Hon. John Wesley Olabode (MFR) running for the Federal House of Representatives come 2019 on the platform of the Young Democratic Party of Nigeria (YDP) has called out on President Muhammadu Buhari to avenge the people of Plateau of the alarming killings by declaring war on the perpetrators known as Miyetti Allah. Speaking with him at his Lagos residence, he had this to say; “Once upon a time, Jos Plateau used to be one of the most desirable state to visit in Nigeria. It used to be known for her blessed nature, serene environment and icelandlike weather. Memories of my experience in the Jos of the past years still linger so beautifully. The killings and bloodbaths has never been a rumor not to talk of it’s reality in Plateau. It is so heartbreaking and weakening to hear and behold the ongoing massacre in the state by some infidels and unscrupulous elements going by the name Miyetti Allah. The loss of one life should be dreadful enough to throw a nation into mourning not to talk of when hundreds of lives are being sent to early grave promising destinies of children being cut short. For whatever reason the claim is for why this is happening, IT IS UNACCEPTABLE and should be vehemently condemned in its entirety! I am calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare war and absolute hunt down of every Miyetti Allah individual until an end is brought to these killings. The President must take responsibility as the Chief Security Officer of Nation. Otherwise done, a vote of NO CONFIDENCE be passed by the National Assembly with immediate effect as we can’t afford the loss of more lives!” He said.

A nation undergoing daily bloodshed can never make meaningful progress because the bloods of the innocent shed, just like Abel, continues to cry negatively against the nation.

I have heard people talk about integrity and shame; and I have also seen people act like what does it matter, it’s not a new thing! Such is the attitude of our public office holders when involved in a very disdainful and grave scandal or libel.

Hon. John Wesley MFR contesting for Member House of Representatives on the platform of the Young Democratic Party, Ekiti State has lambasted and called on the Senate President Bukola Saraki to honourably resign from office if truly he’s a patriotic Nigerian.

In a brief interview with him after reaching out to a number Youths and aged ones within his constituency, he had this to say about the Senate President; “It is really sad and very embarrassing that the Senate President’s Name could ever be mentioned and tagged with bank robbery in his own state. Yet, he has remained in office with less regard for integrity and sincerity. I’m of the opinion that with immediate action, the Senate President should have considered and done the needful by humbly and quietly resigning from his position as the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! Either the arrested bandits are known to him as mere political thugs as claimed by the Senate President or otherwise, it is not of a good report that the name Bukola Saraki is associated with robbery. He should Resign and that should be as a matter of unrgency in order to save this nation from all of manner of public and foreign blacklisting”

My declaration to run for the office of a Member House of Representatives at the National Assembly was borne out of the passion to selflessly serve the people through meaningful representation against all odd.

It is not absolutely a new terrain for me but may just be an higher operational level as I have always served in varying capacities representing the people’s right from my university days and in other organizations. Hence; I am on an ultimate Mission For Reformation which is what my MFR stands for. In comprising, what I represent as MFR, is reflected in my following 5 cardinal goals if voted for as a Member House of Representatives:

1. Sponsor Bills that will be: People oriented; Make provisions for adequate safety of human lives and properties which will transcend to creation of jobs, and pursue laws that will strengthen our institutions for effective functioning.
2. Facilitate Constituency developmental projects and also fund self developmental programmes; capacity building and hold business opportunity conferences which will be accessible to all youths within my constituency thereby making them self reliant and sufficient.
3. Ensure progress report on National and Constituency activities; carry out a quarterly door2door public opinion poll on how well to serve the people better.
4. Ensure dutiful carrying out of oversight functions and sincere implementation of the budget by the executive to visibly transcend on the electorates.
5. Finally, I will ensure promotion of local content, creativity and all manner of craft development which will further promote the Nigerian brand.

My records as a Students Leader in the past remains a major point of reference and to this end; if I’m voted for, my service and representation of the people will be selfless and sincere.

When we look around for performing Governors, I’m not very sure if Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State can fall between 1 - 5 but some will place their life on a bet to argue in support of him as one of the best performing Governors in Nigeria.

Thank you very much! In fairness to Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose, he’s a very rugged and grassroot politician who is likeable but doesn’t carry the aura of true leadership and administrative prowess.

When You Say Aura of True Leadership and Administrative Prowess; What Do You Mean?

