You can call them to make a formal complaint first. Make a move and take the bull by its horn.

Don't sit and watch whoever you got his refusal letter grab your visa mistakenly too.

Check here if someone had same issue like yours.

Depending on your Profession, you can check trade Events on 10times.com and eventseye.com .

When you find one that suits your need, always go to their website for proper verification and possibly check their Instagram, twitter pages first.

Be careful and always go for notable ones not those small unknown events out to cart away monies only to give your Fake Invites.

quote author=Gentlesoul3268 post=110232064]
Please how do you got the trade event online ? Can you guide me how to see a genuine conference or trade event in France? Because most of them that posting conference online are scammer
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 8:35pm On Feb 14, 2022
Hopefully, some get it on their first application. Every application is different from the other.

quote author=Donbaba123 post=110230395]

Like me have already applied. I could have go through that before submitting application as a first timer, well i hope it turns out well.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 8:33pm On Feb 14, 2022
The best advice if you haven't applied and gotten a refusal.

If you intend going down that route, better Give it enough time before reapplying.

In my Case, i applied for a Tourist visa with an Invitation but was refused in February.

I travelled to Russia in May and came back stayed away for some months then i re applied for a Trade event in December.

My friend who got denied too the first and granted the Second time still on Tourism.

Cases differs.

HRprof:
This is the best advise for first time travelers. Is likely to get business visa than tourist visa as a first time traveller for Schenge visa. I have this experience when I first applied I was denied visa for tourist I later got a conference which I reapply and get the visa.

10days is Ok. Viator tours isnt a must. Make your own plans as everyone has what they intend doing when granted the visa.

Also I'd aviator booking reservation is compulsory?

@ Hammiid, Having multiple Schengen Visas doesn't guarantee a UK visa.

Best to put in an Airtight application. Dot all the i's and cross all the t's

hammiid:
I planning on flying twice to Paris because the visa is multiple entries

I'll be spending 10days each due to my business over there

Before leaving for France
I have paid for 6 month UK VISA THROUGH GOV.UK
For my Uk Visa
Schedule appointment for 29th Jan on TLS connect

So with my recent Schengen Visa I'm sure of getting the uk visa
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 8:09pm On Dec 30, 2021
All France Schengen visas and yes i and my friend went there the First time. My friend will have to go back there the second time as stated.

pufframmy:
wow but at your first schengen did u go for the Appearance ?

and your friend that was given that too second time was if from same schengen country?? and did he attend the first Appearance when he got the first schengen

thanks for the response
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 6:34pm On Dec 30, 2021
@Pufframmy, My first Schengen visa had that note attached to it.

My 2nd Schengen visa received this month didn't come with it , i only got the Covid note with Mine but my friend's 2nd visa had the Covid Note and same VFS return note attached to it though we applied together.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 1:22pm On Dec 05, 2021
Hello, i was refused in 2019. I wrote my appeal letter and used google translator to translate . It wasn't perfect but then they will understand it ..LOL.

After translating i sent to my friend in Paris as an email attachment , she printed and assisted me to mail to Nantes.

I did so because i wasnt expecting an overturn in the decision but for a better assessment in my next application.

I tried after some months and i was granted .

Thanks to @Beverlyhills for advising me to appeal the decision.

quote author=esdajo post=108220027]I already got the part where the appeal is to be in french. However, as for the second part, you can't completely rule out the efficacy of the appeal process. It might have played a role in you getting the visas subsequently after the initial refusal. My guess is that at least subsequent appeals would be treated on their merits and not against the backdrop of the previous refusal.
TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by mialate: 9:06am On Nov 10, 2021
Well my supposed pickup date was in September but i got there and i was told its not ready.

I sent a message via facebook and i was told to hold on as its been processed and i would get a notification.

Sent a reminder again and they asked me to go pick up as the festac office confirmed its ready for pickup.

Festac didnt send any SMS or call. So best go through the facebook immigration with your details.

dex711:
Congrats, did you pick it up on your date of collection or before?

Explain to your office whats going on. If they are in Nigeria, they should grant you some grace.

Semaj77:
Having issues with NIN as well , my expired passport has 4 names on it , my surname , first name , middle name and Christian name but while registering for my NIN I used only my surname , first name and middle name. Now the immigration agent says my last name ( Christian name ) should be on it since it was what I used in my initial passport. I had to go back to where I did my NIN and paid the motherfucker 10k there to add my last name and she still couldn't do it. Eventually I went back to the immigration agent and he took me to another guy whom I paid 7k and the NIN hasn't dropped yet for almost 3 weeks now. I've paid 17k just to add my Christian name to my NIN and still no progress. Worst thing is my work place is demanding I forward my passport for a trip to Dubai in December before this month runs out ( I have just a week to do my passport )
