I would say you don't know much about diabetes because obviously from the picture you will know it is type one diabetes also known as insulin dependent diabetes which kills very fast from the type 2 diabetes you are used to.

If the Nurses and workers of the hospital go on strike, who will look after the 2 day old child in the incubator? Who will administer drugs, feeds, change the oxygen, I. V fluids?
What the nurses did was to tell the family to take the baby to a hospital that will be functioning during the strike.
They would've referred the child while on an oxygen though.

This is a pure case of complicated elevated blood pressure in pregnancy. It's not just about the country not having emergency services, have we thought of the Health seeking behavior of our people? Very few Nigerians take their health seriously except it deteriorated to terminal point. May her soul rest in peace
