a better chance that way than to come empty handed. Nurses are in high demand here in the US. I know that cos my mum is an RN here and i know how much she makes. Your uncle's priority is his children, not you.
