TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 9:44pm On Apr 03, 2022
I meant Ofcourse you can move around the Schengen region freely but cant leave and fly back in.. like in Meljoe's case going to the US.

Afterall, its 1 visa with schengen countries free entries.

megastu:
Wrong. You can move within the Schengen zone as many times as you like with a single entry visa however once you leave the zone you cant enter again unless you have a multiple entry visa
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 7:08pm On Apr 03, 2022
You can visit italy even if you didnt mention it in the application. Its no issue atall...

Travel plans change everytime..

quote author=Gentlesoul3268 post=111619422]
What our chairman mialate was trying to say is that if you are giving single entry Visa you can go to italy from France by train, but if multiple entry Visa you can go by flight.

Observation meljoe I hope it doesn't mean if you didn't declared in your application that you will visit Italy and latter visit Italy? Because if you wanted to renew your Schengen visa through France hope they won't use it against you?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 6:58pm On Apr 03, 2022
Were you issued a Single or Multiple entry Visa?

quote author=meljoe post=111619178]

I don’t understand what you mean by single entry and multiple entry

You mean I can’t use their local airline to fly to Italy , I must use a train ?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 6:10pm On Apr 03, 2022
Arrive France proceed to italy not an issue...

Single entry - use a train
Multiple Entry- you can fly..

meljoe:
Please I have a question, I’m going to Italy from France

I will be spending two weeks there and back

After the visa expires I will like to Renew it and apply for my
Kids to go with me , is that a good way since I didn’t spend time there in France ?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 5:03pm On Apr 01, 2022
You have to choose one related to your Current Job or Profession.

They should provide an invitation and an Entry badge.

afembaba:

TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 5:00pm On Apr 01, 2022
You need an airport transit visa.

quote author=oretiti post=111562024]Hello Everyone. Please I need your help. I plan to go to Dominican Republic for holiday in May. I’ll be using KLM. Here’s their flight route - Lagos to Amsterdam then from Amsterdam, KLM will transfer me to Paris (CDG) then airfrance to Dominican Republic. So basically two stops (Amsterdam & CDG Paris)

Please do I need an airport transit visa or short stay visa?

Hope to get a feedback soon. Thank you so much
France is and remains the best bet...

Get some European travel history and come back. Plan, Research and move to apply...

Olayinka1230:
Good Evening my people
Please aside France which country in Schengen can we try again since France have tougher time with First timer with no travel history at all
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 9:59am On Mar 26, 2022
Hello Meljoe, please what issues are you having with Expedia? All the rooms in same hotel sold out within your proposed date on booking.com?
Look for another room and rebook...

quote author=meljoe post=111380915]

Really important please
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 2:30pm On Mar 25, 2022
Lol.... Whites with specifications.

Nchabuomo:
This is also not true and part of the bad PR I am talking about. In most countries, I have visited as a tourist, I have been offered drugs and more recently fake covid-19 tests and none of these have been offered to me by a Nigerian. True, Nigerians have the mindset to make it abroad but isn't that the mindset of all economic migrants? Would you leave home and head for another country for economic reasons and not hope to make it? I agree with you on something though; it is important that people research about their destination country to enable them to make informed decisions.
Finally, there is nothing wrong with Japa syndrome. Japa if you can, there are many white people living in Nigeria, did they not Japa from their country to here?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 7:48am On Mar 25, 2022
Depends on your travel history..

A tourist visa varies from 30days to 90days to 180 days to 365 days

Fill your form, request for it with valid reasons and wait..

Its solely at their discretion...

lawali:
Morning my people,

Which visa type is the best for someone who plans to travel to UK via Netherlands route regularly (quarterly)?

I am aware of short stay visa for frequent traveller and transit visa.

He doesn’t mind spending 1 or 2 days in Netherlands before his final destination.
Will transit visa be applied for each journey or 6 months/1 year transit visa can be granted?

What’s the max number of yrs one can get if you apply for short stay tourist visa?

