Politics › Re: Peter Obi: I Can Govern Nigeria Without LP Having Majority In National Assembly by Michelle70(m): 7:34am On Aug 13, 2022 |
Web2020: Which answer are you looking for? Ooh, because he doesn't tell lies like the regular politician.
Let's check out what Obi has said.
1. He governs Anambra without his part having a single member in the house of assembly, and he was not impeached. True or false? How was it possible because he did the right thing
2. He said you can not choose to be fighting corruption when the people around you are heavily corrupt and you are chasing opposition with Efcc. Is that correct or wrong
3. He said he had done it before as governor and could do it again.
So, why do you say he did not answer correctly. I understand your pain though PO is one of the biggest lying politician, he was so good at it that they nicknamed him "HIM TU LIE" |

MedicH: Sometimes it's difficult for people to understand simple conjectures because they are just brain dead.
Obi is simply saying that he cannot appoint an accountant general that can or will steal 180bn naira under his watch. By so doing, corruption would have reduced by 70%.
With ths ur low thinking ability are u sure you can pass the visa interview of a reasonable country ? how does he know someone who wouldnt steal? from the thousands he will employ. them deh write am for forehead abi? Like candidate like supporters, IQ less than that of a mudfish |

most time I choose to engage most of you not because I want to. But when I see things like Peter Obi won't be president I say to myself what kind of humans lives in this country. You see how this country is being messed up by this old people and people are supporting younger person who is a better option. You just they one side they tell us say Peter Obi won't win. So as the country they like this you like it abi when u supported Atiku in 2019, did u forget he was an old man? BTW, i have not decided on who to support as i am waiting for their interviews before i could pick a choice. My choice of voting is different from urs as i take cognisance of few things. Age, tribe, party etc holds little significance as long as i'm concerned. Afterall, Yahaya bello was considered a youth |

chai see what am saying, you still think Nigerians are all living in the Bush,2023 will shock most of you. Have you seen the number of people that went out to get their voters card of resent. This buhari government really opened peoples eyes. Let's see how those old men will win. So Peter Obi winning is wishful thinking but those old corrupt money bags winning is not wishful thinking. My country people eyes go soon clear those old men will be retired Make him win. I never recieve Kobo from any politician so whoever wins wont affect me. All i am saying is that do not underestimate the power of structure. just like yawning, support is contagious. Thinking every poor Nigerian or those who recieve nothing from govt will support Obi is inconsequential drivel |

nairavsdollars: Also speaking on how he wants to fight corruption, Obi said he will lead by example and ensure that all those who come in contact with him also do the same. “Fighting corruption is easy. If you the principal person is not stealing, your wife and children are not stealing, those around you are not stealing, then you have reduced corruption by 70 per cent”. This is how he plans to fight corruption? Employing the "change begins with me" strategy that couldnt work? Different parties, same idelogies. Its obvious Nigeria is heading for an impending doom, irrespective of who wins. Visa where art thou |

ASUU affected me when i was in school. The truth is most graduates are not employable. I am a data analyst and a seasoned one at that, if i leave my company, its most likely that i could get a new job in less than 2months. In 3years, i have worked in 2different companies. I got my first job in 2019, i had two job offers then and took the bigger pay option and in 2021 october, i saw a better offer, i applied and got my second job in thesame country where people say there is no Job i have seen graduates who couldnt print out excel sheets come to look for job, how do we employ people like that? most graduates dont have anything to offer except first class and second class. Even if Jesus christ becomes the president, there wont be jobs for an average graduate |

mrvitalis: When you people say this I laugh , are you saying
Nigerians are not smart enough to know who the vote for ?
Mimiko won under labour in ondo , obi won with APGA in anambra , PPA won in imo , but you think Nigerians wait for political leaders to tell them who to vote ?
This social media ,educated people didn't have interest in politics because there was no reason to ...but APC have made them feel the impact of bad governance ...so most are active now ...and they are the real people who control those village votes because they take care of them
It's in their absence or I don't care attitudes that politician can pay them to vote See ehn, APGA has structure in Anambra and thats why they always trimph in that state, their relevance isnt felt much in other states and thats why despite always getting up to 100k votes in Anambra, they are paper weight in presidential elections. I am not trying to support any candidate here but i am saying structure plays a significant role in elections. The townhall meetings by labour party will go along way but is not strong enough to bring down the two main parties in 2023. u urself know say PO candidacy, whether he is a saint or not cannot win in 2023. If he was that strong, people for don deh move into labour party as they do with APC and PDP. The fact that u hardly/dont hear all those thousands moving into LP is cos the party is not strong there. I wish the party luck sha, the more options we have, the better for we country |

most of you always thinks like nigeria is a stone age country. The funny part is most of you thinks that 80% of Nigerians lives in the Bush. Winning election is not about popularity just like you mention the case of buhari. But buhari won elections because people are tired of goodluck and thinks buhari was a better option not knowing its packaging. Now everyone is tired of this old people apart from few who still reason like you. 2023 Labour party will win presidential election people were tired of the govt as far back as early 2000 when African china sang Nigeria Jaga jaga. in 2015, different parties merged their structure into one to give APC the boost. Arent we tired of these old politicians, where is the Youth democratic party(YPP) that was on every public space in 2021, didnt they collapse cos of lack of structure? u think because 5,000 people shout PO online, everyone is now Obidient. Go to SS, SW and north and hear people discussing politics, PO names comes up once in a while. Forget all these people that will be in their shops 2023 and wont come out to vote, the real parties are scared they will loose some voters to Peter Obi and Kwankwasor which will greatly affect their winning. But saying PO will win is wishful thinking. |

i personally think he will be third. APC and PDP will still be first and second
For the media propaganda, there is something called grassroot politics and structure which LP doesnt have.
Do not underestimate the power of councillors, Governors, lawmakers, Chairmen and the kind of votes they could gather for their party. Its not about ur popularity o, Buhari popularity didnt get him anything until different parties emerged with their structure and gave him the boost.
PO is not even as popular as Buhari yet Buhari failed many times.
Those making online noise both on NL, twitter, facebook etc are not even up to 500k people. |

DonBenny77: It's not funny it's just the truth. The call for seccesion was borne out of the injustice of not being given a chance to rule as well. With Obi they now have a shot, do you expect them to ruin it? I think its saner to give the election a chance. An Obi presidency would lead to dialogue, peace and freedom for NK If Obi for any reason loses, back to Vawulence who is not giving who a chance? If i could remember correctly, its the youths that are not given a chance to rule, there are many top igbo politicians both in APC and PDP, both in APGA and LP but you hardly find a 30yrs+ in government, even to employ the youths is an herculean task, to allow them get education is an alien statement, oya give security is a no no no. The only thing they do to youths is to empower them with guns for their selfish interest. See Peter Obi campaign DG is an old prof with grey hair. The youths are the ones sidelined and not igbo |
