Use ur 'volume up' keys to navigate to that "Power dowm", then use either d POWER BUTTON or VOLUME DOWN key to select.
That shud switch d phone off. Then power d phone on by normal pressing of d power button.

Thanks for your swift response. I already did that but didn't work. I had to take it to Gionee Care Centre, and after checking it they said it wasn't software issue but hardware. So I've dropped it there until they get it fixed. If I was given a new one, then I'd sell it to buy Gionee m5 plus.
My Samsung Note 3 did samething weeks after purchase and when they couldn't fix it, I was given another new one.

My Gionee S Plus fell into water and I immediately rescued it from staying in it. I removed the cover, dried it and it worked for two days then the third day, I took it out of my pocket and I saw this (refer to the image).
Please what do you think is wrong with it. As anyone encounter such issue with this phone before? Thanks in advance.

I just downloaded ookla speed test now and there's no globacom network on the list. And will I get the accurate speed test for all networks using one particular network provider? E.g using GLO SIM to test MTN speed.
Any help?

Pi Music Player

At the end I chose Blackplayer because of its music reachness, moderate thumping which gives room for a distinct audible of notes(you'll discover some sounds you never heard before on other music players, and lastly it's balance. Been balance, I hope you'll agree with me once you test it with a nice headphones( it feels as if the music sits in your heard, making you to discover and enjoy every note).

I used Bluedio UFO headphones for these analyses.
At least for now Blackplayer it is, I'm sorry Neutron Player undecided

Bought it 47k at microstation, Ikeja. The battery does well. When I'm with the phone I browse with 3G on for hours and still have lots of juice. I haven't considered timing myself with using it though.

Gionee offers quality considering the pricing. Of all the Chinese manufacturers you mentioned above, can you name one of their phones in the region of #47,000 - #50,000 that offers what Gionee S plus brings to the table both in specs and user experience?

Bought the Gionee S plus for my wife last week and I've been glued to it regardless of having the Samsung Note 3 in my pocket. Although I went for the Tecno J8 but immediately I saw S plus, chai, I quickly rushed to browse the specs & review and I wasn't disappointed.

Beautiful display
No hang
No Lag for heavy games
Swift performance
Wonderful pics.
You wouldn't even believe this is a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution display.
If you really don't want to regret over your decision, just go for S plus. Not saying J8 is bad though but if the two were placed on the table, it would only take a blind man to pick J8.
Gionee S plus is better to me.
