This is questionable. I have a lot of concerns that this was not thought through at all. The guiderails against abuse are not firm enough. Who finances them, who checks them, what will be the process of appointment, what are the qualifications. Will they be using current police structures ?? |
This statement is questionable. Is he saying when other governors get the money, he is excluded ![]() ? |
"They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover" |
Lawyers in the house, why does this happen? |
Slytiger:Just to ask, has she joined the ruling party? |
There is something essentially wrong with our vetting process. if private organisations can do background check to ensure they have the right fit in their establishments, this should be easier for government agencies established for investigation purposes. Something is certainly wrong somewhere. |
Why is it that this NSITF is always on the news for embezzlement and contracts fraud. It appears there is a lot of unaccounted and idle funds there. The agency should be retooled to pay salaries of those -both private and civil servants who lose their jobs before they get another job. |
Public officials must learn to declare gifts received while in office. it will save them from a lot of questioning after office. Certain office would always attract kickbacks disguised as gifts. You must be resolute and seen to be that too. |
....when you realise you no longer control state apparatus. |
Good thing you are not Tochitee: |
I don't believe only 1 company did the bid per contract - Others were either discouraged from submitting or no public advert of it. |
I am not sure if the minister can arbitrarily determine C of O amount without approval by the National Assembly. |
How do you wake up and start quarreling again by 6:30am? We all need to learn how to react calmly to situations |
Are there drains on this road? |
Who signed this agreement. Why was that middle man needed at all? |
This one does not read the room at all |
The truth is you guys didn’t pay attention. Everything was there but you were more interested in passing the budget than due diligence |
At least they are assembled in Nigeria |
This is nonsensical. These guys don’t read the room at all. If you intended getting a car at all, why didn’t you go for those assembled in Nigeria. These are the reasons governance is expensive in this part of the world and why they will do anything to get there. The perks are perking. |
How are we sure that technical issue wasn’t deliberately unattended to in other to grant this judgement at the appeal. These are the issues. The judiciary should always focus on substance. |
Is this the opinion of the Nigeria government or his personal opinion. This person was hailed as the next best thing to jollof rice when he was appointed. I thought his experience as a diplomat would mean knowing when and how to interrogate issues. |
OtunbaJ:Raise am! Raise am!! Raise am!!! |
Aduda is everywhere Wike is. You have been in the senate for more than 8years yet couldn’t even bring any development to the city. |
This government does not have the legitimacy to implement that report. It has one of the bloated executive council, it should have started from leaning its own. |
No! |
They are wasting their time. Some situations are lessons for the future. |
lexy2014:The National Assembly is the entity with that responsibility and it can be done. That agency is a cesspit. |
The only reason he put that man there is for him to amass ill gotten wealth for the next election. It’s time to scrap NDDC or restructure the governance process around it. There seem to be a lot of loose fund in that commission. |
It is well. |
What is this? Live up to your responsibilities of administering the FCT. |
The culture minister may be affected. Yet to see any action from her. |
