In labour market,d sch determine.u cnt just say uniosun cert shud beat oau, unilag cert.they wl first employ d unilag b4 uniosun.provided it same grade
Ninapha: in dat case, graduates of Unilag, UNN etc shd earn more and even be superiors in offices to graduates from some fed. University with same qualification and grades.

Connection and God grace.i pray mine wont b like dt o
FrancisTony: Jamb cutoff mark can never be used to judge but employer of labour should engage both degree holder in a battle of intellect.

At least, we have people that used expo to score 260 in jamb and entered University with runse.
And some brilliant student with 240 in jamb settled for Polytechnic because they don't have money for University runse i.e they got admitted to poly easily.

#Enough said.

To me, degree doesn't really matter if you have connection. Three of my cousin that studied in YABATECH are working in a big company while some University graduate are busy roaming the street.

Oau,ui,unilag dont always adhere to it.it is 200.when u knw that they are equal.y differentiatin d cut off mark.they should av say cut off markgrin
Weselion: Is 150 an abysmal low mark? Remember that uni's are now 180. Universities students spend 4 years in school, polytechnic students spend more than that with serious emphasis on praticals. Some Unilag students come to my school for assistance in projects and assignments
abi they only want polytecnic student head to swell uptongue

IF poly and uni cut off mark aint dsame.then we are nt equal

RomanceRe: 8 Women Christian Men Should Never Marry!!! by michaeltotti(m): 10:13pm On Jul 02, 2014
Nice one.d whole world shud hear dz.mod would uplease move to front page!
Have you prayerfully considered these characteristics when choosing a potential marriage partner?
it wasn’t difficult to draft this list. These are the women I tell my spiritual cronies to avoid:

1. THE UNBELIEVER - In my previous column, I reminded women that the Bible is absolutely clear on this point: Christians should not marry unbelievers. Second Corinthians 6:14 says, “Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?” (NASB). Apart from your decision to follow Christ, marriage is the single most important decision you will ever make. Don’t blow it by ignoring the obvious. You need a wife who loves Jesus more than she loves you. Put spiritual maturity at the top of your list of qualities you want in a wife.

2. THE MATERIAL GIRL - One young friend of mine was engaged to a girl from a rich family. He saved up money for months to buy a ring, but when he proposed she told him he needed to go back to the jewelry store to buy a bigger diamond. She pushed her fiance to go into debt for a ring that fit her expectations. She wanted a Tiffany’s lifestyle on his Wal-Mart budget. I warned my friend that he was stepping into serious trouble. Unless you want to live in debt for the rest of your life, do not marry a girl who has dollar signs in her eyes and eight credit cards in her Gucci purse.

3. THE DIVA - Some macho guys like to throw their weight around and pretend they are superior to women. Divas are the female version of this nightmare. They think the world revolves around them, and they don’t think twice about hurting somebody else to prove their point. Their words are harsh and their finger-snapping demands are unreasonable. Some of these women might end up in leadership positions at church, but don’t be fooled by their super-spiritual talk. Real leaders are humble. If you don’t see Christlike humility in the woman you are dating, back away from her and keep looking.

4. THE DELILAH - Remember Samson? He was anointed by God with superhuman strength, but he lost his power when a seductive woman figured out his secret and gave her man the world’s most famous haircut. Like Delilah, a woman who hasn’t yielded her sexuality to God will blind you with her charms, break your heart and snip your anointing off. If the “Christian” woman you met at church dresses provocatively, flirts with other guys, posts sexually inappropriate comments on Facebook or tells you she’s OK with sex before marriage, get out of that relationship before she traps you.

5. THE CONTENTIOUS WOMAN - A young man told me recently that he dated a girl who had serious resentment in her heart because of past hurts. A friend of mine told me "Before I would propose, I told my fiancee she had to deal with this,” he explained. “It would have been a deal-breaker, but there was a powerful breakthrough and now they are engaged.” This guy realized that unresolved bitterness can ruin a marriage. Proverbs 21:9 says, “It is better to live in a corner of a roof than in a house shared w

Thumb up 4 u jare.
If Ignorance can be defined in 4 words then it should be it should "You and your posts".
You claim you are old, meaning you probably benefited from free education and still yet you appear so dumb and also portray yourself as someone with a high level of ignorance in an attempt to seem smart.I could only wonder what could have been your fate if Education was this expensive during your time.
Nobody is arguing against the motion that education is free but if only you were as smart as you are trying to portray yourself, you'd clearly understand the difference btwn Public and private schools. Both require money but why one which is the PRIVATE, conventionally generates it's income and funds from student(I.e through various fees),the other which is PUBLIC,is a type of university established by the government, for probably the middle-class and Lower class,AND CONVENTIONALLY FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT WITH THE PEOPLE'S MONEY.
Note:the key word here is the source of funding, one is meant to be funded through the student's pocket while the other through the government's pocket.
Nobody is asking for free education here, they are only asking not to be victims of government refusal to DO THEIR JOB and fund the school and also the traditional difference btwn Public and Private universities should be upheld which is THE SOURCE OF FUNDING.
I hope a coward like you that apparently has a slave mentality and not able to stand and fight for what is their right can comprehend that.
Lastly,I leave Great Ife students with the words of a True Great: "Freedom is never given by the OPPRESSOR,it is something that is demanded by the OPPRESSED".............Continue the courageous fight,it's your right!
aluta continua