Thanks
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 7:44am On Mar 25, 2022
Ok Ma but other illegal immigrants from other countries didnt come prepared .... they went there rather with an Open mind set to survive with what ever harsh conditions they meet there.

Almost all the blacks abroad are considered to be Nigerians despite their true Origin.

If we want to go into Crime rate breakdown and statistics here , its a long topic...

If you want to migrate legally, please research well.

HRprof:
Illegal migrant from other country came prepared that's why they don't engage in illegal deal abroad. Most Nigerians migrants have the mindset of making it abroad once they arrive without properly informed and when the reality is done on them they have no option than to engage in illegal activities to survive and that give us bad reputation. I don't have any right to stop anybody migrating abroad but is good to educate the gulable with Japa syndrome to understand is not always greener abroad especially if not prepared. Many have died in the Mediterranean sea.

Gtb has a $20 limit on international online transactions..

Could that be the issue? .Some banks have higher spending limits.

meljoe:
Gtb

I have submitted already oh , Expedia wasn’t working
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 6:37pm On Mar 24, 2022

meljoe:

TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 2:27pm On Mar 24, 2022
When you get a Schengen visa from Italy , you can always go to France .
Were you given a Uniform Visa from Italy? Were you flagged at any point by Italy?

You could have appealed the decision despite the fact the decision wont be overturned...

kpiper2473:
I need help.
I dont know why i am reluctant to apply for a France Visit Visa. I have been refused twice despite having 3 Schengen visas from Italy ( hence my reluctance). i feel like visiting France but the fear of refusal wont let me put in an application. I dont know what i am doing wrong.

HRprof:
You came here with impression that your friend who is a French citizen send you an invitation letter and flight ticket for your trip now you have come back to tell another story of been scammed million to get French visa .
Why do most Nigerians have Japa syndrome?
Kelluz:
Hello everyone i need your help, my spouse is from france she sent me an invitation letter through dhl to visit her,She paid for flights also. Presently i am about to apply for a tourist visa, please how long is the process and what do i need to do to stand a good chance
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 1:10pm On Mar 23, 2022
Praiseola, there is no confusion here.

Request for a Refund if any because at this point, its a different story.

Book your hotel, put your documents together and head to VFS Global.

Please let's all be very careful , a lot of desperate people out there with promises of getting you this and that whilst they are still here in Nigeria with us.

If they had that much connection why are they still here preying on Innocent people.

Let's Cultivate the habit of READING , everything we want is online... Someone somewhere has or have had the situation you are in ... there's Nairaland, there's Quora.. etc

Godspeed.

Your Friend is sending you and your family an Invite and you have spent Millions?

Mmmm.... this friend though.....

The French resident hosting you will need to obtain this ‘attestation d’accueil’ from their local Mayor’s office, and send you the original attestation.

Praiseola001:
Whao!! This is indeed an eye opening for me and do you know that I have spent millions on the ordinary paper, thinking that it has weight, God bless you.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 11:21am On Mar 23, 2022
You are welcome. From my experience, the Attestation d'accueil and other documents didn't hold weight.

Praiseola001:
Thanks so much for the suggestion @mialete

TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 9:02pm On Mar 22, 2022
Most hotels in the Center want to atleast withhold a night's fee.

Some or all refund in full if you cancel before the date of free Cancellation.

tmodeltoluene:
I have but still need me to input card information. Even after trying to input the details now saying insufficient money in the account.

Does it mean I'll be debited?

TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 12:20pm On Mar 19, 2022
Photocopy all. Or print out if you have soft copies.

Use a Letter head for the first page and regular A4 for the subsequent pages.

meljoe:
Please I’m submitting landed documents and pictures

I know I’m submitting photocopies of landed documents not original but the pictures how do I go about it ? Will I submit it like that and it will be given back to me or how do I go about it ?

And please when writing cover letter do I need to use letter head just like how I did for letter of introduction ?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 12:17pm On Mar 19, 2022
I meant remove the amount from your first post.