It is not enough to be likeable and be a grassrooter. So much more is required in the area of service delivery to the people who must have built high hopes and expectations having expressed so much love and likeness for you. It becomes extremely disappointing and unworthy of note when all the people get in return in the place of sincere leadership and service delivery is dramatic felicitations and empathetic rascality.

That’s just what it is my brother. It is a show of I know what the people want and I give it to them to the best of my ability because it’s new to them unlike past leaders who they don’t see on the streets of Ajilosun with Okada riders taking Ogogoro or seen at the Amala spot eating abula right in the face of the public, or pricing Pomo at the Oba’s market and buying of Christmas biscuits and sweets for children whose parents you have not paid their salaries for above five months (5Months). It is crystal clear like the Babylonian men-mene tekel yufasin that Governor Fayose has done nothing in the interest of the Ekiti people than being a cog in the wheel of progress in the state.
I am heartbroken that none of the gracious resources of the state have been harnessed by the Governor to ensure better life for the people beyond his agenda of stomach infrastructure. The people of Ekiti are born elites who deserve so much more from any leader who professes love for the state.

What Do You Think Can Be Done?

Engage more in capacity building, throw government doors open for business activations and consolidation within the state which will in turn create job opportunities and increase the state’s IGR. It is also very germane to invest in agriculture sincerely in order to increase the food bank of the state and attract trade of farm produce which will also create jobs.

Finally, place a clarion call on all technocrat sons of the soil to come home for a way forward rubbing-minds in the interest of the state.

You will recall that young and vibrant public speaker, Olabode John Wesley (MFR) on the 1st of May, 2018 declared his intentions to run for House of Representatives in the forthcoming 2019 elections. I caught up with him once again today after a public speaking engagement he had at the Orientals Hotel, Lagos. This time around, I had to get to the bottom of why he considers himself as a Voice for the Voiceless? He had this to say:

“I am very passionate about people and their welfare to a fault. Particularly children and women. I can’t stand them go through neglect or rejection for no substantial reasons. I will be out to do everything possible to ameliorate such situation; which has been my person since my University days. I go all the way to defend the interest of my fellow class mates and students on campus at every level. John Wesley was a name which represented integrity and defender of the people. Till this very time as I speak with it you, I have remained same John Wesley. I graduated with a 2nd Class Honours Lower Division simply because I was ready to go through any form of pain to ensure my fellow students enjoyed the dividend of their vote for me and protect them from any form unjust treatment. I must mention that up till this very moment, I still get so much accolades for my doggedness as a Students’ Union Leader back then at the University.

At every given time I win for the people; it’s always a landmark achievement for me and as I embark on a higher journey to the National Assembly to represent the people once again, every would-be agenda and bills sponsored will always be in the ultimate interest of the people.”

First, a gang of hoodlums orchestrated by Senator Omene stormed the senate chambers and made away the symbol of authority (The Mace) while those who promised to defend the integrity of this nation and interest of Nigerians watched the Mace being carted away without doing nothing but just talk balderdash.

However, it is the height of insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians and her endless plea for meaningful representation. It bothers the heart how these sets of senators take priority in only what concerns their pocket leaving the supposed represented at the mercies of hopelesssness and a bleak tomorrow. It is high time the people woke up from their slumber and be very sure of what becomes of their destinies come 2019.

It is not enough to castigate, rant on social media and also call in on radio programmes just to talk. What will make all the difference is your sanctified PVC, uncompromised and cleansed for the voting into office; masses oriented representatives.

As for me, I will not just be out to use my PVC but will also be a volunteer to defend the interest of the masses against all odds.

Mr. Olabode John Wesley well known as MFR stormed Ekiti State on Thursday with his professional gang to unleash professional training on Business Startup, Digital Marketing and Business Proposal Development for the youths of Ekiti State.

The conference which witnessed a massive turnout from youths and campus students reached out to the actual targeted audience which made it a landmark achievement for MFR&TheGANG.

In a brief chat with one of the facilitators; Mr. Ajibola Bakare, he mentioned that: "giving a society the tool to become successful is so much more than giving such society money and as such, I feel so elated reaching out to these young ones on a day like this".

The convener, MFR emphasised that; when you show a man the process of and how fishing is done, he will fish well and will have no reason to beg for fish or be at the mercy of a fisherman.

The feedback gathered from participants so far; established that they gained so much from the conference and it was a timely one for them.

Eighteen years of democratic rule and it has been back and forth for our dear nation Nigeria. It has been years of failing promises and retrogressive assurances from varying political gladiators and selfish commandos. Shall we continue in selfish sale of conscience and ask for developmental progress to abound in the land? God forbid!

2019 is around the corner and political momentum has begun to reinforce. There's however something I have observed day in, day out. The same old people with varying godfathers we know; keep resurfacing. I have heard a couple of young ones like me ask questions such as: "When Will It Be Our Turn"? My humble and straight answer is; our turn may never come if we continue to deny ourselves our true strength of franchise. I have seen as usual young ones like me get busy on social media with rants and continued lambasting of one another in defense of same old political office holders we used to know and now we have their children surfacing and we'll prepared to succeed their fathers.

What then happens to the SON OF A NOBODY? It is high time we acknowledged our strength as a people against the Oligarchists and sought after a Son of a Nobody to hand over the mantle of leadership to and lead the way on behalf of the common man. It's high time the common man stopped to complain about what the elite in power has refused and failed to do to benefit the common man other than themselves.

Nigeria's youngest Presidential aspirant in the 2015 presidential elections, Mr. Olabode John Wesley popularly known as MFR and his gangs of motivational speakers and business experts are set to storm Ekiti State with a FREE Business Startup Empowerment Summit.

Having being spotted at a recent Youth Summit in the state; where the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo was a speaker, he had this to say while speaking to journalists: "We can only do much more when we decide to take over leadership and operate from the center. We have done so much talking in the past and we are done with talking and casting of stones as youths.

Hence, my humble decision to run for the office of the Governor of the State of Osun. I'm very optimistic about this, regardless of endearing threats. But we shall overcome Insha Allah. Your support will also make this a smooth ride for us. I want to be able to make an effective change and consolidate developmental institutionalized structure which will remain a legacy for the our dear state".

When asked why he chose a new party such as Welfare Party of Nigeria; he said: "Welfare Party is a party with a synonymous ideology as mine and the party's slogan is an ultimate agenda for which I aspire to be Governor of the State of Osun because it will always be about welfare of the masses and greatness of the State of Osun"

Without mincing words, there's obviously an ongoing YOUTHQUAKE revolution around the world and this really coming out to play in Nigeria as we have seen so many youths now coming out to show interest for public office. It is no longer news that several new parties have been registered and are all with the mission to contest the 2019 general elections.

However, the Welfare Party Of Nigeria has said through its National Publicity secretary that the party, WPN is making a dogged move to unseat the ruling party come 2019. He further said the agenda is to restore power and confidence back to the people against all odds.

In a telephone conversation with one the party's chieftain, he mentioned that; "This is the right time for the people to take their future into their hands and also be willing to decide who their candidate will be. From our own end, we will be presenting a very vibrant Nigerian youth to run for office of the President. This is in line with our commitment to the masses". He said.

When asked who such youth will be, he didn't speak further. But from a reliable source, we are aware that the party may be presenting a one time Nigeria's youngest Presidential Aspirant from the South West alongside a young lady who is from the South East.

Our Question Is; Will this agenda work?

Nigeria's youngest Presidential aspirant in the 2015 presidential elections, John Wesley Olabode -MFR may be contesting the forthcoming elections as well. But this time around, may not be the No. 1 seat of power in the country.

Youths from his constituency in Ado Ekiti have approached him recently at one of his just concluded Youth Empowerment Summit in the state. They requested he vies for the office of the Ado Ekiti Federal Constituency pledging their undivided support if he agrees to run for the position come 2019.

They however mentioned that; they have no doubts that he will represent them well if elected into the Federal House of Representatives chamber.

Speaking with a one time Students Union leader of Ekiti State University, he had this to say: "I have no doubts in the efficiency of MFR if elected into office come 2019. He is a mentor to someone like me who never had the confidence to lead a group of classroom students; but refined my thoughts and gave me the courage to be able to lead an entire institution. He is a Man who strongly believes in true governance and at any opportunity given, will always advocate for the welfare of the masses. There is a YOUTHQUAKE around the world as Youths are taking over leadership. In MFR we trust".
